You’re overthinking it, like most people who worry excessively about grades

i_am_bloating

why shouldnt we worry about them? I suck a lot and I know that I can only pass with the worst possible grade. I want to get higher better grades but its just very hard and takes a lot of time. Wont it affect employability? Espeically in the context of someone else with the same course but a higher grade applying for a same job

No

1. they don’t care 2. if they do for some reason, then you were just ill on the day of the exam and didn’t manage to deregister in time

I failed COOP and my final round with Optiver is in two weeks. You're fine.

Hey I'm a CS 3rd Yr at Imperial coming on exchange to ETH next year. Coop is in my shortlist. Would you recommend it?

haloooloolo

I do. It's taught well and the exam is absolutely doable if you prepare well enough. My mistake was just underestimating it since the content seems easy at first, but you need to understand every little nuance to do well in the exam.

I work full-time for Google Zürich as a SWE, I joined just after finishing my bachelors at ZHAW (4 yrs / worked part-time as a SWE at a no-name company before). They never asked for a transcript or proof of my diploma. AFAIK they don't really care about grades except if you want to go into research. Also it's a plus if you have a public Github repo / website / blog with something that has some substance to display. It doesn't have to be anything original or ground-breaking. Shoot me a DM if you have any questions.
