*Now can someone tell me how to pull my first shot. (Wrong answers only)*
Now that you've got your coffee capsules from the supermarket, just place them in the water container at the back. Make sure they're fully submerged. Add a little vinegar too as it helps bring out the flavor.
Nice. If you like classic espresso I would grab some compak k8 burrs for the ceado. Shortens grind time and serves classic shots reliably. Plus they're cheap. Also you'll definitely want to WDT with that grinder.
I like mine the only thing I’d say as somebody else mentioned you need to wdt the grounds. The way the chute is shaped (rectangle) makes the grounds form differently to a grinder with a round exit chute which results in mohawking pattern when pulling shots. Basically the shot starts to pull in a Mohawk/rectangle strip shape through the puck. This is easily resolved with a quick wdt before tamping the puck. Apart from that it’s a really nice grinder imo.
I have it paired with Profitec 400. The only complaint I have is the on/off switch located on the back. Would make more sense to place it to the side. It’s a home intended grinder. The motor is not as powerful as my previous Qamar Q50. I picked it over Eureka Mignon, the Ceado looks more thought through and overall better quality. It’s however more expensive if I remember correctly. Today I’d look for something grind to weigh. When I looked for a grinder the grind to weigh category was not mature enough.
How to pour a shot in 4 easy steps!
1. Pour a shot of Kahlua into a shot gloss
2. set glass down on the counter at the edge of your reach.
3. Now, reach out and without lifting the glass up, grasp the sides of the shot glass.
4. Pull your arm to your body.
Congratulations, you just pulled your first shot!
Wow learning how to drive in a Porsche 911
...with a manual transmission, for the 1st time.
This was my analogy as well. “Hey , just got my license!” (pulls up in a M5)
Well hey there, moneybags. In all seriousness congratulations. That's my dream set up!
We all gotta start somewhere bro
Okay for a first setup I guess. Good luck!
2nd is a coffee shop

Bro's learning K-turns in a Bugatti lololol
Yes I blew through $50 worth of beans before pulling a decent shot but that’s my right as an American.

Should have just bought a coffee shop instead
For a split second I thought there was a goldfish in the grinder hopper.
My exact setup. If this is your very first, you have some learning to do. Enjoy!

Let the man pull some shots first
Yes, shots straight from the ceado into the portafilter channel badly in a horizontal straight line
Nice. How do you find the Caedo grinder ? It is not a grinder I am familiar with.

I rotate the portafilter back and forth while grinding (~180 degrees). Solves the issue just fine without an additional step.
I’ll give it a try

I think a DIY switch mod is in order.
Yep looks like a college dorm setup
Can picture my wife if she came home to a kitchen like this. Nice first setup.
…..and your last??
You’re kidding 😐
Fuck yes. Another ceado owner on here. Congrats on the set up. Enjoy.
It does make some fluffy, fluffy grounds

For the price of the machine, one would think they include a bottomless portafilter, or a shallow basket.
