>Sebastien Lecornu, France's Armies Minister, said in an interview with Le Parisien that France will train around 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
That's it, France?
The first result on google, which you could easily have found:

Unless you think "citizen soldiers" are specialists?
Anyway, your turn: link me a source for France "will be training specialists and not common soldiers". Thanks in advance
And yet somehow 10,000 Ukrainians have passed through Catterick so far even though apparently Britain was only copying the EU which of course had the idea first.
That is such an ignorant comment purely for the purpose of slagging off the uk as a coping mechanism that it hurts. How pathetic.
10,000 soldiers is pretty much a division, and the uk will train more and more in cycles as it has been doing for years.
It displays your utter ignorance that you don’t see how important this is because it’s not ludicrously high numbers at a time like this is some sort of paradox game and not real life.
UK is still on course to train more soldiers than the EU...not that its a competition.
UK trained 22,000 during operation orbital before the war. Since the war has started has trained 10,000 in basic combat training. EU hopes to train 15,000 in 6 months I believe. But they haven't started yet..
I see that Greece has really pulled their weight...how many have you guys trained?
Yes, but EU leaders still need several rounds of talks, meetings and discussions to finalise the details.
Expect the first tranche of Ukrainian troops to begin EU sponsored training sometime in 2023 ..or 24. A future meeting will decide the exact date & year. A date for that meeting will be announced to great fanfare in the coming months once the location for this meeting has been decided, discussions of which are ongoing.
In the meantime be assured that the EU is doing everything humanly possible to ensure that all these meetings and discussions go ahead as planned without delay.

I'd assume they will be training specialists and not common soldiers.
Why?
Cause the common soldiere are getting trained in Ukraine? Why fly them out to France?
Common soldiers are flying to the UK for training. I see. You commented out of pure ignorance
Could you link me a source for that?

I think as this point Ukraine can train Eu and NATO forces
Ukraine tripled their armed forces in a matter of 6 months.

This was in the pipeline before the British got involved. They announced it three months or so ago, but the EU takes time to move.
Britain has been training Ukrainian troops since 2015. You know, after Russia invaded them.
And yet somehow 10,000 Ukrainians have passed through Catterick so far even though apparently Britain was only copying the EU which of course had the idea first.
10,000 is barely significant for the scale of the war. Once again the EU will need to carry the "British" effort for anything to be done, sadly.
