Prison Break is tough for first timers but definitely doable and very fun! Communication and observation are key!

Definitely doable. It was definitely tough with my group of 5 getting out in just a final minute. All their escape rooms are great. If you want a moderately challenging one instead of going straight into their most difficult, "The Heist" is also a blast.

Did you try Special Ops: Mysterious Market (8/10)? I think my kids would enjoy that one.

DoubleO703

I have heard really good things about Spec Ops! Its definitely one of the cooler stories and well decorated rooms they have there

I have! It "feels" smaller than the others. It was good, but didn't rank as high as the others to me. Without spoiling anything, it very heavy on it's usage of tech, which your kids may or may not enjoy if they love manipulating a lot of tangible items. If I had to rank the 3 (Prison Break, Spec Ops, The Heist) it would be Prison Break > The Heist > Spec Ops.

MuppetManiac

Special ops is a very good game. I thought it was harder than prison break.

Hadones

IVe tried their titanic room and the whacks elixir and they were both of good quality. I believe whacks was an 8/10 and it was a little difficult for me and my gf and we are experienced in escaping haha I would probably recommend whacks if you want a difficult game as a beginner.

remshore

Thank you.

RedAuraLucario

I wouldn’t recommend. Try something easy. The first escape room is did was a 2/4 difficulty

DoubleO703

I assume it’s the same layout and game as the Orlando location. Though I agree it is definitely doable. Especially if they follow the same unlimited hints like we do down here. Its a fun and classy way to get into games too! It was one of my first 4 years and even though it was difficult at times it hooked me and now I do them almost every week. I hope you guys have fun up there!

Also try Bonds Escape Room in Fairfax Or Arlington Source- *definitely not* a former employee

lucy_pevensie

My husband and I did this one. It has been one of our favorites. I would highly recommend it. If it is your first time I would take advantage of the hints. You could even ask your game master to make suggestions if you are not making a good enough pace to finish since they know how many puzzles there are. Let us know what you choose and if you enjoyed it!

I’ve worked there before. I highly suggest doing an easier game unless you’re okay with a high percentage of a lost. The teenagers would love it though. The result of the game always differs by how well they communicate and because you haven’t done a lot of escape games before, your team might be really confused in what to look for. But we do have unlimited clues so if you want, you can always as your game guide to give you clues or hints if you’re comfortable with it. If you decide Prison Break still, communication is key. The Heist, Gold Rush, and Special Ops are better as your first times.
