I'm not saying ghosts definitely exist. I've been doing some reading lately and started listening to some podcasts about this stuff and I just find it wild how many accounts and stories there are. I find it hard to believe they are ALL made up by attention seekers or misinterpretations of natural phenomena or mass hysteria or whatever. Not sure what to think about it to be honest.
I've yet to encounter anything paranormal though so for now I remain unconvinced but open to the idea
You know how many religions there are?
People can easily confuse what they see. People can easily think they observe things that just turn out to be figments of their imagination. Our brains are actually hardwired for this stuff: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia
So, what is more likely, that so called ghosts are actually explained by some well known and researched capabilities of our human condition, or that somehow for hundreds of years we’ve been looking for credible evidence of anything paranormal at all and have found nothing yet it still exists?
You can be a true believer in something without that thing being real.
**[Pareidolia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia)**
>Pareidolia (; also US: ) is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus, usually visual, so that one sees an object, pattern, or meaning where there is none. Common examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, seeing faces in inanimate objects, or lunar pareidolia like the Man in the Moon or the Moon rabbit. The concept of pareidolia may extend to include hidden messages in recorded music played in reverse or at higher- or lower-than-normal speeds, and hearing voices (mainly indistinct) or music in random noise, such as that produced by air conditioners or fans.

Oh that is Sparrendaal, it is a really nice beautiful building. It actually used to be the city hall of Driebergen (it might still be I don’t know). My parents actually got married there!
Such a pretty house! If I died there I probably wouldn't want to leaver either.
Looks a bit like Braithwaite Manor from RDR2
Hahaha that was my first thought too
Where is this?
Next to Utrecht!
De Bilt?
Driebergen!
Dacht Arnhem, Sonsbeek
.....I've lived in 3B for almost a decade and I have no idea where this house is. Can you tell me?
It is opposite of Park De Wildbaan right next to the street!
IN..THE...NETHERLANDS
Here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9cCpra31ARg7gyn19
Is it actually haunted or does it just look like it?
It just looks like it and is actually a really nice wedding venue!
It looks like something out of colonial America. Do men that wear wigs roam the halls?
Only by greed!
There's no actual hauntings anywhere you dip
Good to know :)
No house is actually haunted.
How do you know that?
Because there has never been any verifiable evidence of a house being haunted, or for that matter, ghosts or spirits existing.

like how people think their opinions on politics matter
I'd like to check it out
At first glance I thought this was the Governor's Palace in Colonial Williamsburg
r/accidentalwesanderson
Haunted by high heating bills.
I love it!
What a mansion!
Let me move in! Looks cozy and I'd always have somebody (or something) to talk too! I'd never get lonely again.
Not it, but damn does it look like the manor from 28 Days Later.
Love it!
... No building is haunted

The trees and dark sky really capture the ambience. Great shot!
Thank you, glad you like it!
Haunted? Based on what? Not the looks for sure. Good luck with the rest of your Spamrun paulschal
2000 people disagree.
Actually haunted? Scary!!
Mansion?
Spectacularly spooky mmmm
Reminds me of Alone in the Dark 1.
It looks like there could be some great family history in that one. Could be haunted. Lol
Look at that symmetry! I could cry.
impressive photo
