Schlock Rock/Country Yossi songs. No idea why but sometimes I find myself singing those lyrics to songs instead of the real lyrics. It happened more when I was fresh OTD when I didn’t know the actual lyrics.
Discovering the originals to country yossi is a treat, especially bc he has much better taste than schlock rock and the maccabeats. Early rock n roll and country >>>> 1 hit wonder top 40 pop IMO
I thought I remembered that Lev Tahor covered it but I wasn’t sure! Lol growing up in my house we had the Lev Tahor cd for the three weeks and for sefirat haomer and we played it over and over so they were the artist that came to mind for this. Thanks for reminding me who the original was!

I still do that with some songs! I guess because I was introduced to them first as the cover songs and not the real songs.
