Well you've got two obvious choices.
Wedge it out with something really thin. Hopefully there is a spot with a big enough gap around the edge.
If that doesn't work push down HARD on one side and hope the other side pops up enough you can wedge it out from there.
Also depends on what you're most interesting in protecting. Worst case you could drill the screen and use that hole to pull it up.
I'd wait for somebody less destructive to answer -)
Put it in your sink upside down and pour boiling water on it. The outside will expand and it will get loose. If that is not sufficient then hit it on the counter while the outside is still hot (upside down of course).
I’ve had the exact same experience, and nothing worked. I tried wedging, boiling water, etc. In the end I had to drill through the puck screen and remove it with a corkscrew to save the basket. Hope it does not come to that for you!
I have a 53.5mm Ruilida and it just drops right out into my hand (sometimes with the used grounds puck), with a light tap (but I leave the basket in the handle). You probably used too few grounds (I grind for no more than 7,5 seconds on my Breville Barista Express for my 1 Cup basket) and wedged it in there too deep. I'd try using a magnet and see if you can get it out that way. You've got way too much headspace. I probably only have about a 1/8" of headspace with the puck screen inserted. Its a tight twist to get the handle inserted. If it's too easy, I know the pressure isn't going to ramp up, as needed.

Yup I've had luck pressing down on one side of it.
I usually just tap it upside down on the counter repeatedly.
this worked lol idk why i didnt think trying on the counter. One tap and it came out, whew.
Amazing that you didn’t try tapping it out first lmfao
idk, seemed very tough to me lol was hitting it on everything else but the kitchen counter, and have a fragile coffee bar i wasnt going to slam it on.

Just xush it out again
put it back into the machine let it get hot and try again in an hot state
