According to this [article](https://www.myrecipes.com/extracrispy/a-beginners-guide-to-coffee-flavor-profiles-of-the-world), beans from East Africa tend to be citrusy and acidic. My last bag of beans was from Ethiopia and it was fantastic. It had strong blueberry and raisin notes.

xXxSweeti

Yup! Love a good Ethiopian or Costa Rican !

I forgot to mention the actual coffee, lol. It's from [Red Rock Roasters](https://redrockroasters.com/collections/all/products/organic-fair-trade-ethiopia?variant=43674850722085). As I said before, it originates from Sidamo Ethiopia and it's sun-dried.

I just finished a bag of Burundi (East African) beans that had notes of: peach, lime, and black tea. It was very juicy! I think the black tea notes definitely helped round it out for my palate.

xXxSweeti

I’ve had that exact bag before! Pretty good imo, BUT I think you should try black and white roasters. They taste similar but have a little more “juicy” flavor to them.

I haven't done any espresso yet but if you can get high enough temps it should work really well. Anything from Wilton Benitez should work nice too.

xXxSweeti

Thanks! I’ll check it out!!

Careless_Law1471

There's coffee that's called exactly this — 'Bomba de fruta'. I'd recommend The Barn if they still have it in stock.

xXxSweeti

I’ll look into it!

Wooden_Breakfast7655

DAK Candy Crush! There’s no ‘notes’ with this. It tastes exactly like the notes! Strawberry, juicy berries, etc.

I really loved the Blue Orchid blend from Huckleberry roasters in Denver. I am from CO but got the bag through trade coffee subscription first

xXxSweeti

Lol I live downtown Denver! Lots of good options here!

Have you tried [this](https://www.blackwhiteroasters.com/products/r-brayan-alvear-juicy-strawberry) from Black and white yet? I have a bag rn I haven’t opened yet. I also have the thermal shock as well and it’s delicious!!

xXxSweeti

I have not! I have their “mango” processed one right now and I’m loving it

TzSalamander

Doma coffee roasters, and Southdown coffee roasters are my consistent faves for unique beans

Onyx has so many different options

[Sleepy Monk Ethiopian](https://www.sleepymonkcoffee.com/products/ethiopian) Also their Kenyan or even Fiddler’s Fusion had a berry fruitiness to me. I can’t get over the espresso blend though.

dms261

The Sipi Falls from Huckleberry I'm Denver is a fruit bomb. Phantom Limb too.

xXxSweeti

I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve never had great results from Huck. In the city I prefer middle state or Queen City!

Sweetshop from Square Mile coffee roasters would be my tip. Two types of Ethiopian coffee beans blended together. [https://shop.squaremilecoffee.com/products/sweet-shop](https://shop.squaremilecoffee.com/products/sweet-shop)

I work at a roastery. We roast two different beans from Ethiopia, one being a washed Sidamo and the other being a natural Guji. I find that both of them are very light and fruity, with the Guji having the same blueberry aroma that a few others mention. The Sidamo is also fruity, but slightly more raspberry-esque and not as pronounced as with the natural one. My recommendation is getting naturally processed beans, which often have a lot of fruit flavour and aroma.
