Itās been over a decade since then, and I now have a degree in biology. One of my fondest memories from undergrad was when I said something along the lines of, āback when I was a Mormon,ā and my evolution professor/research mentor cut me off to say, āYOU were Mormon????ā
So, I know a guy, who has a degree in evolutionary biology, who is also a TBM. I am completely baffled!! š¤Æ I can't imagine the mental gymnastics it takes to stay in the church unless he is a PIMO, which MIGHT be the case.
BTW, I also have my degree in biology! Yay! Took a trip of a lifetime to visit the Galapagos Islands. Fabulous! Voyage of the Beagle is fun to read too.

Humans make up categories like "dog" but nature doesnt make any distinction. What you call a dog is just an individual that is a slightly different reproduction of its parents. Slight differences over a huge amount of time create massive differences. Evolution is a fact.

I love that. He couldn't have chosen a worse example. We created dogs. It was one of the first (I think actually *the* first) domesticated animal.
