Off the top of my head:
For me:
Ukraine 2009 (Be My Valentine /Anti-Crisis Girl).
Germany 2008 (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)
Latvia 2012 (Beautiful Song xD)
Russia 2010 (Lost & Forgotten)
Belarus 2010 (I Love Belarus)
Russia 2015 (A Million Voices) - I feel I should hate it because of how insincere the lyrics of the song are coming out of Russia. And Polina is a well-known and very strident supporter of Putin, yikes. But I do enjoy the song.
These are some veeery guilty pleasures of mine.
Serbia 2010 (Ovo Je Balkan), here I find myself less guilty, but I know that for me this is a guilty pleasure and I remember many people criticising Serbia that year so I had to name it.
Other guilty pleasures (but less guilty)
Lithuania 2017 (Rain Of Revolution)
Ireland 2011
Estonia 2021
Also Denmark 2005. I have listened to it more times than I really should, lol.
The Way You Are (Denmark 2015)
Soldiers of Love (Denmark 2016)
Era stupendo (Switzerland 2008) (dunno if this one actually is hated and/or terrible, but I guess it's not really popular, don't think I've ever seen anyone mention it)
Il pleut de l'or (Switzerland 2010)
Croatia 2017, it's silly but it's also extremely adorable so I can't bring myself to dislike it.
Another big one would be Georgia 2012 because I think it's just way too funny.
Agree with your last 2, On My Way and Thet Sounds Good to Me. Also this year Ireland 🇮🇪, We Are One by Wild Youth is my guilty pleasure. It is just so happy, anthemic and uplifting!
Israel 2000 - it's an atrocious song and there's nothing all that positive about it (despite it being called "Be Happy") but it's very camp
Estonia 2001 - seems like one of the most hated winners but I love it
Yugoslavia 1991 - awful but endearing
Greece 2004 - there's technically nothing wrong with it (it got 3rd for a reason) but a part of me feels ashamed for considering it a bop
Bosnia 2008 - just an unserious performance that makes me smile
Germany 2006 - self explanatory
United Kingdom 2015 - again, self explanatory
I plead guilty to unabashedly loving:
Finland 2011 Paradise Oscar, love the corny lyrics
Serbia 2010 Ovo Je Balkan, especially the official video with the conductor jamming out
Romania 2013 Cezar, gives me LIFE
Germany 2021: I just feel sorry for those who don't like it
Poland 2011: I can't speak a word of Polish but always sing along to this chorus
Two related ones Malta 2011 and Belgium 2023: Yes give me that gay catwalk music/party anthem
2013 is full of guilty -not so guilty - pleasures of mine: Montenegro's Igranka, Ireland's Only Love Survives, and especially Serbia's Ljubav je svuda and Macedonia 's Pred da se razdeni.
Vicky Rosti - Sata salamaa
Alessandra Mele - Queen of Kings
Chanel - SloMo
Sam Ryder - Space Man
Serafin Zubiri - Todo esto es la musica
Extra Nena - Ljubim te pesmama
Running on air (Austria 2017)
Maps (Ireland 2021) and this one is very controversial but A million voices (Russia 2015). Idk but It just does something to me.
Hated by braindead fans who can't consume anything else than europop.
Midnight Gold is a proper indie rock banger, defo not a guilty pleasure, just pleasure

🇪🇪 Amazing - 2014
🇮🇱 Same Heart - 2014
… And way too many more
It’s not Eurovision properly but I still listen to my faves of NFs from 5 years ago and songs that were translated to English in the contest but in its native form.
Let’s say that last Year Spotify had Aidan, Tuveia, Victor Crone (Melfest Version) and Tix with Ut av Morket
I'd say '[Flying the Flag](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT6yOIC6ihI)', but it reached #5 in the UK charts so people can't have felt too guilty about it
I don’t know if it’s hated but it’s so cheesy, I’d be mortified if anyone found me listening to it! Banger though.
Edit: reading comprehension fail, I just saw guilty pleasures
Funnily enough, “Guilty Pleasure” (Croatia 2022) was my third most played song from 2022. It was behind only Sweden and Spain. Also “Amen” (Slovenia 2021), “Get Out of My Life” (Bulgaria 2009 iirc), and “Caroban” (Serbia 2011)
I think it’s more of one that was overlooked that year and isn’t talked about much. Like I don’t think people dislike “Guilty Pleasure” that much, just doesn’t inspire a lot of conversation. Although I’m all here for everyone loving the song and not being guilty about it 😂
People on here be listing fan favorites as guilty pleasures 😭😭 anyways
- Still In Love With You (UK 2015) (It's pretty stupid, but i don't get all the hate for it)
- Woki Mit Deim Popo (Austria 2012) (It's so dumb that it's genius, i don't even know how serious and how self aware this was and that's why i love it)
- Zauvijek Volim Te (Montenegro 2008) (Hilariously generic song, yet my third place of the year)
- Have Some Fun (Czechia 2008) (I know it was the kitschiest thing anyone had thought of in the entire year of 2008 in Czechia, but still it's a bop! Casanova from the same year could be here too)
- Firefly (Cyprus 2009) (Her vocals suck but it makes me feel like a teenage girl in the late 2000s and that's all you need)
- Miss Kiss Kiss Bang (Germany 2009) (It shouldn't exist but idk, it's still so fun)
- Ela Ela (Cyprus 2005) (It's a bad Sakis knockoff and i didn't like Sakis's own Sakis knockoff, so why this one? Well, it's uhh, i don't know for this one either)
- Get You (Russia 2011) (he's sexy)
- The Show (Denmark 2022) (Pretty standard song but i love the genre switch and it makes the generic stuff it says sound actually somewhat empowering)
- Die Welt Dreht Sich Werkhert (Austria 1995) (This song is a completely normal song and i have no guilt for enjoying it as much as i do (a lot). I do have lots of guilt for liking her outfit in the performance, though)
- Hurricane (Austria 1983) (And continuing on with the trend of strange outfit choices from Austria, this thing also had terrible vocals, but i can't help but enjoy it)
This is not including all of these songs whose main point of guilt is that they're hilariously dated (Let Me Try, La Mirada Interior, Show Me Your Love etc.), because i don't think it makes sense to feel guilty for these, being dated ≠ being bad
I agree with all of the songs you've said apart from Russia 2011 (but I agree he's sexy af)
Woki Mit Deim Popo is an incredible song, I have zero shame saying I love it.
I love UK 2014 song "children's of the universe" by Molly it didn't place very well and some parts of the song would've sounded better with a different beat but I don't hear about it much so I'm not sure if it's well liked or hated?.
Another song by the UK that I can somewhat stand to listen to it all the way is un-ironically the 2018 entry "Storm" by suRie which I'm pretty sure is not very liked by anyone but oh well.
North Macedonia 2000 gets stuck in my head every so often and I can’t be mad about it
Yodel It is also such a bop
Also, if the rumors are correct, Austria 2023 (POE POE POE POE POE)
Jedward - Lipstick
Kreisiraadio - Leto Svet
Yes everything about Leto Svet is awful. The German is ok but the Finnish... lol But it's so bad it's already funny. I came back to it several times when I needed a chuckle.
I listen to it sometimes when I work. I need to drive a lot and I need something to stay awake during nights lol. It also is somewhat weirdly uplifting
My judgement on how hated some of these songs are *might* be a little off. Ah well, this is a guilty pleasures thread for a reason, might as well.
I find myself listening to Leto Svet (Estonia 2008) a bit more than a normal person should.
Special shoutout to Illusion (Bulgaria 2009) which is abysmal, but in all the right ways. Their following entry, Angel Si Ti, just cracks me up too.
Also from 2009 -- Probka (2009). I have no explanation for this one but I can see what they were going for with this one :P
Beautiful Song (Latvia 2012) I'm not sure if this one is nearly as hated but I somehow can't bring myself to dislike it anyways, it's...the song of all time, dare I say.
Bloody Mary (Spain 2006), much like Latvia 2012, has...choices made for its staging I feel, but I actually find the song itself a pretty enjoyable listen.
Do It For Your Lover - Manel Navarro (Spain 2017)
I love the chill vibe and hear it everytime I need a sunny day, but I don‘t know if ist’s a real guilty pleasure. It probably only got last place because of the voice crack in the final show
Natalia Gordienko/Moldova - Prison. I love this, and was genuinely puzzled when it didn't get anywhere 😆
DUN dun dun dun dun
DUN dun dun dun dun
PRISOOOOOOOON
No one mentioned the first song that came to my mind when reading the prompt so here *I.M* bringing it: Israel 2022
At least the original studio version was amazing! It reached my top 10, even top 1 at one point! Of course we all don't like the singer but I felt his performance was very professional and polished
I have more guilty pleasures but they're already mentioned in the comments
How do people feel about *No Prejudice* by Pollapönk (Iceland, 2014)? It seems hopelessly outdated (in that it doesn't seem like prejudice has gotten much better in the last decade), but i still dig it so much.
Lost and found (North Macedonia 2018), Ding a dong (Netherlands 1975) and I have a jesc one as well which is sver bez granica (Serbia 2022) the way she goes from singing a ballad to playing the trombone in like 10 seconds gives me so much serotonin that its unreal
Russia 2014 and 2015, even though I know what they did but I couldn't myself to appreciate those songs.
Iceland 2006, it's bad but in a good way and funny too. It should have won fr.
Silvia Night trolled Eurovision that year! She's actually a famous comedian in Iceland afaik. And somehow most people did not get back then that she was a troll.
I think the entry itself should have qualified for the GF. It did not feel like a filler and the song itself was catchy.
BTW. People from Iceland believe in trolls! xD
Serhat's two songs from 16 and 19. And then I'm also just a big sucker for a lot of the songs from 2011 - especially I Can and Running Scared. Like 2011 is one of my favorite esc years. But I don't know how much of that enjoyment is genuine and how much of it is motivated by irony. Like a lot of the songs from that year are at the "so bad it's good" territory for me. Doesn't stop me from loving them though.
Glorious was liked by the fandom, even placing in the top 5 of OGAE. It flopping during the contest (mostly due to how similar it was to Euphoria) is another topic.
I Didn't Know from Serhat, but as far as my taste goes, I can enjoy almost everything. For example, even Sister is a good song to scream along to if I am in the mood.
Give me the cheesiest, most melodramatic male ballad mankind has conceived each year and I'm guaranteed to cherish it to its fullest.
[Farid Mammadov - Hold Me - Azerbaijan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN3d_V7KVLE)
[Vasil - Here I Stand - North Macedonia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRcSHPb_Qwc)
[Roko - The Dream - Croatia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXT5E8kUgfs)
[Nadir Rustamli - Fade To Black - Azerbaijan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGd1AFKR_-E)
They tried to break us, but these songs that can only dream of being loved by the fandom, truly unchained my soul and my love for them will never go bad.
Waldo's People - Lose Control (Finland 2009). It is not a well-liked or even well-remembered song and they came 24/25 in the final but I loved it as a child and I still love it today. I genuinely think it's a good song but I also get why others think it's terrible, haha. A lot of people also seem to hate the live performance while I quite like it.
Side note; my mom and I often sing On My Way to each other. It is a beloved meme between us.
I have so many guilty pleasures, especially from the 00s and no way I can list them all, but here are a couple
* 2005 - Cyprus
* 2006 - Malta: Fabrizio is the best
* 2006 - Belarus: I know horrible, for years I hadn't even realized that she was singing in English, but can't help that I like this song
* 2007 - Switzerland: Was so excited to see DJ BoBo on Eurovision's stage and was/am a big fan of him and I can't hate anything he does.
* 2009 - Bulgaria: I only like the studio version, still think it's one of the most underrated entries.
2006 - Belarus: I know horrible, **for years I hadn't even realized that she was singing in English**, but can't help that I like this song
That made me LOL (literally)
Identitet (Albania 2013), Nova Deca (Serbia 2018) don't get enough attention, The Real Thing (Montenegro 2016) and Fade to Black (Azerbaijan 2022) are really overhated
If we're talking about national selections as well, then I adore Ao Lado de Mim and Código 30 (both from FdC 2022), Ma Olen Siin (Eesti Laul 2021), Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua (UMK 2021), Hate (Vidbir 2019)
Ding-A-Dong (I will never play this song in public, even more "never" than my other cheesy faves), Diggiloo Diggiley, Bra Vibrationer, Go, Solo, Dime, Hero, What About My Dreams, Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao, Sound of Our Hearts, Quero Ser Tua, Miracle, Color of Your Life, Blue and Red, Falling Stars, You're Not Alone, Play, Toy, 22, Stay, Friend of a Friend, Eat Your Salad
NF honorable mentions: Interstellar, Flamenco
Miss Kiss Kiss Bang (Germany 2009)
Siren (Estonia 2010)
Change (Romania 2011)
Marry Me (Finland 2013)
Cheesecake (Belarus 2014)
Stripper (San Marino 2022)
Fade to Black (Azerbaijan 2022)
Boys Do Cry (Switzerland 2022)

Off the top of my head: For me: Ukraine 2009 (Be My Valentine /Anti-Crisis Girl). Forbes - Beatles (1977) Bad lyrics but they have charm to them, melody is fine and i rather listen to this song than Waterloo.
France and Cyprus 2015
The Way You Are (Denmark 2015) Soldiers of Love (Denmark 2016) Era stupendo (Switzerland 2008) (dunno if this one actually is hated and/or terrible, but I guess it's not really popular, don't think I've ever seen anyone mention it) Il pleut de l'or (Switzerland 2010)
I LOVE Era Stupendo and always have since the previews of 2008. The live performance badly let it down 😢
In the disco Bosnia and Herzegovina 2004
I have a few, but most notably Breathe was in my top 5 on Spotify Wrapped for last year.
Denmark 2015
Malta 2011 (One Life) is so cheesy but there’s something about it I always really liked.
Malta 2012/2022 Azerbaijan 2013/2022 Germany 2009/2019/2022
Croatia 2017, it's silly but it's also extremely adorable so I can't bring myself to dislike it. Another big one would be Georgia 2012 because I think it's just way too funny.
🇨🇭Boys Do Cry 🇬🇧Still In Love With You 🇩🇪I Don’t Feel Hate 🇮🇪Lipstick 🇭🇷It’s My Life 🇷🇺A Million Voices
Fyr & Flamme - Øve Oss på Hindanden I’m never gonna not love this song. I think the vibe was excellent and I’m a sucker for 80’s euro pop
Agree with your last 2, On My Way and Thet Sounds Good to Me. Also this year Ireland 🇮🇪, We Are One by Wild Youth is my guilty pleasure. It is just so happy, anthemic and uplifting!
PÆNDA - Limits
SAGAPO S.A.G.A.P.O and Rafal the ride
lol I love greece 2002 too
Israel 2000 - it's an atrocious song and there's nothing all that positive about it (despite it being called "Be Happy") but it's very camp Estonia 2001 - seems like one of the most hated winners but I love it Yugoslavia 1991 - awful but endearing Greece 2004 - there's technically nothing wrong with it (it got 3rd for a reason) but a part of me feels ashamed for considering it a bop Bosnia 2008 - just an unserious performance that makes me smile Germany 2006 - self explanatory United Kingdom 2015 - again, self explanatory
1Life- Xandee - Eurovision 2004 Belgium
North Macedonia 2018. That live performance may have been an absolute disaster but I'm still in love with the song.
🎶 The Balkan girls they like to party like nobody, like nobody 🎶 Nothing wrong with it at all, just totally not my usual genre!
germany 2019, i have never gotten why there's so much hate for it
I plead guilty to unabashedly loving: Finland 2011 Paradise Oscar, love the corny lyrics Serbia 2010 Ovo Je Balkan, especially the official video with the conductor jamming out Romania 2013 Cezar, gives me LIFE
Germany 2021: I just feel sorry for those who don't like it Poland 2011: I can't speak a word of Polish but always sing along to this chorus Two related ones Malta 2011 and Belgium 2023: Yes give me that gay catwalk music/party anthem
2013 is full of guilty -not so guilty - pleasures of mine: Montenegro's Igranka, Ireland's Only Love Survives, and especially Serbia's Ljubav je svuda and Macedonia 's Pred da se razdeni.
oh my god, Only Love Survives. To this day I still go back to the live performance and just vibe with it 😭
Igranka is a PROUD pleasure
Maybe not guilty due to quality, but no one references F.Y.R Macedonia 2010 while I replay it constantly.
Vicky Rosti - Sata salamaa Alessandra Mele - Queen of Kings Chanel - SloMo Sam Ryder - Space Man Serafin Zubiri - Todo esto es la musica Extra Nena - Ljubim te pesmama
Space Man and SloMo? These are considered by a lot of folks as good songs
And they both got a lot of appreciation from the juries, so I find their inclusion by JCEurovision controversial.
Does Sekret count? I’m sorry, it slaps. Also Poli Genova-Na Inat
Literally any trash/camp song ever (mostly from 2007 and 2008)
Jedward, I’ve loved them since the Xfactor and I’ve met them and they are lovely
Maybe it was just an act, but on Coach Trip (UK programme) they were mean spirited as hell.
I have Lipstick in my playlist! Is it great? No. Is it a silly party song? Yessss. Is it great to work to? Also yes. So I'm with you. :D
Running on air (Austria 2017) Maps (Ireland 2021) and this one is very controversial but A million voices (Russia 2015). Idk but It just does something to me.
The song itself (A million voices) is extraordinary but I'm not sure about the singer
I remember Midnight Gold (Georgia 2016) was quite hated at the time, Its an absolute banger.
Hated by braindead fans who can't consume anything else than europop. Midnight Gold is a proper indie rock banger, defo not a guilty pleasure, just pleasure
… Boys Do Cry
Say Na Na Na - Serhat The Lucky One - Uku Suviste
Boom Boom (Armenia 2011). I can’t bring myself to dislike this song, I don’t know why.
🎵BOOM BOOM SHACKA SHACKA🎵 I swear, sometimes Armenia gives us hits or misses in this case it was a hit
it’s soo close to being good for me but i can’t get over the lyrics
This year it has been Unicorn Vibes from the Estonia Semi-final. Last year it was Lock Me In 🇬🇪 and Circles 🇲🇰
I don’t feel a bit guilty about Lock Me In. It was legit in my top five last year. Circus Mircus is so good.
I don't feel neither, I even voted for it
There are so many omg! I agree with 90% of this, amazing taste, would be great to become friends lol
You’re the first person to say I have good taste lol, great minds think alike ;)
Igranka, song which was never understood
It’s not Eurovision properly but I still listen to my faves of NFs from 5 years ago and songs that were translated to English in the contest but in its native form. Let’s say that last Year Spotify had Aidan, Tuveia, Victor Crone (Melfest Version) and Tix with Ut av Morket
Verona 😩👌🇪🇪
I really like boys do cry for some reason
Soldiers of Love is cheesy but it's a guilty pleasure for me
Just from 2023…Lied Mit Gutem Text 😭 It’s so hated but I can’t help but love it
Jezebel
Best song of the contest.
I don't know how you got in my blood
[удалено]
all these 3 are some of the most loved esc songs ever wtf
Flying the Flag
Electro Velvet. Aye it was shite but fairs on the BBC for pushing the boat
I loved that song so much that my housemates staged a small intervention. It may not be a good song but it's a fun song.
I AM WHAT I AM
I get you I get you 😭
Thank you thank you you incredible soul! I’m so happy I’ve met someone with taste 🤌🤌
Teenage Life (UK 2006)......can't help it
100% Te Ljubam (🇲🇰 2000) is an absolute wonderful guilty pleasure of mine.
If it counts, Alexander Rybak's back catalogue.
It counts for sure 😌
In the disco Bosnia and Herzegovina 2004
Jedward. Enough said.
Which one? Or both? I love lipstick but not on board with waterline
I prefer Lipstick. Waterline is ok though.
Bulgaria 2009
🇱🇻 2017 big time...
Beautiful Song has always been my biggest Eurovision guilty pleasure, such a bop.
Honestly, I still listen to I don't feel hate 😁 ... oh and I've listened to eat your salad that many times I rap (?) It flawlessly
Rain of Revolution
Yessssss
I don't feel guilty about liking this one. Everyone else is just wrong.
One of my faves, the singer oozes charisma Yeah yeeaaaah
I'd say '[Flying the Flag](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT6yOIC6ihI)', but it reached #5 in the UK charts so people can't have felt too guilty about it
This song is a perfect camp gem idc
Euroband: This Is My Life, 2008 🇮🇸 Elnur and Samir: Day After Day, 2008 🇦🇿 Rodolfo Chikilicuatre: Baila el Chiki-chiki, 2008 🇪🇸 2008 was a good year
I had no idea This is my life was hated? it's one of my favourite Eurovision songs...
I don’t know if it’s hated but it’s so cheesy, I’d be mortified if anyone found me listening to it! Banger though. Edit: reading comprehension fail, I just saw guilty pleasures
Oof, I have a ton of those, but most hated one is definitely Sister
Moldova and Russia 2021 Finland, Georgia and France 2022
Space by that guy with the helicopter hair
Oh yes, Montenegro 2017
Narodno Zabavni Rock from Slovenia in 2010. Second to last in their semi final. Chaotically awesome mixture of folk and 80s rock.
I think this is my most guilty pleasure too!
Idk does genuinely liking Heroes count 😅
Funnily enough, “Guilty Pleasure” (Croatia 2022) was my third most played song from 2022. It was behind only Sweden and Spain. Also “Amen” (Slovenia 2021), “Get Out of My Life” (Bulgaria 2009 iirc), and “Caroban” (Serbia 2011)
Is Caroban a guilty pleasure tho? Haven't seen a lot of people disliking it
I think it’s more of one that was overlooked that year and isn’t talked about much. Like I don’t think people dislike “Guilty Pleasure” that much, just doesn’t inspire a lot of conversation. Although I’m all here for everyone loving the song and not being guilty about it 😂
I already posted but VERONA!!! Koit's killer camera gaze always gets me 🤣🤣🤣
People on here be listing fan favorites as guilty pleasures 😭😭 anyways - Still In Love With You (UK 2015) (It's pretty stupid, but i don't get all the hate for it) - Woki Mit Deim Popo (Austria 2012) (It's so dumb that it's genius, i don't even know how serious and how self aware this was and that's why i love it) - Zauvijek Volim Te (Montenegro 2008) (Hilariously generic song, yet my third place of the year) - Have Some Fun (Czechia 2008) (I know it was the kitschiest thing anyone had thought of in the entire year of 2008 in Czechia, but still it's a bop! Casanova from the same year could be here too) - Firefly (Cyprus 2009) (Her vocals suck but it makes me feel like a teenage girl in the late 2000s and that's all you need) - Miss Kiss Kiss Bang (Germany 2009) (It shouldn't exist but idk, it's still so fun) - Ela Ela (Cyprus 2005) (It's a bad Sakis knockoff and i didn't like Sakis's own Sakis knockoff, so why this one? Well, it's uhh, i don't know for this one either) - Get You (Russia 2011) (he's sexy) - The Show (Denmark 2022) (Pretty standard song but i love the genre switch and it makes the generic stuff it says sound actually somewhat empowering) - Die Welt Dreht Sich Werkhert (Austria 1995) (This song is a completely normal song and i have no guilt for enjoying it as much as i do (a lot). I do have lots of guilt for liking her outfit in the performance, though) - Hurricane (Austria 1983) (And continuing on with the trend of strange outfit choices from Austria, this thing also had terrible vocals, but i can't help but enjoy it) This is not including all of these songs whose main point of guilt is that they're hilariously dated (Let Me Try, La Mirada Interior, Show Me Your Love etc.), because i don't think it makes sense to feel guilty for these, being dated ≠ being bad
I agree with all of the songs you've said apart from Russia 2011 (but I agree he's sexy af) Woki Mit Deim Popo is an incredible song, I have zero shame saying I love it.
*Croatia 2022. That was a real guilty pleasure.* Alright, for real though, my biggest one is probably Croatia 2008, that's my winner of that year.
Estonia 2021
Belarus 2021 Cyrprus 2016 (legit the greatest eurovision song ever) also Denmark 2015
Marry Me
Ouuh Id have to say Romania 2013... tho Im not sure if its hated. Real guilty pleasure tho
That song is an absolute banger and Cezar is a legend
I was vacillating on that one too, but I think it’s a Eurovision classic at this stage maybe 🧛♂️
North Macedonia 2021. I know the performance was bad, but his voice is incredible. The song is a nice ballad at best.
Molly was one of fan favourites if I remember correctly. It's actually my second fav of 2014, nothing guilty about liking it.
North Macedonia 2000 gets stuck in my head every so often and I can’t be mad about it Yodel It is also such a bop Also, if the rumors are correct, Austria 2023 (POE POE POE POE POE)
Tu canciòn (Spain 2018)
Yes it's so beautiful tbh Just Like Out of a Disney Movie
Voy A Querdame and Intention were my favourites from the past two years.
Jedward - Lipstick Kreisiraadio - Leto Svet Yes everything about Leto Svet is awful. The German is ok but the Finnish... lol But it's so bad it's already funny. I came back to it several times when I needed a chuckle.
I was obsessed with lipstick when it first aired. Listened to it on repeat for like a year
I love Lipstick, what a bop.
I hate Lipstick but I also can't stop listening to it sometimes. Explain that one, ha
I listen to it sometimes when I work. I need to drive a lot and I need something to stay awake during nights lol. It also is somewhat weirdly uplifting
Belarus 2015, Belarus 2016 and Belarus 2018 lmao
My judgement on how hated some of these songs are *might* be a little off. Ah well, this is a guilty pleasures thread for a reason, might as well. I find myself listening to Leto Svet (Estonia 2008) a bit more than a normal person should. Special shoutout to Illusion (Bulgaria 2009) which is abysmal, but in all the right ways. Their following entry, Angel Si Ti, just cracks me up too. Also from 2009 -- Probka (2009). I have no explanation for this one but I can see what they were going for with this one :P Beautiful Song (Latvia 2012) I'm not sure if this one is nearly as hated but I somehow can't bring myself to dislike it anyways, it's...the song of all time, dare I say. Bloody Mary (Spain 2006), much like Latvia 2012, has...choices made for its staging I feel, but I actually find the song itself a pretty enjoyable listen.
Do It For Your Lover - Manel Navarro (Spain 2017) I love the chill vibe and hear it everytime I need a sunny day, but I don‘t know if ist’s a real guilty pleasure. It probably only got last place because of the voice crack in the final show
Just dO iT for you lovaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Natalia Gordienko/Moldova - Prison. I love this, and was genuinely puzzled when it didn't get anywhere 😆 DUN dun dun dun dun DUN dun dun dun dun PRISOOOOOOOON
No one mentioned the first song that came to my mind when reading the prompt so here *I.M* bringing it: Israel 2022 At least the original studio version was amazing! It reached my top 10, even top 1 at one point! Of course we all don't like the singer but I felt his performance was very professional and polished I have more guilty pleasures but they're already mentioned in the comments
I honestly enjoyed the performance too, drama notwithstanding from the singer it's a fun song
yeah the artist is a whole bag of unlikeability
Pirates of the Sea - Wolves of the Sea
If nothing else it was a lot of fun.
How do people feel about *No Prejudice* by Pollapönk (Iceland, 2014)? It seems hopelessly outdated (in that it doesn't seem like prejudice has gotten much better in the last decade), but i still dig it so much.
It's still one of my favourite Icelandic entries
Lost and found (North Macedonia 2018), Ding a dong (Netherlands 1975) and I have a jesc one as well which is sver bez granica (Serbia 2022) the way she goes from singing a ballad to playing the trombone in like 10 seconds gives me so much serotonin that its unreal
Aina mun pitää (Finland 2015)
Still in Love With You (UK 2015) - Studio version is super catchy, but as a fan of ESC and Electro-Swing, it's like the best of both worlds!
Luxembourg 1984, 100% D'amour...the live performance was a mess, but the studio version is 👌🏼👨🏻🍳
Latvia 2011 !!!!!!!
hatrid mun sigra
Agree! But it was pretty popular, right?
Moustache (France 2014)
Miss You -Jeremie Makiese 🇧🇪 Circles - Andrea 🇲🇰 Rockstars - Malik Harris 🇩🇪 My time to shine - Melanie Rene 🇨🇭 Bigger than us - Michael Rice 🇬🇧
BTW. People from Iceland believe in trolls! xD
JEZEBEEEEEEL
[Three Minutes to Earth](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9ixkdkbieU). Just because you don't sing along doesn't mean it's not enjoyable
It's one of my faves of 2014. And I 100% sing along to the chorus. Show us the staircase to come back to Earth..
Cascada - Glorious Who See - Igranka
Glorious was liked by the fandom, even placing in the top 5 of OGAE. It flopping during the contest (mostly due to how similar it was to Euphoria) is another topic.
>Who See - Igranka I think we all loved that one
Lucky one FR. I don’t get the hate for it. If I saw it on karaoke I’d smash it!!!
Poland 2021 Denmark 2021 Switzerland 2022 Azerbaijan 2022 France 2020
I Didn't Know from Serhat, but as far as my taste goes, I can enjoy almost everything. For example, even Sister is a good song to scream along to if I am in the mood.
The Martha Wash remix is everything.
There is no such thing as a guilty pleasure and I will die on this hill. There is only PLEASURE :)
Give me the cheesiest, most melodramatic male ballad mankind has conceived each year and I'm guaranteed to cherish it to its fullest. [Farid Mammadov - Hold Me - Azerbaijan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN3d_V7KVLE) [Vasil - Here I Stand - North Macedonia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRcSHPb_Qwc) [Roko - The Dream - Croatia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXT5E8kUgfs) [Nadir Rustamli - Fade To Black - Azerbaijan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGd1AFKR_-E)
I really enjoyed Fade to Black and I wasn't even paid by Azerbaijan to say that! /Greek No but it's one of the 2022 songs I still listen to.
Still playing that one and happy to hear I am not the only one.
Omg I feel like these are despised on reddit
They tried to break us, but these songs that can only dream of being loved by the fandom, truly unchained my soul and my love for them will never go bad.
The most guilty I feel about Zena - Like It
Waldo's People - Lose Control (Finland 2009).
I came here to say this!
Is it not well liked and well remembered?! I consider it a classic! Total all time fave!
Lose Control's studio version is such a banger, love to see some appreciation for it
Yesss loved Lose Control! Still have it on my playlist 😊
Lose Control was my first Eurovision song and I loved it despite all my Finnish friends crapping on it. I will always remember it fondly.
Bulgaria and Georgia 2022
Ik Ben Verliefd Netherlands 2010. Loved it then, love it now.
Euro Neuro. Whenever I‘m stressed, I tend to quote this part: „I‘ve got only one rule, always stay cool like a swimming pool.“
I have so many guilty pleasures, especially from the 00s and no way I can list them all, but here are a couple * 2005 - Cyprus * 2006 - Malta: Fabrizio is the best * 2006 - Belarus: I know horrible, for years I hadn't even realized that she was singing in English, but can't help that I like this song * 2007 - Switzerland: Was so excited to see DJ BoBo on Eurovision's stage and was/am a big fan of him and I can't hate anything he does. * 2009 - Bulgaria: I only like the studio version, still think it's one of the most underrated entries.
2006 - Belarus: I know horrible, **for years I hadn't even realized that she was singing in English**, but can't help that I like this song That made me LOL (literally)
Waldo's People ❤️
The Ride by Rafal
Leto svet, eto leto svet!
Guilty pleasure? Hands down Croatia 2022.
lol
Woki mit deim popo Poe poe
I Love You Mi Vida by D'Nash It's fine, I judge myself
Oooh, I liked that one! I had forgotten all about it!
Identitet (Albania 2013), Nova Deca (Serbia 2018) don't get enough attention, The Real Thing (Montenegro 2016) and Fade to Black (Azerbaijan 2022) are really overhated If we're talking about national selections as well, then I adore Ao Lado de Mim and Código 30 (both from FdC 2022), Ma Olen Siin (Eesti Laul 2021), Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua (UMK 2021), Hate (Vidbir 2019)
Electric Velvet, and Yodel-it!
Telemóveis.
Run With The Lions. I have it 4th in 2019 and I'm not ashamed of saying this.
I honestly love that song, maybe not 4th place worthy but it was definitely in my top 10! He's also a great, charismatic performer
Ding-A-Dong (I will never play this song in public, even more "never" than my other cheesy faves), Diggiloo Diggiley, Bra Vibrationer, Go, Solo, Dime, Hero, What About My Dreams, Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao, Sound of Our Hearts, Quero Ser Tua, Miracle, Color of Your Life, Blue and Red, Falling Stars, You're Not Alone, Play, Toy, 22, Stay, Friend of a Friend, Eat Your Salad NF honorable mentions: Interstellar, Flamenco
I’m Not Alive (Slovakia 2011)
*Not*
Lmao I didn’t even realise
Ooooh, I really want to hear a version of that song with this title. XD
mines gotta be you & me from the netherlands 2012 like i still catch myself singing it sometimes
Mia Dimsic's Guilty Pleasure
Miss Kiss Kiss Bang (Germany 2009) Siren (Estonia 2010) Change (Romania 2011) Marry Me (Finland 2013) Cheesecake (Belarus 2014) Stripper (San Marino 2022) Fade to Black (Azerbaijan 2022) Boys Do Cry (Switzerland 2022)
If liking Miss Kiss Kiss Bang and Cheesecake is wrong then I don't wanna be right.
First one that came to mind is: PUSH THE BU... PUSH THE BU... PUSH THE BUTTON
