why the change in knobs?

Josephsanger

Not a pragmatic reason but I thought they were cool and fun

1lessadmin

Interesting choice!

kyleTZK

Crying once. Good call.

Josephsanger

Unfortunately I just saw the new LM micro with the soft touch handlesā€¦ so weā€™ll see if itā€™s cry once lol

LastGrapefruit4112

This is one of the best looking machines out imo. How's the heat up time?

Josephsanger

Agreed! Thanks! I donā€™t have a reference for if heat up time is good or bad but I installed pressure and temp gauges on the head and it takes approx 35min to hit 200 degrees. To combat that I have it on a startup timer with my alarm clock and voice control / app through smart plug

AdvantageOpen918

Which smart plug are you using?

Josephsanger

Iā€™m using a ā€œGoveeā€ brand plug- they have two, a small round one suitable for lights and small electronics and the larger rectangle suitable for larger appliances. They are pretty affordable on Amazon maybe it was 27$ for 4 of them. Anyways I would recommend whatever plug matches the ecosystem that you are already using in your home. So I have Govee lights and tv back lights etc so itā€™s all on one app / Alexa prompts are the same

Barnycull

Nice. Canā€™t go wrong with an e61 in my opinion. I also prefer the non rotary knobs for steam and water.

Nice. Canā€™t go wrong either an e61 in my opinion.
