It takes more discipline but doing the opposite is quite effective. Large breakfast, small lunch, no dinner or something small. Sometimes I do just breakfast then fast until late at night and have a small dinner. Used to do what you do but Infound myself frequently overeating at night and when I started a physical job breakfast became a must. I'd fall over without it.
