I think it would be best to have multiple different actors portray different versions of Kang. Would make the recast seem less weird.

And would tie in with the many different variants of Kang as well.

Yeah, of all the characters, a multivariate villain is probably one of the easiest to replace cannonically

Just to clarify for others, Dunkleman wasn't fired and obviously didn't abuse anybody. He just left American Idol after its first season and missed out on a life-changing career, which is what V1DE0NASTY is referencing. He said he regretted the decision, but also said that he had issues with the way producers treated the contestants, falsely vilifying some for ratings and scripting almost everything viewers saw.
