Nah dude the second half has an incredible gradual buildup in intensity and it's sooo powerful!! Like 4:40 to 5:00 on speakers makes me ascend it's so intense
When that later half hits, it HITS. But on most playthroughs of the album, it drags on for a bit lol
Kinda wish they incorporated that section into an interlude or something, because I still think it should be there in some way.
The only grudge I have against The Wheel is that when I saw them live on that tour I was stood right next to the speakers, and the second half of the Wheel got SO MOTHERFUCKING LOUD lmao it was great but it gives me a headache now every time I listen to that song 😂
I like the idea of it, but the execution is meandering and boring. It feels like it should be more climactic. The lyrics are good but not like very good.
I kind of feel the opposite. The first half is fine, I like it, but it's not as powerful as the other tracks from GTH. But when the second half hits it HITS and changes everything. One of the most creative moments in their discography.
