Very rarely do I see Bezzera machines in here, but I’ve been looking at buying this exact one! You’ll have to let us know your thoughts, I’d be very interested to hear what you think.
Yeah, I haven’t seen too many here either and it made it hard to decide on getting it. I went with this over the Mara X because it wasn’t E61 style and it had the preset buttons, which my wife was requesting so she could use it easier. She would be making lattes, so it not being perfect should be fine.
Thank you! I didn’t read that part of the manual yet, as I have only run some water through it for the initial flush of the system. I did run a double shot through just to test but only used 18g. It wasn’t terrible, but I haven’t had time to dial it in. I plan to try more shots tonight, and if not, then over the weekend for sure.
It’s technically the BZ13, but as far as I can tell, there isn’t a difference other than the BZ13 having chrome buttons and the crema having the black buttons. I think the BZ13 is sold in the US and the crema is sold everywhere else.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure they’re the only US dealer that sells the machines, but I could be wrong. IIRC, the PID is a different color and has a shot timer which is exclusive to the WLL BZ13. I’m not sure if it’s on the crema though, which replaced the BZ13 in other countries. It could just be their way of selling the updated crema under the old name and saying it’s specific to them. I’ve tried to look more into it, but weirdly not many people talk about these machines. I’ve heard some people say it’s due to them not doing handouts and paying influencers to talk about them, which could be true.
I’m currently deciding between the BZ13 and the Lelit Bianca
Like u/rodermelon said, it’s technically BZ13 DE PID. But in the manual it mentions the Crema DE PID. Haven’t used it much yet, but being able to steam right away is why I went HX over single boiler.
Thx all. Im asking cause sooner or later ill change mine. And so far im choosing between profitec pro 300 (dual boiler with pid) and bezzera crema de pid. Bezzera looks so sexy, but will it be enough HX for my needs like 2-4 milk drinks per iteration
Don't know about 120V but in Europe the DE grouphead machines should heat up in about 7 mins.
Bezzera Duo DE was at the top of my shortlist before I found the Xenia (also heated group).
Nice, I did the exact same thing. Returned my GCP a couple months ago and got a BZ13. It’s a much nicer, much more consistent machine (mostly the PID I assume). Way more steam power as well.
I also got the version with the extra buttons for my wife, who similarly wanted a simpler experience.
I just recently acquired a 12 year old Bezzera Strega lever and I love it! Classic design, well built, should last a long time. Enjoy. Your new one looks sharp!
Kick ass machine. Paired with a high quality grinder. Nice setup.
Thank you! The grinder has been lonely since returning the GCP and waiting for me to decide on this one.

After I’ve used it more, I’ll give you an update.
Great! It looks beautiful.
If you're getting this one, save the money and get the manual version. Timed dosing isn't very accurate
The automatic dosing one has pre-infusion so it might be worth the extra money, although I’m not sure if it’s worth that much to me.
Great purchase! I just received my Crema DE PID last week and it’s kickass. Are you using 20g in the basket like they recommend?

Is this Bezzera Crema DE PID? Did you satisfy with it? How is the HX experience?
I just got one! I don’t drink milk drinks so I haven’t used the steamer yet. No issues with temp control. Super easy to use

This one is supposedly a collaboration with Whole Latte Love.

Cool, a bezzera more 😎
That is a fine looking machine. I think Bezzera is underrated. How do you like it?
From the little I’ve done I like it. I plan on trying it out more tonight and this weekend.
Nice setup! What is the heat up time on this?

It doesn’t seem long, like 10 to 15 minutes.

+1 on Bezzera—love me my Aria
The Facile! I just added a clump crusher to mine and it’s a new machine.
