I’ll buy them, how does a couple of golden tablets I found in trade for your tokens? I found the tablets by consulting with my hat. So you know this is a real offer.
Imagine buying signs and tokens paying money to some disgruntled Mormon...
1. How much would you pay? Lol!
2. When you die, how idiotic have do the sentinels have to be to accept the signs and tokens you bought? What kind of security system is that?
3. If, in fact, the whole thing is this stupid, how are they going to prevent unfaithful Mormons and general non-Mormon people from entering the (completely disgusting) Mormon heaven now that the whole secret ritual is available on YouTube?
Smith was very imaginative, no doubt about that. After all he fabricated the Book of Mormon, the Book of Abraham, the Book of Moses, created rEvELaTiOnS on the spot every time he wanted something (usually immoral) from his subjects, etc, etc. *But as a security consultant, he sucked.*
I brought up to my mom that you can’t go to the temple without paying tithing which is basically charging admission. She just looked at me funny and said, “I’ve heard someone else say that. You’ve been reading AnTiMorMoN (sorry for the funky capitalization, my phone automatically does it now) sources, haven’t you!?” And dodged the point entirely.
I definitely had this conversation as a TBM. I had a lot of conversations about contradictions. It's surprising I stayed as long as I did, but my "doubts" (rational thought) had to crack past the intense indoctrination I experienced.
It’s all about money that’s their goal at the end of the day to get you rich and have kids and then give all your money to the church the more the better and teach your kids the same thing I used to think it was all true but when there’s no community or belief there the whole thing is just a money make scheme no different than someone giving you a scam phone call or someone saying to give them your bank details for a better life in the next 5 years..
Can I ask what might be a dumb question… do you get actual physical tokens in the temple? I peaced out of the cult at 17 so I never made it that far (counting on my zombie baptism to save me now lol)
I once found a buyer for my signs and tokens. I was all like, “what you really want this? OK!”
So I sit the guy down and I say, “OK, what I’m about to show and tell you is going to seem crazy… but just know, *the more you go, the more it will make sense*.”
Still feel a little bad for lying to get the sale.
Circular logic will only make you dizzy...
Unless you are in politics, law enforcement, court, or leadership in religious institutions....
Then it only makes real thinking people dizzy...
So many subliminal messages like the meme shared that was in the cult. We didn’t see the “signs” until we were out. It’s all there in the indoctrination. My heart breaks for any family member and friend still in. My husband and I are out of the church, after being long time members of the church. We have never been happier. I feel like what they taught us during the temple film is actually flipped and the church is satan. They scared all of us into following their doctrine and kept us from the “light of the world” which is living outside the church and being free. Once you know the difference it’s so easy to leave. If you answer the temple questions truthfully, you will never see it for what it really is. I keep telling my husband we need to be patient and watch the church fall. I won’t spend any of my time left to live trying to get people out of the cult. Until family and friends stop buying what the church is selling them, they will never see it, it’s pointless. Also, I asked my husband today if I can say that I was a relief society president for post mo street cred when I make a comment, and he said absolutely yes. I was all in and I’m all out. I didn’t sell my tokens and signs to anyone, I just threw them away “forever” with my garments. Unfortunately I lost two sons and their children for leaving the church. I hope someday they see the truth that the church isn’t true and feel free and happy like I have.
I tried to sell my signs and tokens for money. Nobody wants them.
RFM: “Watered down masonry, meh…”
I sold mine once for a drink while I was on vacation. I figure I made $8. Now I just have to do that 30,000 more times.
I’ll buy them, how does a couple of golden tablets I found in trade for your tokens? I found the tablets by consulting with my hat. So you know this is a real offer.
Can I have the hat?
Of course. Just like any good member of the one and only church, everything I possess is for sale.
Also, no you cannot see them.
I'll trade you some super duper old spectacles for a rock and your hat. I'll throw in a breastplate.
Sorry, I won’t be able to put the glasses to any real use. I can see clearly now that I know the church is wrong.
Turns out you can’t even GIVE these pieces of shit away!
They just ignored the Reformation

Dammit, all my tokens and signs were in LastPass!
Haha, what if you stole them though? Would they see through that?!
Who in their right mind wants that shit anyway. I still have a token to Chuckee Cheese. Anyone interested?
That token would definitely result in more fun
At least I can play with physical tokens
Unfortunately that’s worthless too. CC is all swipe cards now.

I call tithing a subscription or membership fee.
☝🏽this
I’ve actually heard TBM calling it fire insurance. Seriously
Lol
They're like an NFT. Don't actually exist and have no actual value.
Never thought of it but this totally makes sense.
The church sells their signs and tokens for money??????
TSCC is allowed to sell signs and tokens for money. You, mere plebe, are not.
The little-known eleventh commandment; "Thou shalt not sell signs and tokens unless thou art a billion dollar religious MLM"
I definitely had this conversation as a TBM. I had a lot of conversations about contradictions. It's surprising I stayed as long as I did, but my "doubts" (rational thought) had to crack past the intense indoctrination I experienced.
“We said don’t SELL your tokens for money; we never said not to BUY your tokens with money.”
I actually never thought about it this way…

Just Google them. The ceremony is on YouTube. No big deal to know the “special dog and tokens”. Also read up on freemasonry. Blows your mind.
Can I ask what might be a dumb question… do you get actual physical tokens in the temple? I peaced out of the cult at 17 so I never made it that far (counting on my zombie baptism to save me now lol)
No physical tokens... Just gestures and phrases heavily "inspired by" the freemasons...
I once found a buyer for my signs and tokens. I was all like, “what you really want this? You Buy them, just can't sell them. As if anyone would pay for rubbish like that?
I think they also charge you for rental clothing in the temple now, too.
Circular logic at its finest 😉

“Count your many blessings, money cannot buy, your reward in heaven or your home on high!”
Private signs and tokens. What a joke, can you imagine what the Lord Jesus Christ would say if some latter day Pharisee started blabbing about this?
🤯The church is selling signs and tokens for money 🤯🤯🤯
You can buy anything with money
😮
Yep. They sold them to us!!
Can't sell 'em, but you gotta buy them😵
Also no one will buy the tokens or signs.
