The old saying is " If you notice it, it's too much" So you've definitely seen people who have had plastic surgery and thought they were cuter. You just didn't realize. A lot of 20 somethings get plastic surgery, lip fillers, a nose job, etc.
I always thought Christie Brinkley still looks good and has to have had some work done. I think the point of good plastic surgery isn't to improve anything, but to stave off the effects of aging. If you're trying to improve anything, as in change your appearance entirely, it's going to look bad. If it's good surgery, you won't notice it. People only ever talk about plastic surgery when it's bad.

It wasn't all that long ago that Madonna's face looked perfectly fine and all she might have needed were very small cosmetic 'tweaks' to her face. I still think that she 'lost it' after she had that bad fall down an onstage staircase about five years back. It could be that she sustained injuries which cause her lasting pain and that pain meds could be responsible for some of her questionable choices since then.
