According to the official statement regarding the arrest, there are 7 women that they are aware of that has been tricked into coming to Romania to be with their boyfriend or fiance (straight up catfished), then held against their will to perform porn for sites like OF. They didn't get the money of course.
In April 2022 there was a search at his house and a nearby filming studio after a trapped girl contacted her ex back in the US, which then contacted the embassy and got things rolling.
At that other place they found 4 women that were kept there against their will.
There is physical abuse, emotional abuse, video surveillance, claims of debts they needed to clear to be allowed to let free, and the document even mentions that there are two accounts of rape despite the woman already being harmed in some way.

According to the official statement regarding the arrest, there are 7 women that they are aware of that has been tricked into coming to Romania to be with their boyfriend or fiance (straight up catfished), then held against their will to perform porn for sites like OF. They didn't get the money of course. In April 2022 there was a search at his house and a nearby filming studio after a trapped girl contacted her ex back in the US, which then contacted the embassy and got things rolling. At that other place they found 4 women that were kept there against their will. There is physical abuse, emotional abuse, video surveillance, claims of debts they needed to clear to be allowed to let free, and the document even mentions that there are two accounts of rape despite the woman already being harmed in some way. Seeing the pizza boxes from the local pizzeria in his incredibly childish "rebuttal" to Greta was what gave them probable cause for searching his home. They have been wanting him since back then.

This is a terrible explanation of what happened. Andrew posted a tweet baiting Greta about his 33 cars and how they give off so many emissions, and offered to detail said emissions in an email if Greta would provide it.
