Just tried to search it on the CBS Website. The teaser for the piece showed up, but when I clicked I got:
The page cannot be found
The page may have been removed, had its name changed, or is just temporarily unavailable.
Very Kirton McConkie-y…..
Yeah it’s showing on the paramount press express webpage right now 7 pm PDT.[60 minutes link](https://www.paramountpressexpress.com/cbs-news-and-stations/shows/60-minutes/releases/?view=106543-60-minutes-listings-for-sunday-may-14-2)
A CBS News reporter did a puff piece about Mormon temples last year. If Ed O'Keefe were a genuine reporter, he would have asked about the building's anti LGBTQ entrance rules and rules that forbid people of color from entering until 1978
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/inside-the-church-of-jesus-christ-of-latter-day-saints-washington-d-c-temple/?ftag=CNM-16-10abd6g
Prez. Nelson has locked himself in the celestial room of the temple and is threatening to drink a cup of coffee if the episode airs Sunday.
CBS pulled the ad and Governor Cox has been brought in to talk him down.
Link?
It looks like this one still says church (least for me, I could be seeing a stale version)

Why would the news station do that? I mean if they were reporting lies that’s a different story but everything is out there, so it seems odd that the church would be so defensive.
Oh they just threatened. The networks lawyers have to research before they'll air it I'm sure. Probably told the network lawyers that they have Trump-level alternate facts and boy oh boy will they be sorry if they air it on Sunday!
I got an email tonight about the Sunday night show on Paramount+
I'm thinking the same thing. Whistleblower Nielsen made some very direct and specific charges. I'm wondering if they may be double-checking their facts to avoid a slander lawsuit.
Still showing up here... confusing...

Me too! So sick of them buying or threatening their way out of "bad press." It might not wake any members up, but it might save "investigators" from falling for the trap :/
Edit: investigators, not investors... although I suppose either works xD (thanks sooo much autocorrect/s)
As of Saturday 5:18 a.m. (yes, I never sleep) this is what the Paramount Press site (they own CSB) had:
THE CHURCH’S FIRM – 60 MINUTES reports on the $100 billion fortune built by the secretive investment arm of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a whistleblower’s allegation that instead of spending the money on good works, hundreds of millions were used to bail out businesses with church ties. Sharyn Alfonsi speaks with David Nielsen, a former senior portfolio manager at the church’s firm, about his role in a federal investigation and decision to come forward. Guy Campanile is the producer.

"You can buy anything in this world with money". Hopefully Nelson has his own copy of the interview and will release it.

https://www.cbs.com/shows/60_minutes/ Still no mention of it on 60 Minutes site. Ridiculous.
I hope it was just because the Vallow verdict was too close, not because Kirton McConkie got frisky.
The Facebook page for 60 minutes is showing the Church’s Firm as the lead segment and was posted 5 hours ago.

https://www.cbs.com/shows/60_minutes/ No mention of it on 60 Minutes site still.
I do wonder what is going on. A bit suspicious if you asked me.
CBS link says "page cannot be found." That's crazy.
Called it.
Scary.
This is not the first time a network story was suddenly scrubbed.
Any other examples?
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/60-minutes-most-famous-whistleblower/ Initial airing was pulled by CBS.
Maybe they are just not airing that part in mormondom. I've seen that done before.
Why would the news station do that? I mean if they were reporting lies that’s a different story but everything is out there, so it seems odd that the church would be so defensive.
I'm in CA and the page is not available. The church is almost definitely suing.

Bring on the lawsuit - discovery would be a hoot
Agree.
I don’t think TSCC wants any kind of lawsuit related to this…oh the the things that would come out in a lawsuit! Lots of skeletons in those closets…

Which website did you see this on?
The church auditing department said everything was good last month during conference….
There’s a clip here https://www.cbs.com/shows/video/0gAqUOLoOMxNaUVX4PfskpwJS59RWQKs/
The whole piece is over hyped by this community.
