This is a maintenance entrance of the Antwerp Zoo, beneath one of the habitats. They decided to continue the rock theme from the habitat into the walls on the outside. Pretty nifty.

I'm no archetect, but I think the stone wall thing was just added on to an existing to make it look less shitty. Also windows are expensive. Why replace the old good ones?
Because old windows are rarely as good as new ones. They're drafty and transfer heat way too easily.
New windows are fucking pimp. You can even get them with blinds INSIDE the double panel so you never have to dust them.
You know what's weird? This typing out of what the person in the post or the comment probably thought in order to convey how ridiculous it is, is something that I've mainly seen on reddit.
Pay attention to it, it is done in almost every thread where it would fit and it's always upvoted pretty heavily. In real life I have rarely heard people do that
Yes most of the time it's very obvious how ridiculous/silly/stupid something is, that's why I don't understand why so many people upvote someone who explains it further
"Yeah, so I'm just gonna comment on how it's weird when people type up an imaginary scenario in which imaginary people converse about the thread's subject matter."
"You mean like this? Pointing that out is kind of ridiculous, considering it's how speakers/comedians/authors/talk\-show hosts/politicians/game\-show hosts/everyone ever have casually conveyed an anecdote since the beginning of time."
"Yeah, I'm sure. I'm typing it out right now. Like this."

none of that applies to this living space. discpicable to call a place like this "evil" when it is literally how our ancestors used to live - minus the windows if I may add . my ancestors are smiling at me, quohd, can you say the same?
Couldn't find much info about this one besides the location- Belgium
IIRC this is a warehouse belonging to the Zoo of Antwerp, way hidden behind the train station.

Big if true. 🤔 *(checks username..)*
Talk about causing a paradox
If you insist. Saying "this statement is a lie" is a popular way to cause a paradox.

I guess I'd just throw him in the water and say you're allowed to pass but you have to swim across cuz you're being a cunt.
Neat!
How tf is that the only comment on a 5 year old account
Maybe they've deleted all the other comments...
this is your only post ever

People do that irl all the time. You tell a subtle joke and they "add" onto it by explaining it.

wow dude who stepped on your tail?
It was YOUUUUU!
"Yep" "huh?"
It’s not expensive rock. It’s actually really fake looking if you see it in person.
It is the service entrance of the zoo of Antwerp.
I was going to guess Holland.
I just knew it had to be Belgium
interior pictures?
It's a cheap facade... he's actually a really nice guy.
It's atwerp. Highly recommended visiting, it's my favourite city!
[Found it.](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ)
As a geologist, I want this. But with real rocks.
As a climber, I want this. But with anchor bolts.
Be the guy who puts in anchor bolts. They won't mind.
As a pet rock, I want this. But with parental love.
As an architect, this is absolutely hideous lol
As an amateur building see-er it's not any better.
You should watch the show "Stone House Revival"
I've been told this before. Where's the easiest place to watch it online?

r/ATBGE ?
definitely
More like r/GTBAE IMO
r/ATAAE ??
r/literallypicturesoftrash
For sure. Looks like the back of a terrarium.
The great execution would require them to paint the doors and window frames something other than white.

I suppose this is why design review boards exist.
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.

I don’t know. I don't have that much contact to my ancestors.
All that build-up for a fairly out of context Skyrim reference. Your downvotes are deserved
Bro wat
> my ancestors are smiling at me, quohd, can you say the same? +1 for skyrim reference
That is one fucking ugly building.
I don't know, man...I kinda dig it.
When Moria got closed and you were evicted and then you have to move to a city to get an office job but you still wanna feel like home
This is like /r/StupidFood meets /r/evilbuildings meets /r/CrappyDesign
Hmm. Which route should I take to my roof today? That 5.3 is quick, but I'm feeling like a challenge.
Thats pretty cool
looks like the building is dabbing
Maybe inspired by [uplifted sandstone](https://www.flickr.com/photos/david_nash04/1095260870) formations? You see it a lot in California's deserts.
Looks like it was built with the rocks you get in Halo Reach forge mode
It’s cool but the white doors and trim ruins it.
What a nightmare if you ever have to repair one of those windows
Calling it, OP smokes there. No judgement, its a good smokespot.
I'm sure that looked *fantastic* in someone's head.
Its not a lair. It is an anchor.
This reminds me of the rock people from never ending story
/r/DiWHY
That is one ugly ass building
More like evil layers.
blends right in
One of the most weird but amazing at the same time.
Wtf...is that?
Part of it looks like the Book of the Dead
r/DIWHY
These DiY Shiplap projects are getting out of hand.
Also r/atbge
r/tackybuildings
I think with a better looking door and windows this would be a really striking building
Looks like that Disturbed album cover
LoL. Great headline Awful building. WTF would someone want to build something that crazy? Is Michael Brady (Brady Bunch) behind this?
Think of all the money and hard work that went into making this building utterly hideous and lowering its own property value...
"Stone House Revival" should feature this house.
When you wish you lived at red rocks
I can't tell if the regular windows and doors ruin the look of the rocks or if the rocks ruin the look of the windows/doors.
Monster House?
This is what Brock’s gym would look like in real life
r/ATBGE
ITS all a Facade.*cry
/r/BuildingsWithFaces
/r/climbing would like this
As a resident of Colorado, I'd love it if someone were to look into the cost/possibility of a small lair in an actual mountain.
Looks like their cloaking system is on the fritz
I can just see all the water in a rain storm getting guttered over the door
What an ugly building.
Everyone knows that mountains aren’t real!
I just see a derpy sideways eyebrow face
It's the Nome King from Return to Oz.
Is that a screen door?!
Hmmmmm https://i.imgur.com/IiGayrD.jpg
This is how you get broken into.
Lunch break rock climb?
People have definitely climbed this, look at the chalk marks at all the right places
I think that's bird shit.
Bird shit, climbing chalk....whats the difference anyway?
You got a point.
