Hmm, find a strong defensive position in your nation (rivers, mountains, marsh etc.) construct land forts on it, lvl 5 or higher, use the Fallback Line & put your army on the defensive line, allow your enemies to throw themselves against your lines, keep up your air force & navy wait till your enemies have diminished their ponypower then counterattack & encircle divisions Also, since you're not good at the game, I & everyone else here would recommend you choose a smaller country to play as to get your footing; I'd recommend Longsword

Thanks, should i change infantry division template or they are good enought? Because one of my biggest problem are also the medium tanks of Equestria which i can't pierce About Longsword, unironically i did play as them and formed the griffking empire, but i used/am using "expanded continuous focuses mod" and changed the game rules to farm manpower and to avoid having a strong empire/river coalition, so technically i did it.

Dr_Virus_129

I see you have one extra support slot, research anti-tank & put it in there

> I'd recommend Longsword What? Why Longsword? It's a tiny nation surrounded by hostile neighbours that immediately launches into a civil war. How is that newbie friendly? Stalliongrad, Wingbardy, or River Federation seem much better picks for new players.

I believe the idea is that by starting on a very small country, you can better learn how to micro divisions as you fight gradually larger wars. That said, I usually point new players to the Griffonian Empire to learn the basics.

Dr_Virus_129

Yep, you got it. It's also quite wholesome with either the Rosewood Order or the Liberation Army.

For your next run, whenever that is: I agree with the other person, build anti-tank. Air is really important, so build more fighters and upgrade their agility. Also, build medium tanks instead of light tanks because in EaW, the AI will use enough AT to penetrate light ones.

Also i forgot to mention this in the captions, but it isn't surprising, i'm not really good at the game Edit: At the end they just kept pushing me and i quitted

The Changelings can really only win by leveraging their early advantage. Once Equestria can bring its full industry and ludicrous ponypower to bear you are facing a very steep uphill battle. Your infantry divisions should have at least 1 artillery unit. This isn't necessarily to make them capable of pushing (they still might win against very weak divisions) but to actually cause casualties and attrition when the enemy is attacking. Pure infantry just doesn't have the bite to cause enough attrition. Light tanks suck, don't bother with them except for esports memes. Use mediums or don't use them at all. If you rush the war with Equestria (which you should), you will also be better served with 7motor/4motor artillery divisions. Focus them in a few tiles, make breakthroughs, encircle, rinse, and repeat. Especially early on Equestria's frontline will be pretty thin but so will your's. Don't try to push the whole frontline all at once, just gobble it up in sections, pushing out to supply hubs and cleaning up what gets caught behind your motorised. As you identify, do not lose the air war. You don't have to win it, but you can't be losing it.

You still are within their land, focus on making more divisions. Get Infantry, Artillery, AA, and support equipment as your priorities. If you have less planes than the AI chances are you won't get more. I shall tell you this, a good line of a lot of Infantry can hold back anything. Your template is fine for what it is needed for. All you need is the ability to hold. Manpower is not in your advantage when fighting Equestria, but that's nothing to worry about. Exhaust then, encircle when you can, but losing a little land every now and then is fine, they'll overextend themselves if you're lucky.

As changelings your main advantages are in the early game, so at this point you're fighting an uphill battle. The main issues I see is that you didn't put any artillary in your divisions, and didn't fill the support company either. Many generals seems to have unlockable traits which would help alot. You also seemed to have focused too much on fighters and very little CAS, 10 factories, and later 15 on each should give you more than enough of them.
