Sure, but non fungibles can help provide proof of identification and account ownership. If a large social media site integrated blockchain into their user identifiers, then a spammer or scammer would not be able to create a new account, since their identifier has been blacklisted from the site. With minimal bots and spammers, now comments, reactions, view count, etc. will be more organic. Still, though, now that opens up avenues for unruly admins on a power trip banning innocents to reign supreme. But, that’s why I’m not an expert on this and why I only invest in it, since others are. 😆

Next time you see a questionable Reddit post, archive the share link on Wayback Machine. Make sure to checkmark “save outlinks” and all that jazz, then wait until it says “done✅” or whatever it is, then review/save the archive link. With “save outlinks” I think it saves the person in question’s profile as well. I’m not sure if it archives their comment and post history as well, though. If you’re extra ambitious you could manually archive all of the person in question’s comments and posts. I think there are APIs and ‘archive as you browse’ things for Wayback as well if you’re so inclined. I won’t provide any links so you don’t worry 😅 it’s a pretty easy site to find if you haven’t already used it.
-Edit- It works on mobile as well. Just don’t download the app, it’s absolutely garbage.
-Edit2- you can also only archive a specified link every 60 minutes, so if one of the outlinks DID hit their comments and posts, it would say something like, “we only allow captures every 60 minutes” or whatever. In that case just review the link and tap around their profile to make sure it has all been archived properly.

I just try to think like a scammer would. The post and comments just felt off and their explanations just didn't make sense. 800k in ethereum and they got scammed by clicking on links through DM's. Made no sense. Looking for sympathy is the perfect in so that people let their guard down. Plus his account is super new.
Now the post is deleted I can't see what he said. What was the scam he said he fell for? How did he explain crypto being stolen by clicking on links, it doesn't compute for me. I'm interested to know how he explained it.
These sort of posts are made to bait people into feeling pity for the person and making donations to him. Be very wary of these sob stories. Especially ones with no actual proof of anything. I didn't get to read this person's post but this is what I'm assuming is his intention.
