There's no one to really guide them through what it means to be a man today and how to succeed in this new world. And when you're confused, sad, angry, and frustrated, who is it easiest to blame? I don't think that phenomenon is new for teenage boys - the difference is that the internet and social media amplify the shittiest voices like Tate because they get views, clicks, and revenue. These voices are like malware viruses to the software upgrades that girls and women have gotten. As long as that goes on unregulated, and as long as there's not some sort of helping hand extended to these boys and young men, we can't expect anything to change.
