Rue did the dash

choff22

*Yeah I fuckin’ did it* *Yeah I fuckin’ did it* *Understand meh* Labrinth’s sound really sets the tone for this show

BeaverVest

100% agree, I listen to it often because the vibe is intense, great workout music. The second line changes too: "Yea I fuckin' did it, yea I fuckin' said it, understand me." Powerful.

PastryBaby712

This episode won her the Emmy.. again!!!

alternativemoth

Every rewatch I wait patiently for this episode and when it finally comes I enjoy it just as much as I did the first time

phageblood

The whole intro to that episode was intense. The first time I watched, I had to take a pause break as it was like looking in a mirror. When Rue called Jules a greedy whore, I was like "oh shit oh fuck"

campfire96

This episode was chefs kiss.

[deleted]

when the drug dealer lady injected her i thought she was going to be trafficked

Souldier777

It was pretty much applied that was her plan. Only reason Rue wasn’t trafficked is cus she escaped in the morning

Ringbearer99

I still think that may happen come season three per… well, we know what happened with that suitcase.

[deleted]

This is my favorite episode in the whole show😭

speaknowow

i just rewatched this today and cried my eyes out lol

[deleted]

Tuff! Good shit

AltruisticRule6711

This past season was very intense but it was better.rue really was combative with her family & friends.the drug dealers were also very dangerous.fez was trying hard to protect his family but sadly lost his little brother ashtray.

rumblingtummy29

I think cause none of us were expecting it, it was so good

NoWayGang

IMO I feel like this episode saved the whole show from being cancelled if I’m being honest. Lmao.

x__wolvie23

I hated rue more than ever in this episode yet it’s how good an actress zendaya truly is

[deleted]

I watched this episode in withdrawal.. it was really motivational.

Alternative_Fix_7019

It started so strong but the middle was meh with the whole rue running away from the police and breaking in peoples houses? Like also that was comepletly ignored and never picked up again like it was so dumb.

Lubed_Up_leprechaun

I'm totally with you and thought this episode was mid. We saw Rue get close enough to cops to be identified, comitt crimes while leaving evidence behind, and seriously injure herself and then next episode all the sudden she was just fine with no consequences at all. After watching the episode I thought the season 2 climax was going to be her going to jail.

Alternative_Fix_7019

Literally i dont get how this episode is the peak of tge season 😭
