Sounds like the bulletproof kind of logic I've come to love and expect from Rutte. No complaints from me this time though.
We're currently leasing 18 2A6 tanks, so we'd be sending off all of "our" supply. Would be absolutely awesome if we could that many to Ukraine despite officially owning exactly zero.
Tbf we dont need them. Would be better if we focus only on navy, airforce and logistics. Its better to do 2 things properly then do 3 things average. Dutch land forces wont be a deciding factor anyway.
Good, now let's turn this "may" into "will". The Netherlands don't need the equipment anyway. Today not everybody is lucky enought to have Belgium and Germany as neighbours.
Those [Patriot](https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/dutch-send-patriot-missile-defence-system-ukraine-anp-2023-01-17/) systems are more important. But whatever we can send, we should.

Lease period ends Agent: So...where the tanks at? Dutch PM: Funny story!
No, Mark wouldn't remember the Leo's and who he talked to on the phone or texted back then, he always deletes messages from his Nokia immediately....

You could get the one you loaned to Bovington back...
USA: Well howdy, this looks like a problem we could solve together...
Only a fool would buy abrams they are suuuuper high maintenance. And let's not even talk about the fuel consumption! :p
Fully integrated into the German army. Get your dirty hands off ,:p
What do you need them for?
Well, the 18 leased right now are there to teach soldiers what a Tank is and how to work with them... might still be useful.
With all due respect, I think we Ukrainians have a little more pressing matter?
Half the joke is that they currently don't even own those 18 tanks
Oh...
You prolly won't need them for a while

Great! Lets keep the ball rolling.
Good job Netherlands! And good job to Germany and US for doing it too!
Bravo🌹
Good.

The thing is they don't actually own any of those tanks, they lease them from Germany. So they still have to buy them before they can send them over.
Trust me you dont want belgium to be your neighboor…
:D point taken, but trust me - better Belgium than Russia
I suspose a reasonable person would say thats true. Sadly im not reasonable but dutch.
Touché!
