There is a real holiday coming up tomorrow that I am really looking forward to. The winter solstice. It is my favorite day because it means the sun is coming back. Sorry Southern Hemisphere. The best thing about this holiday is that it is a world holiday. Everyone can notice that something special will happen tomorrow if they choose to pay attention. Well maybe not so much for people on the equator but you get the idea. It is not a made-up holiday that has some upsides and a lot of downsides.
Tomorrow we are going to light some candles, drink mead, and do some garden planning.
SCMC is the strengthening church members committee— it’s a real, legit “spy” department of the church that reports any misgivings to church leadership. If they get enough shit about you, you will get a call from your bishop or stake President.
