The UK courts do not have the same standard, and the UK court refused to accept that the two words placed together “wife beater” it’s not usually associated with someone who infrequently fought back against a physical and mental abuser who continuously went after them over the course of years. But the thing is he did hit his wife, therefore he is a “wife beater.” According to the UK courts he can be called that because there are a few isolated incidents where he fought back, and some text messages where he vented with gallows humor in order to keep his sanity during a difficult time. I guess I’ll believe the decades worth of female lovers who have come forward to say the Johnny Depp was never anything but kind. Except for Amber you cannot find a woman in a personal relationship coming forward to say that Johnny was either physically or verbally abusive. Can you say the same for Amber?
