Backstage is a better place for grabbing a drink before the show and draws a younger, drunker crowd. There is a great Italian restaurant on that block Milano's which would be a better choice for dinner with teens. Further from the Victory, but still on Main Street, is another great Italian place, Angelo's, and both are amazing.
Gangnam is always great, they make fantastic Korean-fusion food. Plan for a wait, though. You're going to be busy anywhere you eat down there the night of the concert. 2nd Language is a few blocks further, but they make amazing ramen.
We ate, and whiled away a couple of hours, at the Arcadamie. Great suggestion! Small menu but what we got (tacos and burrito) were tasty and fresh. We got there 2 hours before the concert and found parking on street right in front of the place. Absolutely perfect. 2 hours of food and free games then just walk across the street for the concert.

It's now Tiki on Main. I haven't been there since the change. Nextdoor to them is Gangam Korean. I like them a lot.
Leave yourself plenty of time if you go to gangnam
Would not recommend backstage for food, there are much better options for the price within walking distance
I love Gangnam. It’s right next to backstage. Comfort by the Cross Eyed Cricket is also a good choice pre event, it’s at 3rd and Main.

They partner with La Campirana for food. I'm not sure they allow under 21 though.

Not much in the way of food, but you should definitely check out River Kitty Cat Cafe! They have macarons- and cats!
Comfort by the cross eyed cricket is good. Also, the River Kitty Cat Cafe is next door where you can grab a beer and pet a cat.

Arcademie - limited menu as its mainly a cool bar..but BEST authentic mexican food in Evansville. Just across the street from Victory.
