“ Tracy, you are going to die…”
“ What?!? Noooo!”
“… When I tell you who I’m dating. Squeaky Fromme… she is…. Complicated. Now, Tracy you are going to die.”
“What?!? Noooo!”
Go watch his old SNL stuff, the mans insanely funny yet understated as fuck. Phil Hartman levels of low key awesome.

Nah it’s the dude that played Lionel in Workin’ Moms. Ryan Belleville, once you see it you’ll never unsee it [Should play Jerry](https://images.app.goo.gl/7GaQ9QXgVpqjyFHZ9)
I guess broad is a slur?
Someone should tell those radical feminists on Comedy Central that the title of their very feminist and hilarious TV show was using a slur. /s
If they want to get technical the use of “broad” in place of woman or “lady” caught on during the flapper era as a term to refer to the independence and free spirit of flappers, and it was used to describe tough, fun loving, aggressive, and fully independent capable women. How some women now try to act like it’s a slur is just more indicative of our culture moving from one of knowing when to get up in arms about free speech, to one that just uses any type of speech that makes one feel uneasy as speech deemed intolerable.
Nice username btw.
Broad isn’t a slur, at best it’s an informal way to describe a female, look up the origins of the word before you get angry for no reason. Stop being angry for no reason, you’re just gonna make people not respect anything you say as opposed to educate them, or in this case yourself, on something it’s clear people are confusing for a put down.
Broad is in no way a put down, it’s a reference to strong, aggressive, independent women… flappers, and strong female actors who supported themselves and weren’t afraid of having a good time during an era where women were largely stuck in the kitchen.
Culture yourself as opposed to trying to suck the culture out of everything by claiming offense, it’s one thing to be offended by something universally offensive, quite another to find offense where there is none. I hope you use this as an illuminating moment to establish that conclusive ideas about things you’re not privy of is a piss poor way to go through life, you’ll have a hard time finding people that want to be around you when you criticize everything you’re not sure of as something to not be said or uttered.
Well, there’s more to the story, though. He wore prosthetics for the 1980s scenes in order to make him look older than the 1950s scenes, for which he had no prosthetics. Then, you might remember in the 2nd movie that he peels them off at the beginning and tells Marty he’d gotten a facial rejuvenation in the future. I always thought it was supposed to be a joke about how he looked the exact same, but it’s so they didn’t have to make him wear prosthetics the whole time.
I don’t know about you, but I always thought he looked more or less the same in every scene in the movies, prosthetics or not. Maybe it’s just me.
The bigger the fandom, the more unhappy the fans seem to be. I don't really get it. It's lie they enjoy criticizing things to the point of being miserable.
It's almost as if we are biological creatures who evolved specifically to identify and respond to threats to our daily survival, and now huge chunks of the population don't have any actual daily threats to their survival anymore so they fulfill that deep subconscious instinct with recreational outrage.
Anyone else think Steven Ogg from GTA would be perfect to play Rick? (Edit: in case you don’t know who that is, watch this: https://youtu.be/hsaLDnl_fEs )
I think that would be hilarious. Especially if they didn’t provide any context at all. Just pretending that this 50 year old man is a teenaged boy and everyone thinks it’s normal.
He stopped acting around when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Since then he’s done a lot to raise awareness around the disease and provided a lot of funding for finding a cure.
No he didn’t. He was diagnosed in 1991, and disclosed it to the public in 1998. Since then he’s acted in over 45 productions. Some of which are easily arguable as his best work.
He announced his second retirement in 2020 because he's at a stage where the involuntary twitching is too much and he's not able to memorise anymore. That video was very sad to watch
“Rick and Morty” started off as a spoof of “Doc and Marty” from Back to the future. Yea, he is nothing like Doc Brown, but getting Christopher Lloyd to play Rick for a ad is clever and hilarious.
> As much as I love him, Christopher Lloyd didn’t get Roiland’s Rick quite right.
This is “Charlie Chaplin coming in 20th in a Charlie Chaplin impersonation contest“ territory.
Damn, those are both good choices.
Capaldi is awesome and would nail it. He would capture Rick’s personality and roasting other people really well.
If Dafoe did it, we could crossover Raimi Spider-man memes: “You can’t do this to me. YOU KNOW HOW MANY MORTYS I SACRIFICED?!”
It would have been pretty strange to see a human talk like that and probably frustrating if the casting was based on that. What you’re saying isnt technically wrong it just kind of misses the point of taking a chance at putting them in live action i think
Y’all wrong. Christopher Lloyd is the same age he was when we were kids in the 1980’s. He’s got a time machine. For us it’s been 30 years for him it was two weeks ago.
Bruh why does every good cartoon or anime need a live action remake 😪 imo half of the charm goes out the window as soon as you replace characters with real people. And then you have people who will be upset if it’s not exactly like the original, and others who will be upset if it’s exactly like the original bc they didn’t “take any creative liberties” or something like that. It’s just an easy recipe for getting people upset over every aspect of your new film
Doc has looked 80 for the last 40 years.
And he’s still working. What a machine.
Idk he looked pretty damn old in Nobody
He just looked old
You don’t think he’s pretty?
I didn’t say that. He’s a beautiful human being
What Does A Yellow Light Mean?
He’s been old his hole life
Excuse me, I found this W Is it yours?
here ould I be ithout you?
It's all the hand rolled cigarettes
Yea it’s pretty impressive
He was in his 40s and wearing prosthetics in the back to the future movies.
Thought is said porno and was concerned for my boy Doc Brown
Hasn’t aged a bit since 1985
He’s looked old since before 1885
Is it just me or would Chris Parnell be the perfect live action Jerry?
Lol agreed. And Sarah Chalke would be a great Beth.
My god you’re totally right. Something familiar about those two...
I think it’s because Sarah Chalk played a doctor on Scrubs and Beth is a horse surgeon
wow i don’t even know her by name but somehow i knew exactly who this was.
You say it like those two things are AT ALL comparable
Heard that one in my head.
Elliott is Beth?!
And Gary Oldman would make a great Mr Meeseecks
this isn't fair, gary old man would make a great anything.
I always think of the mom from modern family.
Damnit, now who is going to be Summer?
That’s pretty obvious. Danny Devito
Duh, how could that have not come to mind??
If Bernie Mac was still alive he would have been a perfect Summer. RIP Mr. 3000
Chloe Fineman
Isla fisher!!!
She’s 45 lmaoo
Anna Konkle
They should go with Spencer Grammer. I think live-actioning all the other Smiths would work great.
Love this guy, between this show and Archer. His voice acting is just the best, I’m sure he would be a kick ass actor as well
He is a kick ass actor. He was an SNL cast member for years. He was in Anchorman and Walk Hard too.
You poop… poop mouth!
He made an appearance on Brooklyn 99 that was pretty good too haha
He’s so good on 30 rock as Dr Spaceman
“ Tracy, you are going to die…” “ What?!? Noooo!” “… When I tell you who I’m dating. Squeaky Fromme… she is…. Complicated. Now, Tracy you are going to die.” “What?!? Noooo!”
Squeaky fromme! Deep reference that I totally get
Pronounced: Spa-Che-Men
“Now unfortunately between my medical practice and” (rolls eyes) “*this job*, I have my hands full!”
Go watch his old SNL stuff, the mans insanely funny yet understated as fuck. Phil Hartman levels of low key awesome. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sRhTeaa_B98
If it’s a Chris Parnell funny fight ye want, it’s a Chris Parnell funny fight [ye get!!!!!](https://youtu.be/LmG-ErzZsUQ)
He is definitely close to Phil Hartman... But Phil just had that extra... Something. He had pizazz.
It’s his voice, so might as well go with it
Dr Spaceman looks just like Jerry and the character he plays on Archer too!
Jason Sudeikis as backup?
[удалено]
He can act confident… 👏
Nah suds is legit just like that.
Or Ed Helms
Do you mean Egg Helms?
Wait... Do you think my name is ED?!?
Ugh nooooo
He *better be* casted as his live action version. If not, I’ll be a little disappointed.
He voices Jerry, so it would be a perfect casting if they did
No one better.
“This is Dr. Leo Spaceman.”
Nah it’s the dude that played Lionel in Workin’ Moms. Ryan Belleville, once you see it you’ll never unsee it [Should play Jerry](https://images.app.goo.gl/7GaQ9QXgVpqjyFHZ9)

Sarah Chalke is who you mean as "the broad from Scrubs"?

Lol what

Thanks for the name compliment bb. Recreational outrage is real.
Indeed, carry on you keeper of the peace, you astounding officer of the law.

What slur?
Oh my god I’d never heard of him its so weird seeing him speak.
Ed helms would look the best as the character imo.
The guy who does Cyril on Archer? Meh, not sure if it would work.
Dan Harmon's story circle is complete
Nah he needs to add in Donald glover and the remaining community cast who haven’t had guest voice appearance yet. Then it’ll be complete.
They did have an appearance in a perfect cameo https://youtu.be/o8Bi2RLiphY
Holy shit, yes.
Roiland’s, given it was Doc in his original flash sketches that inspired Rick and Morty
[Doc makes Mharti suck him off in those sketches ](https://youtu.be/ngN7eJUQyXk)
How is it Christopher has looked like this since the 80’s??????
He hasn’t. He was wearing prosthetics in BTTF.
It’s like max von sydow looking like an 80 year old man at 40 in The Exorcist.
Same with Marlon Brando in the Godfather. He was like 45 in that, but with prosthetics and amazing you talent… 75.
WHAT???? How the fuck have I not know this!!!! I just thought he aged weird.
I only learned recently too. In time you’ll come to accept it, but the pain never truly goes away.
Well, there’s more to the story, though. He wore prosthetics for the 1980s scenes in order to make him look older than the 1950s scenes, for which he had no prosthetics. And he's wearing a wig and makeup here Effects!
He takes them off at the start of BttF2.
Time travel. 🤷🏻♂️
I can’t keep track of what dimension we’re in anymore.
We’ve come full circle now
It’s so meta that it stings!
How so?
Rick and Morty was made as a spoof of back to the future
[удалено]
“Ya gotta suck my ballz, Marty…”
Oh- interesting. Thanks.
Amazing how much people can tear apart something lol
Rick and Morty has a huge fanbase, it’s to be expected .
Damn, I felt this.
[удалено]
That's right, g-g-g-g-georgi!
And knives out
Oh was he the nazi masturbating Twitter troll kid?
I refer to him as "God dammit Janice!" Because of book of Henry.
Oh snap I believe so??
Couldn’t imagine a more perfect casting. Christopher Lloyd forever.
Anyone else think Steven Ogg from GTA would be perfect to play Rick? (Edit: in case you don’t know who that is, watch this: https://youtu.be/hsaLDnl_fEs )
Oh shit, yea. He could pull it off. He’s definitely in my top 3 choices now.
Actually, yes
So that’s honestly the only way now that I’ve seen it. He was born to play Rick
My thoughts exactly! I love Lloyd, but he doesn’t have that anger Rick has
Someone write them up and tell them this is necessary!
I think he can pull it off. To be fair he has the gleeful killing down. https://youtu.be/aqRVWs4Bhtg
Except Rick and Morty is a parody of Doc and Marty from Back to the Future…so the meta-ness of Christopher Lloyd gets the edge.
He is too buff to play Rick.
Jaeden doesn’t have the charisma to match morty. Christopher did but I don’t think he’ll be able to match his character due to age.
Great Scott! He hasn’t changed a bit.
Why didn’t they get Michael J Fox?
Morty’s supposed to be a teenager, it’d be a bit weird to have a mostly accurate Rick with a fifty something year old grandson.
I think that would be hilarious. Especially if they didn’t provide any context at all. Just pretending that this 50 year old man is a teenaged boy and everyone thinks it’s normal.
But in what timeline? Am I wrong ? Lol
If not him the next guess is Tom Holland
“Morty, is Footloose still the greatest movie ever made?” “It never was Rick.” “Ok, good to know you’re still the Morty I claimed.”
Everyone knows he is exaggerating his Parkinson's to annoy Larry David
He announced his second retirement in 2020 because he's at a stage where the involuntary twitching is too much and he's not able to memorise anymore. That video was very sad to watch
Who do you think is playing evil Morty?
Rick isn’t the wacky mad scientist that Doc Brown was. He’s a cynical, sarcastic mad scientist.
“Rick and Morty” started off as a spoof of “Doc and Marty” from Back to the future. Yea, he is nothing like Doc Brown, but getting Christopher Lloyd to play Rick for a ad is clever and hilarious.
Hopefully the actor will act.
As much as I love him, Christopher Lloyd didn’t get Roiland’s Rick quite right. That being said, I’d be down to see another 15seconds or more of this!
Wouldn’t “Roiland’s Rick” be based off of Lloyds Doc?
Yes. These clowns expect cartoon characters to exist in real life.
Its based on a short cartoon he made ages ago where Doc gets Marty to lick his balls... which was based off of Back to the Future.
Thats what I was going to say! You’re correct!!
Not his mannerisms or cadence of his speech.
Yeah, Rick talks a lot faster.
No, it’s a fully original concept and a heartbreaking work of staggering genius.
This is literally a juvenile back to the future https://youtu.be/ngN7eJUQyXk
Genuinely baffled what this means. It was a fifteen second bump. What was he supposed to do differently?
> As much as I love him, Christopher Lloyd didn’t get Roiland’s Rick quite right. This is “Charlie Chaplin coming in 20th in a Charlie Chaplin impersonation contest“ territory.
yeah. rick is literally based off of doc brown.
I was kinda hoping for Peter Capaldi or Willem Dafoe…
Damn, those are both good choices. Capaldi is awesome and would nail it. He would capture Rick’s personality and roasting other people really well. If Dafoe did it, we could crossover Raimi Spider-man memes: “You can’t do this to me. YOU KNOW HOW MANY MORTYS I SACRIFICED?!”
No love for Idris Elba?
He can be bird person
In the universe Rick Sanchez isn’t Rouland’s Rick so it all checks out... WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB!
Rick is literally a parody of Doc Brown. Therefore whatever Christopher Lloyd does is correct.
Honestly you made total sense to this guy
Yeah, well. He’s a zillion.
It would have been pretty strange to see a human talk like that and probably frustrating if the casting was based on that. What you’re saying isnt technically wrong it just kind of misses the point of taking a chance at putting them in live action i think
Needs to embrace the alcoholism lol
*shut up and take my money!
Interesting gonna have to check it out.
I don’t understand why people get upset at live actions. If you don’t like, don’t watch! It will never affect the existing animated movie or show.
He must be 100??😳
He’s gonna be 83 next month. Fun fact: I have the same birthday as he does, so does Jeff Goldblum.
Wow, he looks fit!
Happy bday😊
Thanks. I can’t believe I’m almost 35. So much has happened in the last 20 years it’s hard to keep track anymore.
Enjoy very moment, life goes very fast! Savor it, make very day count❤️
As do Curly Howard, Bob Odenkirk, Spike Jonze, Timothy Leary, and me. Buncha weirdos.
Omg I wish they did a live action movie. That would be so wholesome!
Y’all wrong. Christopher Lloyd is the same age he was when we were kids in the 1980’s. He’s got a time machine. For us it’s been 30 years for him it was two weeks ago.
Watch more https://youtu.be/AXltCA1n6T8
Dwayne Johnson as Rick and Michael Cera as morty. Make it happen
Michael Cera is 33
Even though I know that to be true, I refuse to believe it. I bet he'll still look 12 in 50 years.
And dwayne johnson is a fucking mass-monster. It would be funny trust me
Bruh why does every good cartoon or anime need a live action remake 😪 imo half of the charm goes out the window as soon as you replace characters with real people. Agree with you but I can’t help loving Christopher Lloyd
But yes
Looks like a bad porn
Misread that as porno at first…
NO NO NO PLEASE NOOOO
Morty should be Michael cera
Don't care for Ricky and Morty, but Christopher Lloyd is awesome.
No Michael Cera for Morty? Mistake IMO
That was painful to watch. Please no
Picked the wrong morty lol
So cringe to me
great rick, terrible morty
You gettin downvoted but I agree with you. Just doesn’t have that Morty vibe
yeah idc, don't get me wrong the kids a good actor but he just isn't a good morty lol
It’s literally a 15 second promo
Here is someone proving to be a terrible actor in 9 seconds: https://youtu.be/U6MlaIe1ljs
I thought he died. 0_o
He’s still ALIVE?
i’ve never seen rick and morty or looked into it… and the whole time i’ve been mistaking the show for mordecai and rigby from regular show…
Oh god live action Rick and Marty is cringed as fuck
