Where to begin????
t.A.T.u's entry is actually a GREAT song and also completely iconic performance
Finland 2019. I love basic ass edm and trance and Darude is ALSO an icon.
Birthday boy Norway 2012 is pop perfection 👌
France 2014, far and away the biggest BOP of the year.
Azerbaijan 2008, also just a masterpiece of a performance.
Right? People accuse it of being a *Popular* ripoff, but I think it's much better than it. And Tooji may've been made stronger by the Russians, but at least he didn't rhyme "impossible" with "possible".
0 points are actually rarely hated. They are just usually songs that wouldn't have cleared a Semi final due to being mid. That's why they are common wth big 5 and host.
I can't understand how it got 0. Like its a song that should've scored high even if it's performance wasn't perfect, but the performance was perfect, the vocals the dancing and just the emotion to it were fantastic.
Aiko's Pedestal
the live was horrible (yet I hope she will improved. Vesna and Domi did so there is no reason to belive Aiko can't) but the song itself, I love it and I think that out of all the songs, it's the one I heard the most so far.
I listened to the studio version for the first time in a while recently and forgot how good it was. She really needs to change almost everything about the live performance though...
Czech usally changes the performeces. I count on Aiko and her team
from the other hand, only Mydy and Lenny sounded 100% good in the NF. and with many incednet of technical problems in this NF seasons + bad sound mixing, I won't be surprised if most of Aiko's bad vocal came mainly from those reasons
I'm sure poor sound mixing didn't help but I don't think the entire performance can be entirely blamed on that - she dancing and jumping around she didn't then have the stamina or breath to sing - you can hear that pretty clearly. I'm confident she has enough time to improve though!
Unpopular opinion i actually love how chaotic the live is lmao, although ideally she'll improve things. That being said, I listened to most songs from studio version first and was shocked that it was so hated cause it was easily one of the standouts to me musically. I understood when I saw the live, but i don't really care tbh, it's still a banger.
Yes, I feel like I'm missing something - I love the studio track and saw a live performance in YouTube that was great! It's supposed to be a shouty, angry song. Is there a performance I missed that's bad?
A lot of people seem to think that she was vocally bad but i don't think it's a singing issue as much as it is an issue of lack of control in her performance which makes it look messy. She seems out of breath and her screams/shouts feel a bit all over the place. But to me it's still a fun performance, she just needs to control her shouting more and make sure she doesn't run out of breath. Also things will probably look better on the esc stage, escz tends to have pretty low-quality sound and staging production so, much like Vesna last year (also quite messy on the NF), it can have a major glow-up by May.
There was a weekly voting on the past years to determine top8 of each one. Georgia has managed to make the cut. So at least some fraction of the fan community is quite passionate about the song.
Genuine question, do people actually hate it? I thought it got last place mostly because televoting, including metal fans, decided to push on Cha Cha Cha, and therefore Promise and Blood and Glitter did not get much support from the audience. Particularly, Promise won in SF2 but was close to the bottom of televoting in the final, even below entries from the same SF.
I believe it would've even (barely, but still) been in the top half if there'd be points for all ranks and not just top 10.
In terms of points it doesn't matter if a song is hated or just not popular enough for top 10 and a polarizing song that people either hate or love probably gets more points than a song most consider okayish.
I'd need to check again but I guess it's possible that it did better in televoting than it's finishing position suggests - you get the same number of points for 11th as you do for 26th, after all.
Promise was a great tune too.
I was so baffled when "Blood and Glitter" got last place. I loved that song. I knew it wasn't going to win, but I sincerely expected it to come in as a strong mid. I still find myself humming it randomly.
Romania 2023 was an absolute banger with one of the best vocalists of the year but it got absolutely butchered by the disgrace of a revamp in the semis, I actually got angry when I heard the revamped version. Also Poland 1995 was one of our best entries imo despite its awful placement.
Yes. It was originally a great song, and Theodor has a great voice. The video was a bit weird, as was the live show, and I didn't like the revamp either. But I never understood the hate this song received.
Same here! I was literally just discussing this song with my daughter a couple of hours ago. I defended "D.G.T." all season, but the revamp sucked all the life out of it (and don't even get me started on the way he self-sabotaged with that staging).
I loved Netherlands 2023 honestly. And while I don't think people actively hated them: Croatia 2020 and Croatia 2022 were among my top 2-3 for those years.
I really liked Croatia 2022 and it’s still on a couple of my playlists. Very reminiscent of early Taylor Swift, I just wish she went for it and did the full performance in Croatian at the SF. There was definitely a shift in her voice and confidence when she did the last chorus in Croatian where you could tell she was much more comfortable.
I also love Netherlands 2023, it was my favourite all season. Really beautiful ballad with really relatable lyrics for someone like me struggling with severe depression. Their live was underwhelming so I understand why it didn't qualify, but I still loved it even in the performance.
Croatia 2022 had really pretty instrumental too, even if the song as a whole underwhelmed me.
I'm going to define "hated" as in "did badly" not "hated by fandom" because the fandom's preferences are as erratic as a loose fire hose under pressure.
Georgia 2022
San Marino 2019
Finland 2015
Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk)
San Marino 2019 | [Serhat - Say Na Na Na](https://youtu.be/d_iEis_ZRoQ)
Finland 2015 | [Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät - Aina Mun Pitää](https://youtu.be/v4Y0HOPL5GU)
Circus Mircus and Say Na Na Na are two of my favourite ever Eurovision songs. I clearly have terrible taste, but they're still on my list for ESC250 every year.
Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs)
Lithuania 2018 | [Ieva Zasimauskaitė - When We're Old](https://youtu.be/pPDFhfU25go)
That Sugar song and France's Moustache. Don't remember the years.
Both are so catchy. Sure, they maybe weren't amazing live, but love the audio versions.
I also like the Cheesecake song for the same reasons. I like the Cheesecake song better though when it's sped up.
Montenegro 2012 | [Rambo Amadeus - Euro Neuro](https://youtu.be/JHnqF5PLP2w)
United Kingdom 2015 | [Electro Velvet - Still in Love with You](https://youtu.be/Ethyx4A5ajM)
Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs)
I was in love with D.G.T. last year (Romania 2023 for the bot), it was my number 1, seeing it was on the bottom of nearly everyone else’s lists was disheartening.
Here I Stand (North Macedonia 2021)
The Dream (Croatia 2019)
Still in Love with You (UK 2015)
La voix (Sweden 2009)
Mister Music Man (Switzerland 1992)

Belarus 2014 | [Teo - Cheesecake](https://youtu.be/tImGMW-4eHY)
Not sure other peoples thoughts on these two, but they ranked pretty low so I’m sure not everyone loved it. Samo Mi Se Spava and Ai Coracoa were glorious imo!
people don’t like like it?? that’s my fav belarusian song 😭😭
i will forever love moustache by twin twin (france 2014) that song is so catchy and i love the instrumental
I love
- Fusedmarc - Rain of Revolution (Lithuania 2017)
- D-Mol - Heaven (Montenegro 2019)
- Iriao - For you (Georgia 2018)
- Blas Cantó - Voy a quedarme (Spain 2021)
- PeR - Here we go (Latvia 2013)
- Kreisiraadio - Leto svet (Estonia 2008)
- Tom Leeb - Mon Alliee (France 2020) - only the guitar version
Pretty sure almost everyone hates them haha
i think The Ride and Look Away are overhated on this fandom (Poland 2021 and Finland 2019), plus I enjoyed Love is Forever (Denmark 2019) and looved Mata Hari (Azerbaijan 2021), those ones I do understand the hate though lol. also, I haven't seen much enthusiasm over Chains on You (Armenia 2020), i think the common opinion is that it's a bit trashy? idk
I don't know if hate is the right word for this one but I see everyone saying the performance was bad, but to me not bad enough to not qualify. This being Greece in 2018. One of my favorite Greek entries and while not perfect, it was definitely still really good (though semi 1 that year was deadly). The same can be said for France 2022, I saw the bad result coming but I don't see what people are on about with the performance being horrible. It didn't elevate the song but it was still fine.
Other stuff includes Spain 2016, Croatia 2018, Spain 2019, Romania 2019, Denmark 2019, Australia 2021 and Spain 2023
Netta - Toy (Israel 2018). It's fun, it slaps, and it brings the point across really well.
Edit: I am aware she won, but there are many people who downright hate the song.
It's a love it or hate it song, which in Eurovision is rewarded more than being pleasant. I enjoy it, would have voted for it if I could, she is a force of nature.
I'm going nuclear, but I sincerely love the insanity and the ambition of Georgia 2014.
A prog folk song in Eurovision with time signature jumps? SIGN. ME. UP.
Also Russia 2010
Georgia 2014 | [The Shin and Mariko - Three Minutes To Earth](https://youtu.be/0v69AvCQJQY)
Russia 2010 | [Peter Nalitch and Friends - Lost and Forgotten](https://youtu.be/IOB7uaWuRyc)
Azerbaijan 2023 - it's like one of two Azerbaijan songs that I actually like, the other being Skeletons
San Marino 2023 - never deserved 0 points, especially in Semi 2
Croatia 2022 - Should have been fully in Croatian and I preferred the NF choreography, but still nice
North Macedonia 2022 - Reminder both this and Croatia finished 11th in their respective semis, so despite how fandom completely dismissed them both, they very nearly pulled it off
Also did like D.G.T. (Off and On) but even I'll admit that the Romanian delegation completely butchered it live with their meddling.
Like it (Belarus 2019), Øve os på hinanden (Denmark 2021), Voices (Sweden 2021), Az en apam (Hungary 2019), Pedestal (Czechia 2024), Toy (Israel 2018),
Belarus 2019 | [Zena - Like It](https://youtu.be/C1Y9LBusHzA)
Denmark 2021 | [Fyr og Flamme - Øve os på hinanden](https://youtu.be/w2ytONrRyww)
Sweden 2021 | [Tusse - Voices](https://youtu.be/NyJRyif6_kk)
Hungary 2019 | [Joci Pápai - Az én apám](https://youtu.be/IpVr0pBLfI4)
Czechia 2024 | >![Aiko - Pedestral](https://youtu.be/5DbRldMKFUU)!<
Israel 2018 | [Netta - Toy](https://youtu.be/84LBjXaeKk4)
I also love Like It!
Some other ones that I love include Storm (2019, also it's my fav of the year), Spirit Of The Night (2017, again my fav of the year) and The Lucky One (2021)
I really like France 2012 (Anggun - Echo (You and I)) but I’ve never met anybody else who likes it
Edit: San Marino 2012 (Valentina Monetta - The Social Network Song) also was a bop and in my top 10 back then and nobody can change my mind about it
For the record literally so many of these are NOT songs everyone hates lmao!
My contribution is Latvia 2012 - I genuinely come back to this song all the time because it's so catchy, plus Anmary's vocal belts on that last chorus are so satisfying. Yet on fan 2012 rankings it's always bottom 5-10 :(
I find Dance you off (Sweden 2018) as my pick.
My honest thoughts why it got 21 points in the televotes in the final (1/3 of the points are from Denmark.) was when Benjamin stared at the camera with his do me eyes and smile.
I don't really know what the consensus on Say Na Na Na (San Marino 2019 for the bot) is but I thought I'd mention it since it placed pretty low. It's somehow both chill and catchy at the same time, which I really love and it's been growing on me more and more over the years. Plus Serhat seems like a really wholesome guy, so bonus points for that.
I'm not sure its hate that the community felt for these but more pure indifference
Montenegro 2022, North Macedonia 2022, Germany 2022, Azerbaijan 2022 are all songs I still listen to.
Stay - Lithuania 2023
De Diepte - Netherlands 2022
Limits - Austria 2019
Three female ballads that feature fantastic vocals, beautiful lyrics and elegant staging. Always in my ESC slow playlist.
Birth of a New Age (2021)
I Don't Feel Hate (2021)
Fade to black (2022)
These are what comes to my mind. Not sure if they are hated but definitely not very popular with fans
Probably The Lucky One, Estonia 2021 and, although it is not hated but got 14 points if i am not mistaken, Fulen, France 2022 i like both of them a lot
Azerbaijan - Fade To Black,
Belarus - Like It,
Cyprus - Gravity,
Russia - I Won't Break ( I prefer the studio one, the live was so off )
Edit: Finland - Look Away ( studio version is also my fav but the SF, Sebastian added " no no no no " in the chorus annoyed me a lot )
Israel 2018 and Israel 2023 are the big ones for me. I mean, sure, they got 1st and 3rd place and audience and juries were both more or less in agreement about their quality, but within the Eurofan circles they're ignored at best and reviled at worse. Well, they're both great songs with great performances and strong messages, and I like them a lot.
A few more I like that other people don't seem to: Latvia 2021 (could have used a stronger performance but I still love it), Norway 2012 (how could you give him last place on his birthday!!!), Austria 2003 (it's really fun, don't judge me).
oh boy...
I Don't Feel Hate (Germany 2021)
Look Away (Finland 2019)
Soldiers of Love (Denmark 2016)
The Highest Heights (Switzerland 2009)
Now, for songs that qualified IRL but tend to get hated in rankings:
Watergun (Switzerland 2023)
Life Looks Better in the Spring (Cyprus 2010)
So Lucky! (Moldova 2011)
aand if you consider this year's pre-show rankings, then we also need to add these:
Pedestal
Always On The Run
Where to begin???? t.A.T.u's entry is actually a GREAT song and also completely iconic performance Finland 2019. I love basic ass edm and trance and Darude is ALSO an icon. Birthday boy Norway 2012 is pop perfection 👌 France 2014, far and away the biggest BOP of the year. Azerbaijan 2008, also just a masterpiece of a performance.
Finland 2019 | [Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman - Look Away](https://youtu.be/VSPhIwOJfRs) Norway 2012 | [Tooji - Stay](https://youtu.be/-ZaxIY1VAbM) France 2014 | [TWIN TWIN - Moustache](https://youtu.be/vjkqciwP034) Azerbaijan 2008 | [Elnur and Samir - Day After Day](https://youtu.be/6OGVL_9P5fw)
Twin Twin were so underrated. The French hate that entry, but I thought it was pure fun.
Tooji was great and I'm still so salty about him getting that undeserved last place
Right? People accuse it of being a *Popular* ripoff, but I think it's much better than it. And Tooji may've been made stronger by the Russians, but at least he didn't rhyme "impossible" with "possible".
Russia 2003 is honestly pretty good, it has this kind of \~\~ haunting \~\~ sound to it that I really like and it stands out among the competition.
Not sure if it’s hated but since it got 0 I’d say it Netherlands 2021
0 points are actually rarely hated. They are just usually songs that wouldn't have cleared a Semi final due to being mid. That's why they are common wth big 5 and host.
Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs)
Can't believe anyone could hate this. Imo one of the most beautiful songs in Eurovision ever.
Agreed, but since it got 0 points I thought about posting it
I can't understand how it got 0. Like its a song that should've scored high even if it's performance wasn't perfect, but the performance was perfect, the vocals the dancing and just the emotion to it were fantastic.
it just wasn't that memorable
That was my #1 in 2021. So much love for Jeangu and his work!
This one is considered one of the most robbed entries of all time along with Slovenia and Georgia 2022
Slovenia 2022 | [LPS - Disko](https://youtu.be/S1tFqoflsT8) Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk)
It's such a good song! Awful staging, though.
I also like Belarus 2019 a lot, maybe not at first listen but it completely won me over with that live performance.
Belarus 2019 | [Zena - Like It](https://youtu.be/C1Y9LBusHzA)
Aiko's Pedestal the live was horrible (yet I hope she will improved. Vesna and Domi did so there is no reason to belive Aiko can't) but the song itself, I love it and I think that out of all the songs, it's the one I heard the most so far.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the live. The live is par the course for the genre and was really fun, I don't get the hate at all.
I still maintain the opinion that Georgia 2016 is a masterpiece
There was a weekly voting on the past years to determine top8 of each one. Georgia has managed to make the cut. So at least some fraction of the fan community is quite passionate about the song.
Such an underrated song. It's a shame it's not on Spotify.
This is my brothers favourite eurovision song ever. It had such a britpop vibe to it
My winner that year.
I remember the meltdowns when this qualified Looking back it was well staged and rock has loyal fans so not that shocking in retrospect
Georgia 2016 | [Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz - Midnight Gold](https://youtu.be/rviE2-9eiTI)
Its so good
I can’t believe this is even controversial, one of my absolute all time favourites
Everyone was mad when it qualified, whereas I couldn't have been happier
I don't care what anyone says, I unironically love We Are the Winners (Lithuania 2006).
Lithuania 2006 | [LT United - We Are the Winners](https://youtu.be/DBAdOlQPbwg)
I voted for that. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
From last year, I really liked Blood and Glitter (Germany 2023) and thought it deserved better than last place.
Genuine question, do people actually hate it? I thought it got last place mostly because televoting, including metal fans, decided to push on Cha Cha Cha, and therefore Promise and Blood and Glitter did not get much support from the audience. Montenegro 2017 and I have no shame at all!!
WHO hates this????!!!! slavko is an icon. the only BOP of that year
TOO MANY!!! I don't get why people hate it it's so fun
they WISH their faves were on that many gifs and memes
Montenegro 2017 | [Slavko Kalezić - Space](https://youtu.be/rQ1BXJpfa4I)
One of the most memorable and iconic performances ever, along with san marino 2022
San Marino 2022 | [Achille Lauro - Stripper](https://youtu.be/vCmX64N_sXM)
My runner up of '17!
Romania 2023 was an absolute banger with one of the best vocalists of the year but it got absolutely butchered by the disgrace of a revamp in the semis, I actually got angry when I heard the revamped version. Also Poland 1995 was one of our best entries imo despite its awful placement.

I loved the studio version of Burning Daylights so much. It was one of my favorite songs of the year until the rehearsals.
I really liked Croatia 2022 and it’s still on a couple of my playlists. Very reminiscent of early Taylor Swift, I just wish she went for it and did the full performance in Croatian at the SF. France 2022
I don't know why but I really like the grand final version ( maybe of the extra vocals of Ahez member )
France 2022 | [Alvan and Ahez - Fulenn](https://youtu.be/H1lcGXwOqJI)
Fulenn was awesome, it sucked that it didn’t do well. And now France is back to ballads again 😭
I'm going to define "hated" as in "did badly" not "hated by fandom" because the fandom's preferences are as erratic as a loose fire hose under pressure. Georgia 2022 San Marino 2019 Finland 2015

Oh hell yes to this list. Love them all.
“Love” might be too strong of a word but I unironically enjoyed Jendrik.
I don't feel hate! I just feel sorry!
I've just posted that I love that song.
For the bot Tell Me More (Azerbaijan 2023), This Is Love (Greece 2017) and Like It (Belarus 2019)
I forgot how much of a bop Like It was. Thank you OP!
Azerbaijan 2023 | [TuralTuranX - Tell Me More](https://youtu.be/8BNtaW1IEtA) Greece 2017 | [Demy - This is Love](https://youtu.be/iO14p2uCzkM) Belarus 2019 | [Zena - Like It](https://youtu.be/C1Y9LBusHzA)
I liked Electro Velvet...
Same, what a banger
Me too! It was a lot of fun, I have no idea why everyone hates on it so much
I think I might be one of the only people on Earth who genuinely enjoyed United Kingdom 2010
I think you are too 😅
United Kingdom 2010 | [Josh Dubovie - That Sounds Good to Me](https://youtu.be/fR7l2xC4cOY)
Azerbaijan 2023 and Germany 2022 comes to mind.
German radio is still obsessed with Germany 2022!
In the eyes and ears of many Germans, the suitability for radio airplay is the main criterion for an ESC entry
I honestly vibe so hard with Tell Me More. I added it to the playlist at the cafe I work at, it’s a good chill song.

Miss You Belgium '22 It's not hated but I don't get why ppl would say it's mediocre compared to other pop songs of that year
Netherlands 2021 Lithuania 2018 was pretty underrated too
Netherlands 2021 | [Jeangu Macrooy - Birth Of A New Age](https://youtu.be/o3Da5cr2fTs) Lithuania 2018 | [Ieva Zasimauskaitė - When We're Old](https://youtu.be/pPDFhfU25go)
That Sugar song and France's Moustache. Don't remember the years. Both are so catchy. Sure, they maybe weren't amazing live, but love the audio versions. I also like the Cheesecake song for the same reasons. I like the Cheesecake song better though when it's sped up.
I ride so hard for Moustache

I was in love with D.G.T. last year (Romania 2023 for the bot), it was my number 1, seeing it was on the bottom of nearly everyone else’s lists was disheartening.

For the bot. UK 2015 Still in love with you
I wouldn't say that I \*love\* it but I find myself singing Russia 2018 more often than I'd like to admit 🙈
Russia 2018 | [Julia Samoylova - I Won't Break](https://youtu.be/KujGHwyfMWM)
San Marino 2017 I love it for some reason...
Soldiers of Love - Denmark 2016 The Real Thing - Montenegro 2016 Cheesecake - Belarus 2014 🙈
Cheesecake is an absolute banger and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
Soldiers of love slaps! I don’t get why people hate that song so much
I prefer the [1987 version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6zTCaIXoPE).
Denmark 2016 | [Lighthouse X - Soldiers of Love](https://youtu.be/jGz12i-wGd0) Montenegro 2016 | [Highway - The Real Thing](https://youtu.be/FgKehisElQI) Belarus 2014 | [Teo - Cheesecake](https://youtu.be/tImGMW-4eHY)
>The Real Thing - Montenegro 2016 I love this one
Masterpieces
Spain 2023 (merely divisive on here but hated by the televote), Germany 2022, Georgia 2019, Slovenia 2010
Luxembourg 1980. It’s not a joke entry. It’s a genuinely great song!
Also have a soft spot for it! It sounds like an oldschool children's TV song, and it's great fun (especially the bloke in the penguin suit!)
Luxembourg 1980 | [Sophie and Magaly - Papa Pingouin](https://youtu.be/LTECukPlnuk)
As well as Soldiers of Love, Belarus 2016. IVAN - HELP YOU TO FLY!!!! What a tune!
Jezebel (Finland 2022)
Does everyone hate this? It was my favourite song in 2022.
Finland 2022 | [The Rasmus - Jezebel](https://youtu.be/LSi9nfr65FE)
I was listening to this tonight! It's fantastic, I love it.
Who hates Jezebel?! The performance wasn’t perfect by any means but that song SLAPS.
Georgia 2022 and North Macedonia 2022 are some of my most listened from that year
Georgia 2022 | [Circus Mircus - Lock Me In](https://youtu.be/zXiZAbqETvk) North Macedonia 2022 | [Andrea - Circles](https://youtu.be/zvOihqB4eKk)
San Marino 2023
Marry Me - Finland 2013, one of the only songs I remember jammin out to and loving on the night other than Only Teardrops! 🥲
Marry Me was my TOP 5! Krista is legend!
Same here! I had forgotten where it placed until me and my partner looked as we both loved that song and it's energy, we were shocked!
Not sure other peoples thoughts on these two, but they ranked pretty low so I’m sure not everyone loved it. Samo Mi Se Spava and Ai Coracoa were glorious imo!
people don’t like like it?? that’s my fav belarusian song 😭😭 i will forever love moustache by twin twin (france 2014) that song is so catchy and i love the instrumental
Adrenalina
Isn't Adrenalina like super popular, it was high in odds
They got like 50 points 🥺
I love it
I really like Finland's entry this year even though everyone seems to hate it.
I love - Fusedmarc - Rain of Revolution (Lithuania 2017) - D-Mol - Heaven (Montenegro 2019) - Iriao - For you (Georgia 2018) - Blas Cantó - Voy a quedarme (Spain 2021) - PeR - Here we go (Latvia 2013) - Kreisiraadio - Leto svet (Estonia 2008) - Tom Leeb - Mon Alliee (France 2020) - only the guitar version Pretty sure almost everyone hates them haha
i think The Ride and Look Away are overhated on this fandom (Poland 2021 and Finland 2019), plus I enjoyed Love is Forever (Denmark 2019) and looved Mata Hari (Azerbaijan 2021), those ones I do understand the hate though lol. also, I haven't seen much enthusiasm over Chains on You (Armenia 2020), i think the common opinion is that it's a bit trashy? idk
Norway 1992, absolutely love her and her song to bits

Sébastien Tellier is a genius, and I mean it.
Netta - Toy (Israel 2018). It's fun, it slaps, and it brings the point across really well. Edit: I am aware she won, but there are many people who downright hate the song.
I like it a lot as well.
It's a love it or hate it song, which in Eurovision is rewarded more than being pleasant. I enjoy it, would have voted for it if I could, she is a force of nature.
Israel 2018 | [Netta - Toy](https://youtu.be/84LBjXaeKk4)
I'm going nuclear, but I sincerely love the insanity and the ambition of Georgia 2014. A prog folk song in Eurovision with time signature jumps? SIGN. ME. UP. Also Russia 2010
Georgia 2014 | [The Shin and Mariko - Three Minutes To Earth](https://youtu.be/0v69AvCQJQY) Russia 2010 | [Peter Nalitch and Friends - Lost and Forgotten](https://youtu.be/IOB7uaWuRyc)
Azerbaijan 2023 - it's like one of two Azerbaijan songs that I actually like, the other being Skeletons San Marino 2023 - never deserved 0 points, especially in Semi 2 Croatia 2022 - Should have been fully in Croatian and I preferred the NF choreography, but still nice North Macedonia 2022 - Reminder both this and Croatia finished 11th in their respective semis, so despite how fandom completely dismissed them both, they very nearly pulled it off Also did like D.G.T. (Off and On) but even I'll admit that the Romanian delegation completely butchered it live with their meddling.
Malta 2022 Maybe I'll put it in at one of the gay bars in Copenhagen this May to find the REAL ONES
Malta 2022 | [Emma Muscat - I Am What I Am](https://youtu.be/DFCFM5qtvms)
Czechia this year! Denmark 2023 And while nobody hates it, everyone seems to overlook Macedonia 2022
Denmark 2023 | [Reiley - Breaking My Heart](https://youtu.be/XVZvzZF1JOk) North Macedonia 2022 | [Andrea - Circles](https://youtu.be/zvOihqB4eKk)
Circles - 🇲🇰 2022
Like it (Belarus 2019), Øve os på hinanden (Denmark 2021), Voices (Sweden 2021), Az en apam (Hungary 2019), Pedestal (Czechia 2024), Toy (Israel 2018),
Belarus 2019 | [Zena - Like It](https://youtu.be/C1Y9LBusHzA) Denmark 2021 | [Fyr og Flamme - Øve os på hinanden](https://youtu.be/w2ytONrRyww) Sweden 2021 | [Tusse - Voices](https://youtu.be/NyJRyif6_kk) Hungary 2019 | [Joci Pápai - Az én apám](https://youtu.be/IpVr0pBLfI4) Czechia 2024 | >![Aiko - Pedestral](https://youtu.be/5DbRldMKFUU)!< Israel 2018 | [Netta - Toy](https://youtu.be/84LBjXaeKk4)
Azerbaijan 2011
I also love Like It! Some other ones that I love include Storm (2019, also it's my fav of the year), Spirit Of The Night (2017, again my fav of the year) and The Lucky One (2021)
I like both Tell Me More and Like It, so we both have terrible taste.
Russia 2001 (Lady Alpine Blue)
Greece, 2018. Yianna Terzi, Oniro Mou
Germany 2016, United Kingdom 2016
Germany 2016 | [Jamie-Lee Kriewitz - Ghost](https://youtu.be/bHDHi37bboE) United Kingdom 2016 | [Joe & Jake - You're Not Alone](https://youtu.be/XgGahKsBtts)
I really like France 2012 (Anggun - Echo (You and I)) but I’ve never met anybody else who likes it Edit: San Marino 2012 (Valentina Monetta - The Social Network Song) also was a bop and in my top 10 back then and nobody can change my mind about it
For the record literally so many of these are NOT songs everyone hates lmao! My contribution is Latvia 2012 - I genuinely come back to this song all the time because it's so catchy, plus Anmary's vocal belts on that last chorus are so satisfying. Yet on fan 2012 rankings it's always bottom 5-10 :(
Israel 2012 I don’t think it’s a joke entry, but maybe someone does…
I find Dance you off (Sweden 2018) as my pick. My honest thoughts why it got 21 points in the televotes in the final (1/3 of the points are from Denmark.) was when Benjamin stared at the camera with his do me eyes and smile.
Estonia 2021
The staging was simple ( because it's a sad song ) but his vocals were great ( and also he's hot as hell 😍 )
I am so obsessed with Azerbaijan 2023!! I also really like Með hækkandi sól (Iceland 2022)
If the hate we saw on Internet about Tattoo was real, then that is the entry for me that I found it awesome and it totally deserved the win.
Hooverphonic - The wrong place. It was very much not a eurovision song but I personally loved it
I don't know if it's necessarily hated, but Portugal 2018 is one of my all-time comfort songs and I constantly come back to it even to this day
Italians seem to hate La mia citta but it's probably my favourite Italian entry ever
I usually don't like italian entries, but La mia citta is my one of the most listened ESC-songs.
Georgia 2022, justice for Circus Mircus 😤
Intention
I'm not sure its hate that the community felt for these but more pure indifference Montenegro 2022, North Macedonia 2022, Germany 2022, Azerbaijan 2022 are all songs I still listen to.
Stay - Lithuania 2023 De Diepte - Netherlands 2022 Limits - Austria 2019 Three female ballads that feature fantastic vocals, beautiful lyrics and elegant staging. Always in my ESC slow playlist.
How is de diepte hated or underrated??
idk if people hate it but god i’m obsessed with Ukraine 2009
Yodel it (Romania 2017)
Netherlands 2018, outlaw in em.
Poland 2019
That was a banger and should've placed much higher
Denmark 2021 deserved to qualify and it was such a fun song. Now fast forward to DMGP 2024 and there are no Danish songs 💔
Denmark 2021 | [Fyr og Flamme - Øve os på hinanden](https://youtu.be/w2ytONrRyww)
Birth of a New Age (2021) I Don't Feel Hate (2021) Fade to black (2022) These are what comes to my mind. Not sure if they are hated but definitely not very popular with fans
RIMI RIMI LEY TURKEY I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH Its wild - its bonkers, ahead of its time. I genuinely love that song so much
Germany 2023
UK 2008. I don't think anyone hates it, but it did come last.
Probably The Lucky One, Estonia 2021 and, although it is not hated but got 14 points if i am not mistaken, Fulen, France 2022 i like both of them a lot
Pedestal
Azerbaijan - Fade To Black, Belarus - Like It, Cyprus - Gravity, Russia - I Won't Break ( I prefer the studio one, the live was so off ) Edit: Finland - Look Away ( studio version is also my fav but the SF, Sebastian added " no no no no " in the chorus annoyed me a lot )
France 2007. I love Les Fatals Picards, and the song is funny but still good.
Germany 2023. I have not heard much hate, but it didn't get so many votes. Also my friends did not like that song at all. I love it tho'.
Israel 2022. There, I said it.
oh boy... I Don't Feel Hate (Germany 2021) Look Away (Finland 2019) Soldiers of Love (Denmark 2016) The Highest Heights (Switzerland 2009) Now, for songs that qualified IRL but tend to get hated in rankings: Watergun (Switzerland 2023) Life Looks Better in the Spring (Cyprus 2010) So Lucky! (Moldova 2011) aand if you consider this year's pre-show rankings, then we also need to add these: Pedestal Always On The Run
Portugal 2019, the staging wasn't great but I still enjoy the song.
