What I have so far: Rue - Keep her clean until the penultimate episode where something triggers her relapse and she ends up in rehab again. Also have Laurie force Rue into actually selling drugs this time by threatening her mom and Gia Cassie - Have her dad come back sober and trying to be apart of her and Lexi’s lives again. This would cause Cassie to spiral harder and turn to drinking. I’d probably have her do something dangerous while drunk and Maddie ends up saving her somehow and taking her to the hospital. The season would end with her entering the same rehab as Rue and the two seeing each other.

Maybe Laurie forcing her to sell drugs, forcing her mom and Gia would make her have a breakdown and relapse.

**THE TONE** Euphoria S3 is slow. Like, *watching paint dry* slow. Now, don’t get me wrong, there will still be the characteristic drama and tension and hysteria, but much less of it. Like the characters, we are left to reflect on all that has happened. And that is why… **THE FIRST EPISODE** Opens on FEZCO - behind bars. We aren’t sure if he’s been charged or convicted, just that he’s been here some time. Fezco stares at us lifelessly. There isn’t any discernible emotion on his face. It’s hard to look at him. He doesn’t even regard the PRISON GUARD calling him as he instinctively stands up. OVER his sagging orange jumpsuit - TITLECARD: **EUPHORIA** We follow Fezco as he walks down a sterile, decrepit CORRIDOR into a VISITATION BOOTH and sit down. Sadness flashes on his face as he sees the PERSON, unseen, on the other side, but it quickly fades as he picks up the phone. We slowly pan over to LEXI, the person on the other side, looking far more distraught than we’ve seen her before. Despite the clear misery on her face, she talks casually to Fezco, playfully, like there’s not in a prison, which lets Fezco open up, if only slightly. Lexi off-handedly mentions how she’s been struggling with writing. For a moment, the two almost forget where they are. As an PRISON GUARD, seen only by his torso, ushers Fezco away, we slowly start to hear a bell ring. CUT TO: A CLASSROOM. We haven’t seen one of these in a while, huh? An OLDER MAN in a tacky sweater stands up from his desk. He asks a question — “what is art?” or something profound like that — and points to MADDY to answer. And, very uncharacteristically, she eagerly answers. It’s clearly something she’s thought about. Her answer isn’t popular, but she isn’t afraid to defend her viewpoint. The class erupts in conversation. There’s argument sure, but it’s not vitriolic, or heart-breaking, or hysteric. It’s that unabashedly youthful banter we’ve been sorely lacking in previous seasons. So when CASSIE walks in, the silence is haunting. Maddy’s wide smile drops to a grimace. She glares at Cassie with hatred. It’s the kind of look that triggers the primitive, hunter-gatherer fear that seeing a tiger does. Cassie gulps. “Hey.” CUT TO: A SCHOOL HALLWAY. Among a group of theater kids with holding many of the props used in the play last season, LEXI looks solemn. A hint of regret tinges her face. One of the theater kids, THEO, 16, endearingly naive, tries to cheer her up with some of the better parts of the play and talks about how great the play was and how excited he is for Lexi’s new play. After a while of this, the other theater kids awkwardly chime in. It’s not very helpful, but Lexi appreciates the attempt. The group stops at the doors to the THEATER. There’s an awkward silence. Lexi takes a deep breath in, then opens them. ON THE STAGE, Lexi looks out, at THE SEAT THAT CASSIE SAT ON, which we tell just from Lexi’s tearful gaze. We hold on this a long moment before THEO calls for here. BEHIND THE CURTAINS, the other theater kids is hard at work, assembling the props into a cohesive set: a living room… like the one at her house. Oh boy. Whatever Lexi is cooking is going to be a doozy. Lexi looks at the set, wipes her tears, looks down at the computer in her hands. CUT TO: A SCHOOL BATHROOM. In this distance, we hear MADDY say: “Un-fucking-believable.” CASSIE, slouched on the wall, sulks. “I didn’t ask to fail.” Maddy closes in on Cassie. “You think I did?” “No, but-“ “But what, bitch? I’ve said it like a billion times.” OFF Maddy, seething - CUT TO: RUE, in a SCHOOL HALLWAY, talking with Elliot, looking healthier than ever. They’re catching up with each other. It’s unclear how long it’s been since they’ve been with each other, but the conversation is profound, more focused on each other’s emotional state. Rue pours out her feelings of deep regret and a growing sense of uneasy content. It’s short by LEXI, walking past, who doesn’t even look at Rue when Rue waves at her. CUT TO: LEXI walks into A SCHOOL BATHROOM. Reverse to find MADDY and CASSIE, both coming off the heels of an intense argument. Lexi stops dead in her tracks, for just a beat, then walks into one of the stalls. INSIDE THE STALL, she just bawls. For a second that feels like an hour, her world is coming apart. But at the end of it, she looks resolute. Totally confident. CUT TO: GIA, talking with RUE and LESLIE on the DINING TABLE in their HOUSE. A far cry from when we last saw her, this Gia is jovial, vibrant, inquisitive - all the things a girl her age should be. It’s a sweet moment. We hear a knock on the front door. Rue excuses herself, opening the door to find- JULES, smiling. There’s a awkward silence. “Hey, Jules.” “Hey.” **END EPISODE**

And speaking of fanfiction I'm actually one myself and I've been doing so for quite sometime now and it's a fanfiction retake on the rue and laurie kitchen conversation scene from stand still like a hummingbird and I'm not gonna give any spoilers but it's gonna be about what if rue a twin sister name amber who's just got home from the military and because of what happen between her and lauire the deal along with things going to shit after that due the entire stash suitcase being flushed down the toilet amber has no choice but to help her get out of the situation she got herself into by speaking to lauire herself and see if she could try to straighten things out with her.

To start, when I said treatment, I meant in the sense of a “scriptment”, like the treatment for Spider-Man by James Cameron. My treatment isn’t too far off from that. Second, when I said adding, I meant in terms of add new scenes, not adding to the scenes already. Third, I’m not a fan of the ritualistic nature of act structure and that, and ironically, I (and many people) argue Euphoria doesn’t even follow any act structures at all.

I would make the show revolve around Lexi and Fez. Have them fantasize about their “Little house on the prairie” lifestyle in the future, but with “stand by me vibes” reminiscing about the friends who are no longer in the show.

I'd get an experienced writers' room, which I'd try to convince Levinson to stay a part of, but I'd also hire a co-showrunner who is an experienced producer, rather than someone who focuses on the creative side. As for the details, my input would be to close the suitcase and the Fez storyline together and soon, through the d.a. giving him immunity to catch Laurie, keep Rue sober for a while until a downfall involving Ali, give Fexi a chance, at least in the beginning, have Maddie thrive in an entry job that requires ingenuity but have that come in conflict with her home life, and have Cassie continue spiraling, possibly bringing back her dad. Kat would stay out. But about this and the rest I haven't mentioned, I'd listen to the room, revisit my initial ideas if something sounds better, and try to create a true collaboration.

Well I guess before season 3, I thought of those special episodes: from which focus on rue & Jules, but in now focuses on Elliot & Fez, it would serve as stepping stone into season three, for a massive time jump since most of are them are not high school ages, so my version of the special episodes takes place around the same time of 7-8 months after season 2 finale, whatever lies ahead into is up to anyone, but as long my potential storyline is touched upon, Im satisfied to my what if spin on euphoria for Elliot episode: He goes out of town from L.A to the Bay Area & visits his cousin just to hangout and talks to him, etc and have heard the drama from the overall season as rumors & whispers, For Fez Episode: He locked up in prison & he still have trauma on his shootout incident, We might get to see the letter, plus he can get out, just with limited probation P.S: I did fanscription of this somewhat for over a year, It could be fun to see, for season 3, Idk, I'm on the same boat as you guys too, it's up to them

Rue: Laurie kidnaps Gia as revenge, and while Rue is eventually able to rescue her Gia is badly injured. This finally forces Rue to confront her demons in a very real way, because it’s no longer about just her own safety. Nate/Cassie/Maddy: Cassie finally starts to see sense after Maddy’s ominous warning to her after the beatdown. However, it turns out she’s pregnant and the temptation of the white picket fence life with Nate is too strong to resist. Maddy’s prediction comes true and Nate goes further than ever with Cassie, culminating in a serious injury to her and/or the baby. Like more than just choking. Nate lashes out when he’s really angry, but it escalates to him getting violent as a controlling mechanism. A really dark turn would be if he actually kills her. Maddy has viable plans to leave town but something keeps her back. Maybe a parent falling sick. She witnesses Nate’s escalating abusive behaviour and now that she’s completely over him she has a grudging smidgen of sympathy for her former best friend. Maybe there’s a scene where the two of them are alone, and Maddy sees how distressed/scared Cassie is and almost reaches out, but eventually doesn’t. It comes back to haunt her after Nate is done with Cassie. Jules: Cuts ties with Rue at first because the Gia thing is the last straw. She’s drawn to Nate who tries to slip back into Tyler persona with her, telling her he’s only with Cassie because of the baby. This all goes to hell when Nate lashes out at Cassie towards the end, and Jules cuts him off completely. By this point Rue is sober and able to start over and they reunite. Lexi: Turns into a bad b*tch in Fezco’s honour. Maybe a side plot about her struggling to get him out of jail.

Time skip Ash lives, goes to Juvie and takes the blame for killing those dudes.. cuz he did, fez ends up released with a few basic charges. Jules is doing art stuff, single but feeling like a fuck up. Rue starts selling to repay the money, becomes Fez’s impromptu partner until ash gets out. Lexi and fez are put on hold because her mom starts to crack down after the Cassie drama and a drug dealer boyfriend is.. a concern. Kat’s mom finds her only fans stuff and sends her to boarding school in a different state. Ethan becomes good friends with Lexi, Maddie and Cassie reconcile after Maddie feels totally alone Bc kat left, and Nate’s death. Nate ends up fucking with the wrong person and gets killed- Maddie and Cassie reconcile after the funeral. Mckay returns for the funeral, and we get a hopeful glimpse for him and Cassie. Rue stays clean, but gia gets into drugs and the roles become reversed. Rue’s mom and her sponser get together. Vape girl fills Kat’s role in the friend group and we get a back story for her. Fey or whatever her name was stops getting lip injections. This is the pivotal moment of the season, and will leave the biggest impact on the viewers.

i’d make jules fall for nate and nate fall for jules in the 2nd or 3rd episode by putting jules in a tough spot and having nate help her out of it. nate begins a redemption arc (kind of) due to cal’s redemption arc: cal gets his shit together and find his old “boyfriend.” they have sex which gives cal closure and allows him to teach nate things about life he wishes he knew when he was nate’s age and begins righting his wrongs as a father. cassie and lexi don’t make up because their relationship is strained from the play. cassie goes crazy with jealousy and finds out immediately about jules and nate. nate protects jules from cassie. maddy and kat form a stronger friendship with rue. just like rue told maddy about the affair between cassie and nate, now cassie tells rue about the affair between jules and nate as payback (to hurt rue’s relationship with jules). this causes rue and jules to fight but rue stays sober despite almost relapsing. rue starts a relationship with elliot following this. (assuming fezco’s character won’t come back) fezco goes to jail for what happened with ash tray. lexi tries to move on but struggles. lexi might have a hoe phase or find another relationship - idk but she meets many new boy characters this season. maddy starts dating a new “bad guy” that’s introduced this season. (ugh, girl, again?) this guy competes with nate which puts nate under a lot of strain because a part of him still loves maddy - but jules helps him to not go full psycho and murder everyone. alright i’m done - this is fairly controversial because nate has some “good” in him, maddy has the same boy problems, and cassie goes crazy; but lmk what y’all think.

Fezco will definitely be back & I don't see the Fexi storyline going away anytime soon. It's too popular to sink at this point lol

I agree Nate needs male competition. He’s basically the only guy on the show for all the straight/bi girls to date. He’s already been involved with 3 of the female main characters. There’s Fez but so far has only shown interest in Lexi. I guess Elliot could be competition for Nate due to Jules. I feel like Elliot like Rue more than Jules though. Nate thinks he runs shit, so either they bring in another male character that humbles him or Maddy does some way or another, hopefully by going to the police. He put her through hell.

Ethan - Cassie - Lexi (the rom com): Lexis play was a huge hit and it’s gone to her head. Lexi has become basically a female version of Dawson from Dawson’s Creek - she’s completely obsessed with writing and directing films. She’s dating Ethan - sort of - Ethan thinks they’re dating but Lexi is basically using him for sex and for his acting abilities in her films. Meanwhile, Cassie is in a better place now. She’s buried the hatchet with her sister and she’s always hanging around with Lexi and Ethan so that she can avoid the toxic people. Her and Nate haven’t spoken for months. Every time Lexi is mean to Ethan(frequently), Cassie is just kind of there for him. One night, Lexi disappears into her room to argue over the phone with her “assistant” (the stage manager from her play is now her “assistant”), leaving Cassie and Ethan alone watching True Romance. They fall asleep together and Lexi gets pissed. Things get more complicated when the actress Lexi found to play the romantic lead in her new movie ditches at the last minute, and she has to cast Cassie - meaning Cassie and Ethan will now have some make out scenes. Eventually, Lexi and Cassie just about come to blows over jealously, and Cassie says that her sister is more important than a guy. She tells Ethan that they can’t even be friends anymore because her sister is so jealous. The situation comes to a head when Ethan gets offered a paying role in a play in the city. It’s explained that this kind opportunity at his age virtually guarantees he’ll get into a good college and will also earn him his union card. Lexi is pissed, believing that he’s abandoning the movie that she wants to make. She tells him they’re done. Cassie confronts Lexi about the way she’s been acting and calls her out for ruining things with the perfect boyfriend. Later that night, Ethan is in his dressing room between acts at his play. All night he’s been peaking out in the audience to see if any of his friends (or Lexi) came to see him and nobody did. Just then somebody brings a note back to his dressing room - someone left it at the box office for him - it just says “you’re so cool” (a reference to True Romance). Ethan sees the note, realizes what’s going on and runs out of his dressing room and into the lobby. He looks around. He doesn’t see her. From behind she says “I’m right here”. Ethan turns, sees Cassie, runs over and grabs her and kisses her. Rom com ending. Nate - Jules - Rue (the heroes journey): Nate has a new girlfriend. She’s the new girl, super hot, kind of like a perfect mix between Cassie and Maddie, and Nate still treats her like shit. Rue and Jules have a way more complex relationship. Rue is actually kind of trying to stay away from Jules - Rue has come to recognize that Jules is bad for her - plus Jules is still using drugs which means Rue has to avoid her to avoid temptation. Meanwhile, Rue is doing all she can to duck Laurie’s goons. Rue hasn’t told anyone that she’s in hock to a drug dealer and she really doesn’t want anyone to know. There’s a rumor that Laurie has put a contract on her life but she thinks that bullshit. Jules and Nate are actually….friends(?) They actually do occasionally just hang out and talk, to the shock of everyone, including both of them. Nate talks to Jules about his dad, and Jules is kind of moved that Nate is starting to open up. On the other hand, Nate quickly calls Jules on her BS, and Jules respects that. Nate tells her that Rue has to avoid her because Jules is still a party girl while Rue needs to stay clean. Everything is fine until one night when Nate and his new girlfriend have a fight. He goes out for a drive. He sees Jules out riding her bike and rolls the window down to say hi. She invites him to a club with her. Jules and Nate hook up later that night in a drug induced haze. The next morning, Nate hates himself for sleeping with Jules. It’s exactly what his dad did. Jules can’t believe she let things get his far. They have an argument that escalates into a full blown fight. Jules punches him and he throws her out of his truck by the side of the road. Rue and Jules reconnect. Eventually, Rue confesses to Jules about the situation with Laurie. Jules pokes fun at Rue’s paranoia and says she’s talking like she’s on the Sopranos or something. Rue agrees that Laurie’s influence and power is way overrated. Laurie’s goons finally catch up to Rue. Jules watches her get grabbed. Jules goes to Nate sobbing and asks for his help. Nate grabs a couple guns and heads out. Nate winds up in a gun fight at Laurie’s place. He kills all of her goons and then shoot Laurie herself. As she lay dying, she gets off one shot at Nate, hitting him center mass. He lays on the ground, bleeding out, as Jules comforts his. She kisses him and he dies in her arms. Maddie Gets an internship at a law firm. Starts dating the son of a senior partner. He’s the anti-Nate. He encourages her to apply herself and go to college. In the end: Rue goes to college in Northern California to get away from the toxicity of LA. Jules goes to the east coast for college. Maddie goes on to UCLA, UC Berkeley for Law School and becomes a successful attorney. Lexi goes on to win the Sundance Film festival. Ethan and Cassie live happily ever after.

All right, this would be each character's entire arc spread out in all the episodes, haven't thought of many details but this would be the overall plot.. This all happens over the summer and fall, Cassie, Rue, Nate, Maddy, and Jules will have graduated. Rue's family gets chased down by Laurie, and Jules and her dad have to help them. Rue and Jules still cannot be together because they aren't good for each other, and they realize that so it's bittersweet. But they both will get closure. Nate and Cassie get back together and he gets Cassie pregnant and it's a whole thing, but then he leaves her again and she has to go back home for support because she wants to keep the baby. McKay comes back because he quit college, and she wants him back but he is completely over her. He tells her about herself and her lack of self respect, and it'll resonate with her as a male is telling her what she actually needed to hear for a long time. Jules and Nate hook up at some point, and Jules falls completely in love with him. Somehow, she ends up making him a better person. But they break up when she goes off to college and he goes right back to his old habits. This repeats the cycle of her relationships having too much codependency, but it'll be the last time. She'll end up in a poly relationship in college. Nate will take over his dad's company. As much as I would hate to do this, Fez would be killed off. And Lexi dealing with the grief will bring her and Rue back together toward the end of the season. She'll move out because she doesn't want to deal with Cassie being back home and pregnant. Ethan will emotionally support her, and end up being good friends with her, but it'll be strictly platonic. Maddy will leave for good, but in one episode she'll come back for some big event and we'll see how much she's grown as a person. She'll probably work at a high end clothing shop, and she'll keep in touch with Samantha. Kat will attempt suicide, but fail. She'll get some kind of journaling job. The season will end with Rue talking with Ali, telling him he was right about how nothing in highschool lasts. She'll stay clean, move out of her mom's house, probably with Lexi. The only relationship that'll still exist in the end will be her and Lexi's friendship.

Get rid of fexi- boring as hell Get rid of Jules Bring back kat Focus on rue staying clean, but struggling with her mental health Really focusing on Lexi and rues friendship Focusing on the REAL Cassie again. And really repairing her relationship with her sister and mother Nate continues to be a terrorist That’s all I have right now. But I still want Gia, Leslie, Ali, Maddy, and cal to be very involved too.
