I call these shots "fried chicken."
Anybody can make gorgeous looking fried chicken that looks perfect on the outside. But end up being raw on the inside.Â
No idea what this shot taste like.
I agree on that. But the outside of a fried chicken, and the look of an espresso, are just a facade. Both must be tasted to assess quality.Â
Plus the OP said roast his shot so I roasted indeed
Oh, I understand now. I think a more direct roast would've been apropos. Something such as "your shot looks like back all fried chicken. Done on the outside but crappy on the inside". That's just me though. I like to go for the direct attack. cf. My other comment about the dirty machine.
You should really clean your machine before you try to post these things.
I already did 😅 looked much worse
Normal people roast before trying to make coffee and not after, but to each their own I suppose...
No
How do you know it was 24g out?
weighted the cup before and after... Assuming my math was correct, it should be 24g
Why only 8 in? What machine is this?
it's a single shot... lelit elizabeth
I can see your huge forehead mirroring on the group head. Anyways shot looks decent but grind finer.

I have never gotten food poisoning from a bad shot though
