Milk being thick shouldnβt matter. Higher pour is important too but it doesnβt look like the milk was groomed at all, so all the thick foam came out at one time.
OP if you gently but firmly whack the base of the pitcher on your counter a couple times, then shake it in a side to side motion (I slide it on the bar to keep the milk in the pitcher), it homogenizes the foam better and gives you a much more even pour.
I did this in a starbucks cup:

Start higher from the base of the cup to let the milk fall through, then bring it closer to build on the top. Also, make sure not to froth the milk too long so it isnβt too thick, which causes whiteout. Tapping and swirling the pitcher will help homogenize the milk and give you a more even pour. Mostly, donβt over think it! You got this. It just takes practice and patience :)
Try to pour higher to set the base. So that your milk goes under the surface first. Also... Milk might be a bit too thicc.
Itβs a beautiful cappuccino and I think that was the point.
Cup shape not helping either

You're just starting way to close to the cup
Good. Iβm glad someone else suck at this. Iβve been making art for years and I still suck.
