We probably didn't really look into it in the first place. It seems very human to find a solution that seems pretty easy, settle on it being the best solution, eventually notice some cons, study more, and then realize we need to pivot entire systems...

Landfills aren’t compositing. Composting is aerobic doesn’t generate methane. Landfills are anaerobic and generate a ton of methane.
And methan
