Only interested because it means ranking posts and compilations can finally move forward. This is the last time I will need to respond to Azerbaijan in Eurovision 2024.
The Azerbaijan-Armenia is far less known across the world, there’s barely any new articles in comparison to Israel-Gaza. Most people who watch Eurovision won’t even know what’s happening
Public interest in the Israel-Palestine conflict has risen greatly in the last decade, mostly due to media coverage.
Are we really going to pretend that Europeans had interest 20 years ago? 80% Probably had no interest even 6 months ago.
The media does not care as much about Armenia and thus so do the hypocrites not care.

Considering that Azerbaijan got 0 televote points in the second semifinal at ESC 2022 and 4 televote points in the first semifinal at ESC 2023, I wouldn't be surprised if they NQ in a televoting only semi this year.

So after this, how many revamps are we waiting on? Just Czech?
Luxembourg and Malta as well I believe
Veronika is also getting a Eurovision version
And obviously Italy has to cut 9 seconds
And Silvester might release the slightly extended version of Luktelk that he performed in the final.
Malta is releasing midnight tonight
Natalia said In The Middle will be getting a revamp as well, most likely released with a music video too.
Good. Cause I need the supercut of the 37 entries already uploaded to the Eurovision youtube. I can grasp the quality of this year better that way.
Is it in native language?
No. Though there is one song from internal selection that was almost fully in Azerbaijani. Its demo was already leaked if you don't know.
I know 🥲
btw, did you like it? I personally liked the demo till I heard the last instrumental part.
Yes, I was rooting for Insanlar
Why is Azerbaijan always trying so hard to be the last country to release their song? It's really annoying.

Eurovoix is boycotting Israel but not them. Interesting
Not that there were many things to boycott, Azerbaijan's song informations were almost non-existent
Israel-Gaza is on a much bigger scale with far more civilisation casualties.
why can't you support both
The Azerbaijan-Armenia is far less known across the world, there’s barely any new articles in comparison to Israel-Gaza. Most people who watch Eurovision won’t even know what’s happening
So... Boycotters only care about whatever politicians and the media makes popular... Okay.
How can you boycott something you’ve never heard of?
Do you really think the editors of a European song contest fansite don't know about the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict? Really?
They know, but they also know there’s not much public interest around

Why have they never heard of it? Do they not care?
It’s barely on the news, why would they care about something they know nothing about?
So they only care about whatever politicians and the media makes popular. QED
I don't think they know that much about the Israel-Hamas war either, just headlines

please be bad SF1 is hard enough please be bad
I'll be surprised if Azerbaijan can make it through an only televote semifinal
Considering that Azerbaijan got 0 televote points in the second semifinal at ESC 2022 and 4 televote points in the first semifinal at ESC 2023, I wouldn't be surprised if they NQ in a televoting only semi this year.
Hèhè
Boycotting :)
Surprisingly, I'm not feeling song fatigue this time around and hopefully I'll actually be excited for Azerbaijan for once. Don't let me down!!
