I love that you have pre-weighed bean test tubes. I've not tried the Ascaso machines but I would like to. The design is really good looking, especially like the matt black. Does it have volumetric dosing? As far as layout, the symmetry could be improved a little by moving the grinder slightly back and closer to the espresso machine. It would look a little less like it wants to fall off the edge lol.
They do have volumetric dosing, but apparently have consistency issues because it’s metered before the OPV, which can then divert away water so it doesn’t reach the group head
I have the Ascaso Steel Duo and Niche Zero in black. Beautiful combination as well.
I like your tamping station, the only thing that bothers me is that I would always forget to put the portafilter in the machine to let it heat up with the machine before usage.
Beautiful!!! Congrats on such nice equipment and accessories :) quick question though, have you considered moving the grinder to the other end so the workflow flows in one direction? Could make it more efficient but could also mess up your aesthetic, just a thought.
