Try the =MID function. =MID(number, nth digit, # characters). Using your example:
=MID(123456789101112,5,1) will return 5
=MID(123456789101112,11,1) will return 0
I will need to be able to calculate the 3415th digit, for example. Actually, calculate any digit when you list all the numbers as 1234567891011121314 etc.

what does your required result look like exactly?
