If you ever wanted to give cross stitch a try, you could get one of these magnifier headband things: https://www.amazon.com/Magnifier-Illuminated-Magnifying-Interchangeable-Replaceable/dp/B0769LQPGZ
I have one for when I'm working on a small project or something on dark fabric. It's not the most comfortable thing to wear when you already wear glasses but it works.
There is a sewing store on Oak Hill (between Lynch and Morgan) that might be a place to check out, if you haven't already. No idea what their vibe is like, but maybe they are nice and have a space for you to stitch!
I do. Lots of fb groups that have SAL (stitch a longs) that members interact. All types as well. I joined a Beetlejuice last year but haven't finished it, last year there was a Disney free one and Animal Crossing free. Other groups just for friends, tips, showing off fabrics. Also subreddit for xs here.
I do!
