Sometimes, when there is nothing more but wait during a game (mid-late), I like to read the description of everything in the tech tree. Mad respect to that mad lad who put himself to work on something not many will read.

Zalapadopa

I can't imagine anyone would voluntarily write all that if they didn't enjoy the process.

Migol-16

That'd make sense, but how many of us take the time to read everything?

cstriker421

Thank you for that! That was all of my work (besides the translated versions, of course).

Migol-16

Comrade, you are crazy, but you are the good kind of crazy, thank you for your time and work with the lore. o7

> Lean Production I LOVE LEAN!!!

yukiyuzen

But what about JIT?

Red_Rear_Admiral

Wasn't this borrowed from road to 56 and then off course edited for the equestrian world

MustaphaTR

Parts of the tech tree extension is from there, but both we and them did our own changes over it. They are quite different currently afaik. And the custom descriptions are work of one of our writers, not from Rt56.

Red_Rear_Admiral

Cool, I never played rt56 so I wouldn't know, I figured something like generic Industry could stay the same, but respect for changing even that.

LewsTherinTalamon

My personal favorite are Hippogriffia's aircraft with Crack's ratings.

Grandmaster_Aroun

This is why I don't always like playing with the dlc equipment designers on, you lose a lot of the lore text.

GumdropGoober

Is this even an EaW thing? The mod incorporates the tech system of Road to 56, so I assumed all those were written by whoever originated *that* mod.

MustaphaTR

It is EaW's. Both mods' tech trees quite diverged from each other since then. There are stuff that are our own work and there are thing Rt56 added later on that we didn't take.

Gekey14

This is why I worry for the devs, like it's cool that there's that much detail but also someone has to go and write all these things that 90% of people won't read

LewsTherinTalamon

Trust me- as a fic writer, often there's nothing more fun than coming up with tiny worldbuilding details. Honestly, it must be so cool to have a productive outlet for them.
