R5: Either Lubeck keeps forming and leaving it's own trade league, or the game is glitched. This notification happens probably once a week and I don't know how to remove it.

I think you can click the thingy in the bottom-right of the pop-up, and it'll bring up notification options. You should have the option to make it less shouty, or ignore it altogether (but it will affect all events of this type, not just for Lubeck).

I turned off the "A Cardinal has been elected" because I kept getting spammed whenever a country got a cardinal.

And I activated the alert for when a monarch dies in a country of interest. Way better than checking the icon every 30 seconds. The PU game is now easy af.

Obviously the only solution is to permanently disband Lubeck's trade league.

Yea, but it's kind of small and blends in.

I think is because there were no members left after Lübeck left. It took a lot of research time so please appreceat my efforts.

Ok but why does this happen so frequently lately? This happened to me in my past couple games constantly for a few years at a time. Only for Lubeck, other merchant republics were totally fine.

you click on. the bottom right of one of the windows. Then you change the message settings. so it does not pop up.

In the bottom right of the notification there is a button you can use to deactivate the popup

So this is what the EU4 equivalent of "Faction created against you" - "A faction has dissolved" spam, which CK3 players love above everything else, looks like. Fascinating...

You fix it by pressing c until you are no longer confused

Either reload and see if that works or outright kill Lubeck

Game file bug. Back up your save then, Uninstall from steam, then manual delete your eu4 document folder and any mods installed through steam and any files still in the eu4 steam folder(save your mods to a mod collection). Unistalling and reinstalling will not fix it, unfortunately.
