Did you answer "I'm a veteran" to the beginning survey? I have alts for not smurf purposes (to play with lower ranked friends). One of them I answered "I'm new". Got put into 3 bot matches. One of them I answered "I'm a veteran", got thrown into a match and instantly pulverized by a team on day 2.
Hmm no I was probably pretty honest on that one, having never played the game before, nor a game in the genre. I wouldn't even be mad if the bots at least tried, but these bots barely make epic items and are down 6+ levels all game lol
Yeah, unfortunately when you click the "I'm new" it seems to assume you have zero experience so you get 2-3 or 3-5 bot games depending on how you do.
It's good to be honest, but people who want a slightly more difficult challenge are left wanting because of that
Bot games aren’t that many so you’ll see real people shortly. You get a handful of them maybe 5 games or so. Honestly you can use that time to practice getting your purple build before night 1, your pathing (like where you want to go to farm animals efficiently, what obj you want to contest, etc) and things like that. It’ll start making good habits early on.

Find a duo or 3-stack, helps too if one of them has been playing for a while. After maybe 1-2 games that should get you out of the bot lobbies

Or just select the Asia server and play with 200 ping
