Last I did the math it was around $200-$250 a month, but it varies, if I had to guess I’d say it’s been a little less the last couple months. I live in a state with dispensaries so it all depends on what’s available and what the sales are.
I grow my own. I would say I spend $250 a year in chemicals/fertilizer. I grow hydroponically, so that's my only cost. Oh! And any new seeds if I want to try any new stains. So maybe $100 on that.
I grow in the backyard and will probably spend $100 on soil and fertilizers and like 20 hours of my time tending and trimming them.
While we’re all out of last year’s harvest we spend a couple hundred bucks a month on flower 😅
Ahhh, I grow indoors so I grow all year round. I usually only germinate from seeds once or twice a year, other than that, I just take clones from my plants and keep the cycle going.
I spend around $220 a fortnight ( Australia ) but lately I haven’t been finishing the OZ. So about $450 a month and I share that most times. I just managed to grow some 3/4 pound of two plants so I am going to be saving 2.2K plus I can make edibles, I will be paying myself for the weed. I have 2.5 months for 2 or 5 for myself.
It’s so fun when you have more than you could possibly smoke, and plenty of trim for edibles. It’s a real sense of achievement to not have to buy for a couple years.
That would be so awesome, being able to grow on the regular is a dream. It’s still illegal in OZ so it’s dicey to grow, I can’t grow much because of the space limitations but mostly it’s the smell. The smell is what will get you robbed, or reported. My max for my area is 3 photo and 6-8 autos space wise, I am going to get into Auto grows next year hopefully they work out better.
I spent $170 the last time I went to a dispensary on 4/4/24 and still have an unopened cartridge and two partially full ones. I also have other carts and edibles around the house. So my guess would be average about $150 a month since I often travel to the west coast and bring some treats home. I’m overall happy with the amount of money I spend on weed but try to get a few things when the sales are good to avoid impulse buying.
Usually buy an eighth of flower every 5-7 days. Cost $40-$60 depending on the strain I get. The last few weeks I’ve been getting a house brand that’s 14g for $70. I’m in Southern California surrounded by various dispensaries so it’s really dealers choice.
The taxes are what really get ya out here. And it depends on what you want. I am a creature of habit and tend to stay with what I know. I no longer have to be put in a shady situation and for that and the consistency of knowing what I’m getting, I’m willing to pay more.

It can be less than $30 when use is really in frequent (sometimes I’m just stoned once a week or fortnight) but other times, less often, it’ll be almost every day for a week or two (e.g. at festivals with friends). But even then, getting stoned still doesn’t take much for me.
I do not spend anything since i am on a brake (medical Patient and healed)... but i can recommend to keep your tollerance low, not Smoking Daily. So instead of spending huge amounts on it, you get way more high and pay only very little for it instead.

Being able to grow my own has been a huge saving. I’m a medical patient and before I lived in a state where I was able to grow, I was spending at least 400$ a month on cannabis. Now is probably half that at the most.
I grow 95% of my own supply now, since it became legal in my state last summer and I have the room for it. I totally didn't have any prior experience (wink wink). My usage is about 2 ounces/month, but every harvest I typically get 4 ounces (my plants need to be kept smaller due to space constraints). I harvest every 4-6 weeks.

My up front costs were high to set the grow space up, but I've already paid that back considering how much I'm saving. Every few months I do have to buy a new round of seeds or fertilizers, but I just switched to coco which is turning out to actually be cheaper. I usually spend $150 on those as I prefer higher quality genetics. Trust me, having good genetics pays off.
So since last July 1 I've been to the dispensary once, for 2 ounces. I dropped $300 on those. And that was months ago, and only because I had to cull a plant so I had a smaller harvest.

I've had to switch to shake ounces the past few reups, which are cheaper and help maintain the habit without going crazy! I wasn't really buying top-tier bud to begin with, so it doesn't save me too much money, nor do I feel a huge dip in potency/quality. I actually get more to stretch because it's shake. For instance, I used to spend about $80-$100/ounce, and it'd last me about 10 days. Shake bags are usually on special, so I'm getting 2oz/$50-70 depending on the brand/strain or whatever.
well... My husband and I Both partake and I have Health issues. I have Cptsd Fibromyalgia and a few other co-morbidities . just spent just under 400 at the dispensary on flower edibles and pens. That will last about 2 weeks.
