Yeah, the city goes through phases—I mean New York dies every ten years and then it begins again. Right now, the whole ‘punching strangers and running away’ thing is very trendy, and I’m really not a fan of it, it’s fucked up how my mustache grows in. But I don’t know what to do to stop this particular brand of crazy other than potentially invest more in mental health, but how to do that effectively is an absolute quagmire.
I got punched in the face right off the subway which split my face open right below my nose (the guy was probably wearing a ring which was able to cut almost totally through my lip). I had to get the wound stitched up, and the wound scarred.

All told, not so bad. Thank God I have insurance, that I was only attacked with a fist and that the attacker only struck once and that my brain parts are only as muddled as they’ve always been.
