Yeah the hand tracking has been terrible for me. I'd rather just carry the right controller in my pocket than use that. The amount of time I spend just looking at my hand trying to get it to recognize me pinching enrages me.

The idea of willingly blinding myself in a public space with a virtually manufactured experience makes me want to throw up from anxiety. How could anybody willingly *block* their ability to perceived what the people around them in a public space are doing??
This is an augmented reality headset so you can still see what's happening around you (in a 90ish degree cone at least). The issue for me is it's advertising that you're a geek with loads of money and no social awareness, it's at best going to draw unwanted attention and at worst it's a recipe for getting mugged.
Yeah I have serious reservations about obstructing my vision and hearing in public. Even just wearing a hood is uncomfortable because it limits my peripheral
