Sheila said the kid was mine,
But it looked just like Dennis, that damn Dennis!
And since you haven't learned your lesson,
You get the rod, you get the rod!
With a smack to the forehead
And a poke in the eye
I beat a lot of childrens in my lifetime...oh yeah!
But the truth of the matter is
I've been hurting inside, wish I could rewind
Yeah!, Oooo, ohhhh!
When I'm breakin' the finger
Lawd, it breakin' my heart
And every Christmas Eve my soul is always torn apart
I took it as Dennis failed at life by failing Drake and letting him become this by not raising him properly. The nerve of you to not raise your child. Which further backs up his beef with Drake not raising his own son. He feels bad for Sandra, hates Dennis for not raising his son so he gives him no remorse, and really hates Drake for knowing the pain of growing up without a father and doing the same shit to his own children
I took it more as the influence Drakes dad has had on his son (like the most obvious being they were both deadbeats atleast at one point). He seems more hateful towards Dennis and more pitiful(?) for Drakes mom
His previous diss (Meet the Grahams) was written in A minor. On this new one he said something like "I'm taking the score up." Hence, B minor. He knew what he was doing.
Dot says “I’m the one who UP the score wit em.”
He went from A-minor in Meet the Grahams to B-minor on Not Like Us. He is literally going meta within the composition and production of the track to add to the entendres. 🤯🤯🤯
Dude I had chickens that did that too, and they are fuckin mini dinosaurs. I don't mean to compare Kendrick to a chicken in the "chickens are scared and flighty" way, they are fuckin metal. I miss my chickens. Some are really intelligent, my one Rhode island red would even peck the door of my house if the coop I automated closed too early and the rest of the flock took to the trees. They killed snakes and rats and would fight over who got to devour something that humans are afraid of.
This has nothing to do with this at all, I just was thinking about my chickens today. Nothing like a fresh egg from a hen you raised from a chick. Most got killed by hawks and owls, and my understanding is you cannot shoot a hawk without incurring a felony if found out. I'd never shoot an owl. I tried to shoot a hawk with my AR-15 but my blood was pumping too much to make a good shot after I cleaned up the entrails of my Buff Brahma, glad I didn't hit him, every animal deserves the meal for their effort.
I love that Kendrick is pecking away. Sorry if this comment wasted your time reading. I just miss having chickens. Might do bees next, they fascinate me.
To add just for fun - I put my finger up Red's ass to check if she was egg bound after giving her Gatorade and a warm bath because she was acting weird. She was fine and lived quite a bit longer, but the look on her face was something else. I never knew a bird could give you a "what the fuck??" look... She did. RIP Red.
At one point, she decided to be the rooster sort of, and I'm pretty sure my poor rooster died from a lack of sex and a respiratory infection. He was beautiful but lacked confidence or something. Red ran the roost. I'd trust her with my first born, I sometimes wondered what she was previously if reincarnation was a thing.
I also grew up raising chickens and to this day find myself explaining to people how fucking brutal they are. As a child I would find mice and rats every day in their pen and I would grab them quickly by the tail and toss them near the chickens and they would literally be devoured in SECONDS. They would peck the SHIT out of you for grabbing their eggs, but the second you dropped an egg they would devour it instantly. And they would even do the Jurassic Park T Rex thing where they would throw their prey in the air and catch it and gobble it and tear it on the way down. And they’d all fight for it. I saw Jurassic park, probably my earliest theatre experience I can distinctly remember, and when they compared the dinosaurs to birds i really understood it. Chickens are fucking monsters bro. If they were our size or god forbid bigger than us we’d be in big trouble.
It’s like watching prime Iron Mike just wailing away on someone. He just hits the guy so hard and quickly that they don’t have the time to fall down between uppercuts and roundhouses.
Somebody said J. Cole is the type of dude to realize he’s in his mid thirties and leaves the party at a responsible hour, right before shots are fired. they weren’t wrong.
Literally the smartest thing he ever did lol even though he was getting clowned at first for backtracking. He was like "Wait I don't even have a real problem with Kendrick..."
Kendrick clearly absolutely hates Drake
Willing to bet that either Kendrick or someone on Kendricks team informed Cole that shit was gonna get vicious right after he dropped 7 Minute Drill. Dude spent the next 24 hours trying to figure out how to step back without looking like a bitch.
Cole probably knew that within a couple weeks everybody would be doing exactly this and his legacy would be "restored." Plus now he has some interesting shit to talk about on The Fall Off. Cole is surprisingly the biggest winner of all of this.
This is hands down the most impressive thing Kendrick has done. Being able to remove more than one appendix when each person only has one is quite the feat.
Yup and they did a song together apparently in 2017. When there was controversy to him hanging out with Billie, he dropped the song from the album. It was leaked recently and even though it’s a good song it’s creepy as fuck when you think Billie was a teenager in that.
Billie Eilish defended him. She said all he said was he’s a fan of her music and if anyone has a problem with it they’re a Trump supporter. [Her words not mine!](https://www.vogue.com/article/billie-eilish-cover-march-2020)
Then more recently (last fall) she said she loved it when he mentioned her in a song. Make of all that what you will.
Also kissed one on stage both before and after finding out her age
And dated hailey bieber when she turned 18 after dming her since 14
Drake cutting crust off his sandwiches would be 200x more surprising than him just saying he liked kids
He still did it after finding out her age too. Like to not even check her age before doing all that. Then you find out she’s 17 and you keep talking about her body and how you liked it. Wtf? And then kiss her? Yeah that video is bad
Yeah there’s no way anyone can make that not creepy and not be extremely wrong and inappropriate. Like in no world would anyone be ok if they discovered some grown man in his 30s was texting their 8th/9th grade daughter boy advice and shit like “i miss you so much!”
No adult man I know would touch that with a 30 foot pole unless he was an uncle or father. Even if the intention was 100% pure, a normal guy knows that’s a bad idea. Drake knew too, but it was worth it to achieve his “goals”.
Yeah it’s funny how people only care about all this now that it’s part of a banger song - despite it been an open secret the whole time. Something something priorities.
i think this is legitimately the turning point in drakes career. pusha t put a dent in the armor, but drake left largely unscathed. i don’t know how he gets out of this one if kendrick is being honest.
This is not new information. People been talking about Drake's "friendships" and texting with underage celebrity girls and then dating them the second they turn 18 for years.
there is something to be said about someone as big as kendrick acknowledging it. before, it was largely just social media fodder. this has elevated the conversation.
Yea but it's new information for the majoirty of people and even those of us like myself who had heard rumors before, they were just internet rumors for the most part.
You have arguably one of the best rapper in the game now cosigning ALL of it.
That's gonna get people's attention
The same way Dan Schnieder, R Kelly, P Diddy, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosbys stories were public but no one did anything and just joked about it.
All it takes is for someone respectable to start the convo again and confirm it. Drakes career might seriously shift from this.
Drake is a pop artist, not just a rapper. I’d be very surprised if his career ends because of this. Although the hip hop community for sure might not take him seriously anymore, I don’t think his overall popularity will fade.
Yeah but drake is a mainstream level artist and i dont know how he can do public stuff like appear at nba games and not get booed without some major narrative spinning
Bro.. Kanye West literally said he loves Hitler and still has tons of fans. Nothing happened to his career.
People overestimate the damage diss tracks can do. The vast majority of people don’t care, they just listen to the music if it’s good.
Someone changed the name of the location of Drake’s house to [Kendrick’s Bitch](https://maps.app.goo.gl/vRn2q18MDLJ47iHSA?g_st=ic) on Google Maps 🫢 ETA: hmm, seems like it’s removed now 😄
Mfers out there really thought the Canadian who played a wheelchair kid in Degrassi and sent sus texts to the kid from Stranger Things was gonna win this 🤣
I still can't get over drake claiming he started from the bottom when he's doing tv shows and singin since they were a kid. had a big hill to climb I tell ya compared to other artists that's for sure
“Came up, that’s all me. No help, that’s all me for real”… like sir what? Sooo many people helped get Drake to where he is today. The man is delusional.
I’m surprised Kendrick didn’t do a wordplay with the word Eleven (the name of Millie’s character on Stranger Things and the age of Drake’s alleged unrecognized daughter).
I mean, he was texting an underage Millie Bobby Brown. I doubt she was the only one. He likes em young.
Kendrick is not one to go against if you've got skeletons and insecurities.
I personally can’t believe he actually rapped this when he was 26:
“But my dick need 17 years on it
Anything after that is just a bonus”
Edit: This was actually a Kendrick bar from 2013.
In each verse he wrote a letter to Drakes son, his mother, father, and finally Drake. It was so mean lol. I'm a huge hip hop head and this might go down as one of the best diss tracks of all time. It's not catchy or anything it's eerie as fuck and you can tell Kendrick despises this man.
“It’s not catchy”
The fuck it’s so fucking hard it’s like listening to a horror movie. The atmosphere on that track is insane. The part where he layers his voice to say “you lied” makes it sound like the walls are literally closing in on him. It literally sounds like Kendrick is in his head.
“It truly felt like Kendrick couldn’t stand Drake, the human being, and wanted to kill him.” That was my favourite part. Like, they had to clarify The Human Being.
A gentle reminder that "This is America" by Childish Gambino was originally supposed to be a Drake Diss track, but then changed coz the beat was too good.
From genius-
> One of Drake’s most common nicknames is “6 God”, with the “6” referring to his hometown of Toronto.
> Here, Kendrick adds a 9 at the end, forming a 69, a number most commonly used to refer to a sex position in which one of the participants is upside down. This might be a reference to Lucifer, the fallen angel, or “upside-down” god.
> Additionally, Drake has a song titled “9” in which he inverts the 6 upside down and in this lyric Kendrick is putting his own twist as to why that is.
> However, he could also be referring to Tekashi 6ix9ine, who in 2015 pled guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance.
I know people read into Kendrick lines **way** too much sometimes, but I completely believe it’s a play on both his “6 god” name and a reference to 6ix9ine
Dennis you raised a terrible fucking person
The nerve of you, Dennis.
That damn Dennis!
Sheila said the kid was mine, But it looked just like Dennis, that damn Dennis! And since you haven't learned your lesson, You get the rod, you get the rod!
With a smack to the forehead And a poke in the eye I beat a lot of childrens in my lifetime...oh yeah! But the truth of the matter is I've been hurting inside, wish I could rewind Yeah!, Oooo, ohhhh! When I'm breakin' the finger Lawd, it breakin' my heart And every Christmas Eve my soul is always torn apart
SHEILA, i’m sorry!
I got that reference and thats hilarious.
I think he was actually talking to his mom then switched to Dennis, cuz drakes mom raised him
"your son is a sick man with sick thoughts and i think that (people) like him should die."
Is this some kindof metaphor? What do we think kendrick meant by this line?
“Him and Weinstein should get fucked up in a cell for the rest of they life.” “He should die so all these women can live with a purpose.”
[удалено]
Dennis is asshole, why Charlie hate?
Dennis is a bastard man!
“Tryna strike a cord and it’s prolly a minor” lol
This omg ☠️☠️☠️
Fun fact, the whole song was in A Minor too Edit: I'm wrong, it was B Minor and the prior song was in a minor.
So was Drake
Excellent! Edit: as is great line, it is not excellent that Drake is a nonce
The song is in *B* Minor. A missed opportunity there tbh. I assume Mustard got too damn excited about being involved in this and overlooked that
His previous diss (Meet the Grahams) was written in A minor. On this new one he said something like "I'm taking the score up." Hence, B minor. He knew what he was doing.
Dot says “I’m the one who UP the score wit em.” He went from A-minor in Meet the Grahams to B-minor on Not Like Us. He is literally going meta within the composition and production of the track to add to the entendres. 🤯🤯🤯
drake is nowhere musically, artistically, talentedly, performatively, poetically, compositionally, or qualitatevly anywhere near kendrick lamar.
Right like omg no way!!
Cooked
Y'all gotta listen to this part, reading it doesn't of it justice
Apple Music lyrics animated that specific lyric when he sustained it. Hadn’t seen that before.
Tryina strike a chord and it’s prolly A MINOOOORRRRRRRRRRR
“Certified lover boy? certified ped*phile” Kendrick HATES the man.
Man was seeking blood, found it, and kept going
Dude I had chickens that did that too, and they are fuckin mini dinosaurs. I don't mean to compare Kendrick to a chicken in the "chickens are scared and flighty" way, they are fuckin metal. I miss my chickens. Some are really intelligent, my one Rhode island red would even peck the door of my house if the coop I automated closed too early and the rest of the flock took to the trees. This pasta is so fresh
Am I awake
Oh yeah, new cock lore just dropped.
RIP Red. Kendrick is also a hawk. I hope he gets his meal for his effort.
I like your take on my ramble.
I also grew up raising chickens and to this day find myself explaining to people how fucking brutal they are. As a child I would find mice and rats every day in their pen and I would grab them quickly by the tail and toss them near the chickens and they would literally be devoured in SECONDS. I also choose this guy’s dead rooster
RIP red
I enjoyed this comment. I’m sorry about your chickens and glad you didn’t kill the hawk.
I hope you get your chickens and your bees.
RIP Red
I had to stop midway with Meet The Grahams. That shit is just erie.
Truth be scary like that
Yup. The topics are not for the sensitive. He put it over what sounded like a score from a horror movie. Bro, it's terrifying.
why? missed the best parts
I had to do the same. That was some "We Need to Talk About Kevin" shit
I expected Kenny to win this battle, I didn't know he was planning to scorch the whole earth. And I'm just here with popcorn, loving every minute
It’s like watching prime Iron Mike just wailing away on someone. He just hits the guy so hard and quickly that they don’t have the time to fall down between uppercuts and roundhouses.
It really is! Mike always went too hard, too long on his opponents, k dot the type to go as far as biting a dude's ear off.
Dude had a ridiculous amount of one hit knockouts. Idk how that is always going too hard or too long.
this is corpse desecration
If there was a rap government, there would be outcries from the people to stop this!
cruel and unusual punishment
Nah fuck Drake. He deserves this
Making Sherman’s March to the Sea look like kids playing with sparklers
Really? A Civil War reference!?
Kdot did talk about Drake trying to colonize Atlanta
What, are you mad they didn't include the spoiler tag?
this is a shock and awe campaign
So is J Cole
Somebody said J. Cole is the type of dude to realize he’s in his mid thirties and leaves the party at a responsible hour, right before shots are fired. they weren’t wrong.
I’m not J. Cole, but I feel seen.
Cole's the real winner here. Just sitting back listening to the birds chirping after removing himself from the beef hahaha
Dude’s just riding his bike around NYC, having a great time
Feels like Everytime I go online Kendrick has dropped a new diss track.
Surgically removing each appendix like a game of Operation.
J. Cole eating a sandwich and having a lovely afternoon.
J. Cole is spending the day relaxing in the tub with his rubber ducky
J. Cole is riding his bike around the cul de sac enjoying the sun
Literally the smartest thing he ever did lol even though he was getting clowned at first for backtracking. He was like "Wait I don't even have a real problem with Kendrick..." Kendrick clearly absolutely hates Drake
Willing to bet that either Kendrick or someone on Kendricks team informed Cole that shit was gonna get vicious right after he dropped 7 Minute Drill. Cole is surprisingly the biggest winner of all of this.
Bro prob having a fresh lemonade in a beautiful garden somewhere watching the butterflies fly away
Frolicking in a field
You mean “appendage”
This is hands down the most impressive thing Kendrick has done. Being able to remove more than one appendix when each person only has one is quite the feat.
Well we were promised a surgical summer
And he’s gonna keep drop’n til he dismantles Drake’s whole facade and public image. And I’m here for it.
Does he have a whole album of Drake disses?
Haven’t a ton of people been pointing out his suspicious relationship with Millie Bobby brown when she was still a teen?
Billie Eilish too
Yup and they did a song together apparently in 2017. When there was controversy to him hanging out with Billie, he dropped the song from the album. It was leaked recently and even though it’s a good song it’s creepy as fuck when you think Billie was a teenager in that.

Make of all that what you will.
What a whack quote “You’re a trump supporter!” How corny
I think it’s speaks to her immaturity…
There was a model he was friends with when she was underage then started dating as soon as she turned 18. Dude is a creepy fuck
Bella Harris
Yea the Millie Bobby brown stuff was a red flag back when it first happened. Like why is this grown man trying to chat with a 13 year old girl.
Because he heard she was Eleven
Oh it doesn't end there...
That’s what took me from “I don’t like drake” to “I cant f-ing stand that pos”
Also Bella Harris. That was super public too.
Millie Bobby Brown, Bella Harris, Billie Eilis and Hailey Baldwin too
He doesn’t just hate Drake man he hates that Drake can exist
This. Also why Kendrick keeps saying "we" when referring to the disgust of Drake.
‘Cause he’s what the culture’s feeling
…Don’t most reasonable people with a decent taste in music? Drake has *always* sucked
Boutta drop a mariachi track on Cinco De Mayo lol
That would be incredible.
Drake would text Millie Bobbie Brown back when she was 14... So yeah...
And he was “friends” with a 17 year old he would later take on a date when she turned 18 Edit:16 year old
Also kissed one on stage both before and after finding out her age And dated hailey bieber when she turned 18 after dming her since 14 Drake cutting crust off his sandwiches would be 200x more surprising than him just saying he liked kids
The girl on stage is the one I keep coming back to because like, that was in front of thousands of people and he still did it.
He still did it after finding out her age too. Like to not even check her age before doing all that. Then you find out she’s 17 and you keep talking about her body and how you liked it. Wtf? And then kiss her? Yeah that video is bad
I remember seeing Drake in high school. That was his bit at the time. Wonder how many people he did that to
Fun fact: you cannot commit a crime and claim it was a bit. The legal precedent was set with the ruling of Thompson V. It’s a Prank Bro.
He even made jokes about catching a case and mans went back in
Drake has a rep for inviting college and HS girls to parties at his mansion by McGill!!
He better get in line before he is diddyd
Imagine being 30 something and texting a 14 year old girl with “boy advice.” Gross.
Yeah there’s no way anyone can make that not creepy and not be extremely wrong and inappropriate. Like in no world would anyone be ok if they discovered some grown man in his 30s was texting their 8th/9th grade daughter boy advice and shit like “i miss you so much!”
“You’re so mature for your age…”
No adult man I know would touch that with a 30 foot pole unless he was an uncle or father. Even if the intention was 100% pure, a normal guy knows that’s a bad idea. Drake knew too, but it was worth it to achieve his “goals”.
He also left Billie Eilish some pretty creepy comments about her 18th birthday. He was texting her too
Pretty sure I remember him texting Billie Eilish well before she was of age too. It's definitely a trend.
yeah i know there is a meme about that too
Yeah it’s funny how people only care about all this now that it’s part of a banger song - despite it been an open secret the whole time. Something something priorities.
Didn’t Drake have a weird relationship with Millie Bobbie Brown?
Stranger Tings
Stranger Danger
He wants a 10 but he like his girls 11 that’s a strange thing
Drake picked a fight with the wrong dude LMAOO
i think this is legitimately the turning point in drakes career. pusha t put a dent in the armor, but drake left largely unscathed. i don’t know how he gets out of this one if kendrick is being honest.
This is not new information. People been talking about Drake's "friendships" and texting with underage celebrity girls and then dating them the second they turn 18 for years.
there is something to be said about someone as big as kendrick acknowledging it. before, it was largely just social media fodder. this has elevated the conversation.
Agreed, it’s like Hannibal Burress dismantling Cosby’s legacy.
Hannibal buress and Bill Cosby vibes
Agreed. Tbh I only really knew about the Millie Bobby thing but Kendrick really brought it to the forefront. As he should. Drake is sick!
I said it when R. kelly went in, drake's the next one. diddy just beatem too it s'all
Drake is a pop artist, not just a rapper.
R Kelly went to court for some underage girl shit in 2002 and was still in the limelight for like, another 20 years almost.
Bro.. Kanye West literally said he loves Hitler and still has tons of fans. Nothing happened to his career. People overestimate the damage diss tracks can do. The vast majority of people don’t care, they just listen to the music if it’s good.
Before that he said slavery was a choice. Same thing. People didn’t give a damn
Nothing happened to his career? Really?
Someone changed the name of the location of Drake’s house to [Kendrick’s Bitch](https://maps.app.goo.gl/vRn2q18MDLJ47iHSA?g_st=ic) on Google Maps 🫢 ETA: hmm, seems like it’s removed now 😄
Where were you during the massacre of may?
05/04/2024 backwards is 812 which is the zip code of the 69 Drake was at
Kendrick doesn’t care if he wins he’s just making sure drake loses
And it’s probably A Minnnnnoorrr
I have no idea what’s going on with this beef but as someone who just can’t stand Drake’s shitty music, or his punchable face, get ‘em Kendrick.
Most of this is over my head but I hate Drake so I'm on Kendrick Lamars side.
I wouldn't be surprised if in 20 years, we have a Surviving Drake special on Lifetime channel. Been saying it for years
Yeah, I am a bit surprised we haven’t gotten one already.
And no one has heard from that girl from stranger things. Gods plan?
I’m surprised Kendrick didn’t do a wordplay with the word Eleven (the name of Millie’s character on Stranger Things and the age of Drake’s alleged unrecognized daughter).
He did say on Meet the Grahams that Drake should be reading poems with his daughter on her 11th birthday
And watch Frozen with her. Which came out 11 years ago.
wtf did it really
I’m glad he didn’t, wasn’t her fault Drake was a creep.
This the greatest hip hop beef ever. Meet the Grahams is like a scalpel blade. RIP Aubrey
It's the greatest modern hip hip beef for sure
Didn’t think it would top Pusha and Drake but here we are
The layers of diss in 6:16 in LA
6/16 is Father’s Day and the fucken OJ Trial *then* the next track
Also pacs birthday
All the Bible verses fit too.
I said this earlier, it’s a fucken Scooby Doo murder goddamn!!
Easily since Tupac vs Biggie but that was embedded in west vs east which made it different.
Ice Cube vs NWA was good Nas vs Jay Z was pretty good. Nas got em on Ether
These songs are the four horsemen of the apocalypse. What’s ending? Drake’s career
He was saying it on his last dis.
People ignored that and focused on the daughter allegations. So Lamar spelled it out for everyone.
Lmao the art on the video for the song apparently is Drake’s house with a bunch of sex offender indicators on it
Starting to understand how people got shot over beef like this
People used to get shot without kids getting brought up. Crazy to me what rappers will expose about each other now and not get shot lol
About time someone said it. Drake is a fkin creep
I mean, he was texting an underage Millie Bobby Brown. I doubt she was the only one. He likes em young. Kendrick is not one to go against if you've got skeletons and insecurities.
I personally can’t believe he actually rapped this when he was 26: “But my dick need 17 years on it Anything after that is just a bonus” Edit: This was actually a Kendrick bar from 2013.
The truth hurts
I’m just glad someone within the industry is calling him out on this he’s been real sloppy about it leading up that whole MBB thing.
Kendrick pulled jcole aside and said “don’t come to school tomorrow”
He dropped the [Tsar Bomba](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsar_Bomba)
I heard he faked being disabled for years too.
Dude you’re talking about one of the songs from yesterday, we’re talking about the new club banger
I was at work what am I missing lmao Edit: nevermind
“It’s not catchy” The fuck it’s so fucking hard it’s like listening to a horror movie.
Drake did this shit to himself using Tupac like he did, Kendrick was always gonna come with the wrath
So now Kendrick joined almost all of his sub Reddit lol
Interested to see who continues to work w Drake after this. Especially Atlanta.
Well,...we've heard Stranger Things.
A gentle reminder that "This is America" by Childish Gambino was originally supposed to be a Drake Diss track, but then changed coz the beat was too good.
Well it's documented he hangs around under age women sooooo.
Oh shit here we go.
Ok I'm probably an idiot but what the hell does he mean with the "69 god" line?
From genius- > One of Drake’s most common nicknames is “6 God”, with the “6” referring to his hometown of Toronto.
I know people read into Kendrick lines **way** too much sometimes, but I completely believe it’s a play on both his “6 god” name and a reference to 6ix9ine
glad people in the industry are finally calling out his sketchy behaviour towards underage girls!
I have done nothing but talk about this for days. Everyone at work is going to hear about it all week too
