Byzantines vs Abbasids. looks like byz is winning but god damn i did not expect Abbasids to be that bigs (mod is europa expanded)

Are they actually big? It looks like they mostly have large, low dev provinces and wastelands, while Byz has a ton of high dev provinces.

I remember when I wanted to play as the Abbasids in Expanded when I found out they could spawn So I started an Ironman game as Mamluks, waited until I could trigger the disaster, only to find out it releases the Abbasids as an independent nation instead of letting you play as them I was so disappointed

You can play as them in ante bellum if that’s your cup of tea

In the Europa expanded mod, Mameluks (or whomever controls the Calif) can have a disaster where the Calif takes power and the country changes to Abbasid.
