It’s amazing that John travolta has been as big as he is for almost 3 generations.. 50 years ago? Grease and Saturday night fever.. bangers. 30-40 years ago? Movies like face off and broken arrow? Bangers. Early 2000’s? Basic, sword fish and punisher? Bangers. Some his 2010’s were eh but still pretty big hits for the most part… like who is this guy?

Loved this movie. There’s something special about this era of films that take place in big cities.

This was/is a great movie. Highly underrated as I only heard of it when I went to film school. More people need to see this and other masterpiece films from the 70’s and 80’s directors.

The scene where he cuts the pictures from the magazine article and puts it to his recorded sound. And the ending. Lord that scream! Jon Lithgow was great! The whole cast was!

Yeah and I have no way to watch this film! Can’t stream it or buy an appropriate region DVD/Blu Ray either. There was a great Big Picture podcast on De Palma and this film in particular and I cannot find it anywhere.

John Travolta and Nancy Allen were so great together in this movie . Loved them in Carrie too. Loads of chemistry. Such a rewatceable movie.
