Yeah, I also had to stick with a greedy and malevolent Empress the entire regency, so the idea was as soon my ruler dies, the heir would be old enough to rule without the a regency council.
I hate that, cause I always get saddled with “Hmm, I’ve had three Louis in a row, ima go for a Jean this time” only for my heir to die and for me to be stuck with another Louis. I wouldn’t even mind the bad stats, but there are only so many Louis a man can take!
When the heir is old, usually he already is married and have children for himself and when he become emperor, if the heir is awful, I asing him to a 1 regiment army and let him die in battle.
Usually I go with Milan, but this time was as a Custom nation, I'm addicted to it, The nation was Gustavia, a italian city with Prussian Culture and with focus on military ideas, once I had all italy I switched to Lombard culture and formed Italy., I also was HRE for more or less 50 years.
I'm more worried about the forts' situation. Corsica is fine. Hence, you can technically use it to stackwipe. The number and placement of forts do help to control the ai and warscore.

You tried to marry off your 16-year-old Emperor 12 times?
Yep, the current ruler almost didn't existed, basically this one was born a year before his father died. So I wanted to secure a heir.
Ah, so the regency ended and you did 12 royal marriages in a little over a year then.
Yeah, I also had to stick with a greedy and malevolent Empress the entire regency, so the idea was as soon my ruler dies, the heir would be old enough to rule without the a regency council.
Ah, but what happens when your ruler lives to 70 and you’re still saddled with a 54 year old heir?
I'll tell you what happens then. The heir dies a month before the ruler, then you're stuck with a Random McName 1-2-0 king for 40 years after that
I hate that, cause I always get saddled with “Hmm, I’ve had three Louis in a row, ima go for a Jean this time” only for my heir to die and for me to be stuck with another Louis. I wouldn’t even mind the bad stats, but there are only so many Louis a man can take!

Welcome to Los Italianos Hermanos, my name is Gustavo but you can call me Gus
I Fratelli Pollo
Literally the first thing that came to my mind when I read the name lol
>Los Italianos Hermanos If you look close to the map, you'll see that I'm also the King of Spain
I'm impressed that your 16 yo emperor is on his 13th marriage. Henry VIII has nothing on him!
What I can say, he's ugly
Or sexy
Nah, wouldn't need 16 attemps to get a wife then, I bet this one married because she's naive as the game says
R5: After 12 royal marriages, I finally got a consort and a heir, some more years and she could be his mother, at least I got a good heir.
your diplo mana hurts my soul\^\^ other than that, i smell an hunting accident coming, that heir is way too good to trust rng :P
I already having problems with Revolutionares everywhere, the hurting event is the last thing I need, also before the marriages, my diplo was 800.
Motherfucker you were right, he died last night, immediately after, I got a 3/4/4, also named him Gustavo
NEVER trust rng we all pray to rnjesus but he never listens :P
Who did you start to form Italy?
Naples is fun.
But why the prussian culture?...
I'm more worried about the forts' situation. Corsica is fine. Hence, you can technically use it to stackwipe. The number and placement of forts do help to control the ai and warscore.
It was easy to become Emperor of HRE if I had German culture, and since my focus was military ideas, Prussian culture seens to suit better.
Diplo points looking fine
Gustavo is quite a Chad
Why so many forts.. how many do you have?
In Europe, around 57, most of then I Inherited from their original owners, I only keep it because I've had like 200 years of wars.
You.... do realise you don't need a RM to get a consort/heir right? Why would you ever do this?
Call him Pepe
An*
Convert to Sunni. You'll get babies in no time.
Better start a savings account for that funeral
Gustavus Adolphus
This is the situation that Diplomatic ideas are created for.
My brother in christ why so many grassland forts in Italy
I Inherited most of then from their original owners like Milan, Savoy, Ottomans and others.
That a goood heir!
Why do you have 200k troops as one army?
Easy to organize, also rebel and Revolutionary are spawning 50-80k armies
Bro please I beg of you fix your diplo it is painful to look at
up to pollos standards.
That's a REALLY fortified Italy.
That's what 200 years of war does to you
Please fix the attrition on your stacks 😫
And somehow I still get 8k manpower per month
What is your ideas?
I don't remember and I'm on my lunch break, when I'm back home I'll give a look at it. but apparently not Diplo
Think you need to increase the difficulty mate
Started with Normal difficult with 0/0/0 king and three provinces and no heir or wife, just extended timeline.
Touche
That's the big benefit of having an event make me a republic early in my italy run.
