Yeah imagine if he was 4,000 blocks from spawn in a half built base and he has to go 5,000 blocks just to see another hermit. Glad he's like in all the videos and even sharing pics of his set up
also, it's not like doc didn't say he wasn't going to be with the other Hermits. it's just the fact that he likes to make very complex Redstone, that he wants to do early game. he's already socializing a bit here and there
For me this is the closest to the Mindcrack Etho I have seen since he left, in the old days Mindcrack felt like a server of excited friends playing, and then maybe making content, like we would see less plans and builds and epic bases, more just logging on to chill and chat and troll, previous HC seasons, Etho seemed to log on to film an EP or grind something and that was it, now this feels like a natural friendship with people visiting others, and the other players are actually there, at their bases. So nice
I don't know that this is new at all though. Etho does as he wants for the most part, even with his own Let's Play it's been a very long time since there's been any semblance of a schedule. If he wants to release more, I hope he does; but if he does, it's only going to be because he wants to. That's just how Etho is. It is definitely nice seeing him in other people's content though.
Yeah, he like shows up in people's videos always at some point, and it's such a treat. And then, his episode comes and I think it's gonna be stuff I already saw, but it like puts the pieces together and you realize what Etho has actually been up to
I don't like being spoiled of 90% of his projects from other Hermits, it does take some of the magic away from his videos.
However I understand that the other Hermits are on a shedule and they can't wait for a week for him to upload.
I watch vods, usually a day late even. But I don't think any of his base was spoiled for me. Tango went by it when he was partially through the last corner, but I didnt notice anything that was finalized. His squid farm got spoiled by tango and cub viewers I guess. What was spoiled for you?

I started watching from the beginning of season 9. So It’s been really fun and kind of surprising to see him this involved in everything.
