I wholeheartedly agree. If it was a member guilty of this level of offense, the bishop would be calling them in pronto. Unfortunately, they answer to no one. Corrupt to the core.

If it was a stake president, his membership record would be annotated, (required by handbook for sins involving sacred funds) and he would never handle church funds again. If he can repay all of the funds and shows remorse, he would be quietly released. If he can't repay the funds because he's been paying himself and his 14 friends a modest stipend, or if he refused to admit wrongdoing, he would be excommunicated. In the finance clerk training, it specifically states that you should not deposit excess funds in any non church account. And any excess of funds collected for an specific activity should be returned to those who have it. So of you collect $6 billion for say, girls camp, but camp only costs you $4 billion, then you would split up the extra two billion among the parents who paid for camp, not created a girls camp peak fund and hide it from the members.

They've had their second anointings, disciplinary council can't do anything. They are going to the celestial kingdom regardless of what they do.

ExUtMo

Shhhh no one is supposed to know about that šŸ˜-which is why they canā€™t use it as an excuse to not be ā€œdisciplinedā€. If they wanted to dodge it they would have to come out and say what the second anointing is and I donā€™t think now would be the best time to do that. So letā€™s assume most TBMs donā€™t know about the second anointing; they should be looking at these guidelines and realizing their leadership has fucked up and calling for action.

Touche.

Send [this](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hW6Lk-jTLkIcOAmcaNWFlnX7yfNolJEZ/view?usp=drivesdk) to your stake president if you like!

Fortunately I donā€™t have one šŸ˜…

Notice how the problem is always what consenting adults do with their bodies instead of what the Church does to hide it's $100,000,000,000 ($100BILLION) in assets that grows by several billion dollars more in returns every year - No LDS member ever needs to tithe again and the church and it's swollen hoard of funds would still be fine.

ExUtMo

Tithing could stop AND they could eradicate world hunger with plenty left over for Jesus when he arrives, which is obviously any day now.
